I have the same sound, new tc33d this summer. 230 hrs. I thought it wa my brakes dragging, then releasing fully when warmed up. Maybe not. let us know what the dealer says.

Art's comment is to the point. I'd be more concerned about stability than damage to the 3ph. My blab was about getting pallets on and off forks when they're on rough ground. It can take some tinkering and I've had some frustrations even using my more adjustable forklift. I just wanted to prepare you for the possibility that you get them on the forks and then have trouble getting them off and to give yourself plenty of time. Frustration and time pressure is a bad combination when using a small tractor to deal with that much weight.

Sounds like the mechanic is aware of the problem and the system is normal except for the noise. If lighter oil is a solution, I think some synthetics (if recommended) have better cold weather characteristics than F200.

I guess you've been around the tractor enough to know that many power steering systems make a whine, as do relief valves. When the loader was on you probably heard the relief sound when the bucket was rolled completely back. There's the possibility of a malfunction if that's the sound. 3ph's also have a relief valve but it's usually set for higher pressure than the system relief. A weak one is possible and I don't know if the blade is heavy for the 3ph. That would be rare on a new machine and there would be a loss of power. The whine when you're holding the quadrant lever back likely is that the hitch is still in lift mode. Most have an adjustment that controls when the position takes them out of lift but it's not a problem unless it won't go out of lift when the hitch is full height. Most flow control valves only adjust the rate of lowering and don't affect the lift.

For Those asking about shipping costs. If you go to the Corriher site and look at the new tractors and prices, at the bottom of the pictures and infor regarding the tractor there is a link to shipping. If you enter your state, it gives you a rough estimate on the shipping costs. I looked at my local area which is the panhandle of WV and although you can not be specific to location ( Just state ) I used PA and Delaware as my reference. It was about $439 +/- 10%. Understand that it is rough, but even with that, for me it would be almost a $1000 less then what I would have to pay in Tax

The 'C' idea was my interpretation and I thought at the time that it might be a little tricky to scribe a straight line. I'd probably do it with v-blocks and something that would set a constant depth for a scribe. It'd be good if the grinder also had something to set depth. I have visions of a meandering or slightly spiraled cut so the pipe wouldn't go on the blade or one so sloppy that it won't tighten. Tight would be good because it might be useful to back-grade.<br>

Over all I think the pipe is the best solution I've heard of for using a loader on unfrozen gravel. Some combination of pipe diameter and bucket angle should work pretty well for most loaders and gravel surfaces, except maybe those where a bunch of larger aggregate and no finings were used (they never compact). <br>

I think the pipe may not dig in but it still would pick up some loose material. If the drives don't stay frozen and there's a lot of loose material it could be a problem and deserves some more thought. I think a rear blade that can be flatted into a more of a drag than a cutter also works. The blade can be angled so snow is pushed off one end but it would pick up loose material too. I wonder what other people in the area use. Down-pressure requires riding the loader controls if there are bumps of hills in the drive.<br>

Has anyone come across the new TZA series? The TZ18DA and TZ24DA? Looks like they're aimed squarely at the BX from Kubota. I'm considering a BX1500 or BX1800 but the TZA's certainly "look" the part and the spec sheets are also impressive. I like the 7.9 gal. fuel tank. Anyone have any idea on pricing, availability, etc.? I have a feeling all the Kubota/NH dealers out there will be wondering which one to promote? Will it come down to price? I'm sure that both will perform and do the job. Since they are NEW, does anyone think that a few bugs may need to be worked out? i.e. wait till second year of production or would they use major components from the TC?

Don't attach anything extraneous between the lift arms and the toplink hinge plate or the toplink assembly. First, you would be disrupting the dynamics of the 3PH and transferring weight from the load-bearing lift arms to the weakest part of the hitch. Second, there is a known issue with the Toplink hinge plate attachment and you could possibly void your warranty on the plate assembly, tranny, and rockshaft. Use tape or paint on the PTO drive shafts of your PTO equipment, and practice with the ground engaging stuff. You'll get beter.

circleh, if you look at picture #20 I have posted a picture of the hydraulic hose layout on my L245. You will need to buy some hydraulic fittings for the FEL hyd. lines to tap into for a pressure and return as well as the hydraulic fitting/hyd. system tap in block if your tractor does not have one. Sorry about the picture quality of the FEL hyd hose set up but that is all I the pics I have left. It is located immediately below the operators seat just below lower rate adjustment valve for the 3 pt. hitch. I still have the hydraulic diverter block for removing the FEL. If you are interested in it let me know. I paid $60 for it. I'll let it go for $30. On these tractors, if you remmove the FEL, you MUST install the hyd. diverter block or you will take a bath in hyd oil at the very least and more likely blown out seals in the hyd. system or pump. Be advised that the L245's are EXTREMELY nose heavy and light on the rear tires with the FEL installed and REQUIRE generous rear ballast. Ask me how I know. ;-) Anyhow, hope this gets you where you are working to get.

You will be fine with a 2210 for your property and maintenance work. The engine displacement between the two is identical and you will pay between $2,000 and $3,000 more for a similarly equipped 4110. Your next step up to a 4110 gains you stronger/faster hydraulics, greater weight and stability, better functions(position control) and height with the 3PH, bigger tires and wheels, and a more comfortable seat suspension.

Excellent points, Cheif. I'm not certain whether the seal in my 62C is designed to hold its integrity under the ambient level of lubricant at all times. I will take a gander when I get a chance, but if the seal is constantly submerged when the deck is horizontal, it shouldn't know the difference when turned to the vertical position. Worthy of investigation either way.<br>

Definately beats the hell out of my crappy old half worthless walk behind! Who ever it was that told me Tehcumseh engines were great should be roasted over a spit!<br>

Oilbaron, Where at in Charleston did you buy your BX23? That's an excellent deal. I live in Southern MD and own property in Eastern Ohio....near Wheeling WVa. I'd be willing to travel to Charleston for that price. It did include the backhoe? I have the BX 2200 now but wabt the backhoe for use on my property.

The hydraulic top link makes a huge differance when boxblading.
Once you try one you will throw the manual screw top link away.
You can tilt the blade ahead for cutting off the high spots and tilt the box back to level in the low areas.All while on the go and never leaving the seat.
I also us mine for mowing heavy brush,I tilt the back of the cutter up ,back into the brush and lower the rear of the cutter down .This way I can mulch up heavy brush areas without scratching all the paint off my tractor.

All right guys the 7610 starts at 11,900. Now how many do we need? our first shipments will be right after the first of the year for sure but we do have some theat are scheduled yet for Dec/Jan. It takes the same mowers and loaders as the 7510/7500.
