Gary I've got shop manuals on the WD an newer tractors but honestly I'm not sure if they used the same extermal control valve or not?? Mine has adjustments for the front mounted cultivator an also a screw in valve for rate of drop on the two seperate lines which when using the cultivator you actually turn the one cylinder around an it lifts the front before the rear, There are diffrent linkages you have to switch for use on diffrent imps. Does the WC have the Traction Booster on it? If not I'm almost sure they are diffrent. But if I can be of any help I'll let me know Getrdun.

I talked with Justin at Antietam, but he was not very forth coming with information. If I didn't ask a question he just stood there looking at me. I explained I was a first time buyer and yet I really had to pry for feedback. He only really wanted to show me the 7800 which is a nice tractor. Didn't want to talk at all about NH. Said the NH CUTs were just to much more money and that NH didn't really compete until you got into the bigger tractors. So I am still out looking for now.

Hey ,we even have fuel can POLICE in NY /law having the establishment inspect the container prior to filling,never seen it done ,however I doubt that a min wage kid is going to care. Law was most likly passed to give some patronage job to someone, COMMISSIONER of "RUBBERMAID" Its amazing to have a politian that is FULL of GAS inspecting GAS CANS !!!!!!!!

I use salad oil in a 2 gal poly sprayer and when I have time coat the bucket with a heavy COAT of car wax. made nice blocks of snow for the kids snow fort with the bucket !!!! Wax works great for the box blade too/pusher.

You could use Northern Tools as a reference. They have many different types of generators. I checked tractor supply but I have only seen gasoline versions there. I wanted to get one to run at the least my well pump and maybe a few other small things. I was looking at Sears for one rate at 10,000 watts. Would that be big enough?

I believe the fuel flow should be vertical for fuel flow and horizontal is the off position. As far as the hose, if it is the one I am thinking about, it is suppose to go down and vent out by the opening where the oil filter is.
Is that correct Art?

I'm looking at a Kubota L3830 GST with R4 tires , LA723 front end loader , Kubota triple hydraulic remotes on the back , Kubota top & tilt kit and a Landpride 72" box blade with hydraulic shanks. Box blade model# HRL3572. The price I have is $23,150.00 Is this price good or bad?

I got a 445 Long tractor and have no brakes on the left side. I have took off the inspection plate and see nothing wrong. The thing thai cant figer out is how to adjust the brahe other than on the linkage rod. It is exrended to full length. Theres got to be a place to tighten the bande but i can fine it. any help Russ Redrick

Just got a price for a new BX1500-54 with GCK60-15BX grass catcher and rear mount snow blower for 10940. Dealer wants 8600.00 for the tractor with 54" MMM only. <br>
Seem reasonable? I'm in the Buffalo NY area but would be willing to travel a distance and pick up myself. <br>
Anyone have any positive or negative personal experiences with the BX1500? I only have 1.1 acre, I will do some landscaping but will use mainly for cutting grass, picking up tonnes of leaves in Autumn and clearing a 100 ft. L shaped brick driveway. <br>

Hi I just got a d1600 Mitsubishi tractor and it has a KE85 engine in it. The other day I was checking the oil and it looks like it needs to be changed I was hoping someone could tell me what oil filter do I use. Thanks alot.

Thermometer readings through the rad fill aren't the same as right at the sensor but that reading sounds low even given some inaccuracy. That's quite a bit below most normal operating temperatures and a normally working gauge may well not come off the peg but somebody who knows the tractor might know.

I'm with Peters, it sounds like a bad thermostat. My Ford behaved exactly the same way, although heavy work on a hot day would warm it up. I replaced the thermostat and now the temp comes into the operating range at idle. It also smokes less when doing light work and that's good for the engine. An oil change might be good.

In my case I think the problem may have been that somebody installed the gasket on the wrong side of the thermostat rather than the thermostat itself but thermostats aren't expensive enough to worry about much. If the thermostat is opening you probably can see the water circulating through the cap (remove it when the engine is cold). If it's closed the top hose won't get warm because there's little circulation through it. There is a small bypass on many systems but it doesn't go through the rad.

I'm sort of spoiled for that kind of work since I have a 3ph-forklift with hydraulic carriage tilt and that's the work it's designed for. I know I'm writing more than you can read but there are things I think are worth saying. Be aware that going up and down hills could dump the load--on somebody, against a building or onto the tractor etc. so take it easy. Be especially careful if there are any hills to go up since weight will transfer back and there may be no steering if there's not enough weight in front. It's easy to upset pallets when running forks under them and also when getting pallets off the forks. It can take a bunch of angle tinkering so give yourself plenty of time.

I assume the forks have adjustable widths so they can go though the pallet notches you won't be able to run forks under the pallets otherwise. However, depending on the ground the pallets are on there may be trouble running the forks under the pallets. There's not a lot of clearance between the forks and notches. That's the tinkering it takes and you only have lift height, side-leveler and top-link to play with. The fork tips may dig in or they may go in part way and then tend to upset the pallet. If the ground where the pallets will be placed is different than where they were sitting the forks may be locked under the pallets and it takes the some sort of angle tinkering to get the forks loose. When I get forks under a pallet they're usually angled down a bit. To pick it up I tilt the carriage back so the load rests against the backrest before lifting, which make it more stable for transport. If that's worthwhile doing, it'd have to be done with the top-link.
