TerryNY2, have you checked with Miller Tire. They carry a large variety of turf tires and may be able to match the height tire you need. Maybe even some golf cart tires might work. I got a set for my F-525 that works fine. Just have to look at what ply rating you require. You may be able to find a tire distributor and get them to find a match for what you need locally as well.

When I paid off the Sea Ray, I got the same thing in the mail. USAA who had financed it had filed a lien and released it when paid off. Guess they are just trying to cover their bets. What is weird is that I did not get anything like that when I paid off the John Deere. Go figure.

In this case, tractors don't have titles like automobiles and realestate. If the tractors were not owned by the current owner free and clear; (i.e. no outstanding balance from the original sales contract) definitely sounds like a mess not worth getting involved with.

tdownin1, the X595 is a mighty expensive garden tractor. A good deal on one with a diesel & 62" mower would in the $10,800 range. Figure around $900 more for the 7 bushel hopper set up. Figure around another $2,900 for a 45 loader and ballast box. The X595 is the top of the line for the green garden tractors and is a damn nice tractor with about every concievable bell and whistle. If the price does not bother you and you want a smaller in size, it is the big ka hoonha. You can be more tractor for the same of less money but bigger tractors. The BX 2200 & 1500 are roughly comparable more the 2200. Look on the Kubota and John Deere web sites and compare features and look at the pricing. You would be wise to go and demo both color tractors before buying and make a head to head comparison. Then go with the one that suits your needs and wallet best.

I received the Rankin 3ph pallet forks with iMatch modifications a couple of weeks ago and just got around to trying them today. And... they don't fit. It seems as if Rankin modified them for pin spacing, which seems correct, but they neglected to actually try them before shipping them.<br>

The iMatch quick-attach hitch has two swivel-out brackets that lock the bottom implement pins in place. However, the Rankin forks have supports that hit the iMatch swivel-out brackets, preventing the bottom pins from slipping into the hooks.<br>

So, if you are shopping for iMatch compatible implements let this be a heads-up that you may want to try before you buy.<br>

I'm not sure yet what we're gonna do about this but I'm sure the dealer will make it right.

I don't have the actual weights on Kubota loaders but a similar size Deere loader weighs about 800 pounds and loaded 16 inch tires weigh about 200# each.

So 1200# plus your base weight of 1741# will put you so close to 3000 total that the difference is negligible.

Knock on wood!!! I've never seen a Bota broke with there loader on! There B-hoe units work fine on there tractors and there again they don't break.

If you're handy with a welder, or have access to someone who is, you could make up a base plate with an upright to which the tail wheel bracket could be chained.

For that matter you could make a wooden crate from 2x4's which it could be kept in for the winter.

I agree, a few hundred pounds of anything would not be the safest thing to just lean against a wall without adequate restraints.

On the headphones many of my customers with older tractors with out the cabs are running them. They do help keep out the noise and I've been told by them that when something is going wrong they can hear it better. Unlike cars many tractors govoners are set up to keep the tractor at the rated pto speed with a hot spot on that speed. I would think for what I've seen when playing on the dyno that it might not even be able to recognize it.

I just talked to the service tech, he said to check the pressure and adjust the pressure relief valve. There is a seperate pump for it and said they have not had one that went bad yet. He said it might be alright to adjust it by about a 1/4 turn since I don't have a hydraulic pressure gauge.
