anyone on here ever own a new holland 1920 4x4? can you give me some info good and bad.1999 model

FYI, In New Hampshire, I was just quoted $18,355 for a BX2230, 211FEL, 54" MMM, GCK60-BX grass catcher w/boot kit, BX2750A Snow thrower w/hitch and a Del Morino URT96E Tiller (allows offset tilling).

Believe me that Kubota doesn't pay for milage on warrantee. The early BX's had a campaign for fuel tanks and haven't seen a problem since, sorry to hear of your troubles.

I went with a Rhino 85 backhoe for my DK 35.
Seems to be very well built,works great,price was very good.
And the subframe and hoe came in an exact color match to my Kioti.

Thanks, Chief. I don't think that's the one but it might be. It doesn't look like Precision Metal Forming has stock parts they sell and the chipper doc lists PMF parts with part numbers. Jinma could have contracted PMF to make custom parts for them but that would contradict their claim that they are off-the-shelf parts. Specifically, some of the PMF parts are pulleys and Jinma says all the pulleys are off-the-shelf.

What kind of garden tractor did you have? What shortcomings did it have that caused you to want to replace it? Did you just sell it because it's old or something?

Chief, The thought of using a landscape rake has crossed my mind....more than once. I think it will boil down to trial & error.

I'd have a good idea by now what will work if my rear blade had come in...but it's only been 2 months since I ordered it. The box came in last week and it wasn't supposed to even be shipped until next month. I think between JD, Frontier & Woods they have a serious co-ordination problem.

We're definitely getting a large roller, probably with a vibrator, to compact the final grade. Now we're looking at getting a sprayer used for ag work and trying that to spray the asphalt emulsion. Might have to modify the nozzles. The stuff has the viscosity of diesel fuel.

Seems like this "simple" project has developed a life of its own.

Did anyone watch Realtree Outdoors this morning? They showed a section on food plots and demo'd this planter/tiller combo called the "Plot Master". Anyone ever use one of these or anything like it? By the way, sure was a nice tractor they had pulling it. ;-)

The YRB stands for Yanmar Rear Blade. This blade mounts on the three point hitch in the back. Yanmar did make a YFD240, Yanmar Front Dozer, that fit the 195 and the 240. But that has been discontinued for a long time. Someone out there may have one for sale. Perhaps they took off the dozer blade and put on a front end loader.

In addition to adding quick height and sometimes ameliorating the soil conditions, a very important function of the berm is sound reduction, which is why you often see it along roadways.

People frequently plant trees thinking they will cut down noise. From both my sound engineer present and from my past in landscape architecture, it doesn't work that way. Even a fairly dense planting only stops the highest frequencies; to really stop broad range noise you need mass and complete coverage.

For visual privacy, though, trees are a lot more attractive!

The problem is fully documented - I've reported it to two different dealers at least six times during service calls and the response is always that they couldn't hear it. And on the days those service calls took place the truck wasn't doing it. Then, when I picked the truck up, the noise would always resume. Very frustrating.

I looked into a backhoe when I start building. I talked with a man that rebuilt the hoes here in the south. He had vast experience with the hoes and claimed that the 555 was an excellent machine. He had given up rebiulding JD, Case etc. concentrating in the 555. The 655 were not quite as good, but I am not sure why now. I do not recall he said anything about the engine, I thought it was transmissions.
If you get an Heavy equipment trader for AL (MS, LA, GA) he normally has adds for 555 in it. Certainly worth a talk with him if you can find him.

I forgot to add that the dealer is going to deliver it on Monday less the rear mower, when the mower comes in they will deliver that too. If any of the equipment has a warranty issue, they will make a service call and if they can't resolve the problem, they will haul it both ways for free.

I am always breaking the cotter pins on the clean grain elevators does anybody have a solution to this how to fix so they do not break as often?<br>
The moniters keep buzzing only one I have replaced the swithch adjusted it and still buzzes any ideas, tried to bypass that did not work either how do you by pass 1 monitor.
