on the tc30 specs it says fwd(front wheel drive) i guessing that this would be 4 wheel drive also. *sos* sorry so stupid,never owned a tractor but have driven a few for small work.

Radio, from your description your needs were very similar to mine. I did alot of grading, put up alot of fence for horses, took down trees, spread 102 tons of stone in the driveway and moved many pallets of various weights off my trailer with forks. I have a TC33D with a 7308 loader R4s and hydro. I like the 33 over the larger 35,40,45 for several reasons. Size, for me the tractor fits better in my garage also the smaller tractor does not tear up the lawn even with the R4s. The loader has lifted everything I have needed up to 2000lbs (ballast is very important). The smaller tractor also fits in tight spots around the house and barn. If you plan on doing alot of loader work the hydro is great and very easy to use. My tractor has been awesome and the dealer has also been great. Welcome to the board and good luck. I think you must go actually try these tractors before you buy.

I owned a B7500 hydro with a loader and belly mower for nearly 3 years. It's a great little tractor. I recently traded up to a B2710 just this past summer, and not to take anything away from the quality of the B7500, but the B2710 seems like twice the tractor.

The only difference between the 2710 and the 2910 is the Hp rating and a few plush creature comforts. Size wise they are identical.

I would suggest to you that you should go ahead and buy the 2910. With 150 hours, it's just barely broke in, and will last you for many years to come. From my own personal experience, the stability characteristics of the 2 tractors seem similar but not identical... the 2710 (2910) seems to be a hair more stable.

One draw back with the B7500 is that when you put a good size implement on the back of it (say a brush hog) without the loader, the front end gets very light and steering control is greatly reduced. For a while I had a backhoe (about 1000 lbs.) on the B7500 and even with the loader attached I could easily pick the front end of the tractor of the ground with just a good heave-ho... made it very difficult to navigate the tractor on uneven, muddy, or sloped ground. I would suggest to you that the few added inches and pounds that the 2910 has over the 7500 will go a long way in stabilizing the tractor. The larger rear tires on the 2910 will greatly increase the smoothness of the ride when your in a really bumpy field as well.

V7cat.... just curious as to why you are trading/selling your 4115.

I consider the 2910 to be the same class of tractor as the 4115 with the exception of a little extra horse power.

Are you guys taking my name in vain?

I am VERY impressed with my 4115. Just the other day I was using it to spot my 5th wheel (4000 pounds) in a very tight parking space. I had to push it up a dirt slope, and over a couple of "speed bumps" and rocks that I was too lazy to move out of the way. I just figured I would use the 4wd and low range to grunt it out.

When I was done I noticed I had done the whole operation in 2wd. It never even slipped a wheel.

Somehow, the slightly increased weight over the 4100 Gear, coupled with the longer wheelbase and the HST, all come together to provide a noticeable increase in traction, drive-ability and "work-power".

$Mark, with 4 wheel steering, the wheels would only need to turn a fraction of what they turn on 2 wheel steering. But you're right the big tires would get in the way of the FEL. See, that's why I asked you guys!$ Mowing makes me think too much
