You need a little more voltage than you normally get out of an arc welder (70 V) My electrified truck has 400 VAC on the body right now, but the current is limited to make it only painful and not lethal to an animial the size of a coyote, dog or me. A fence charger or a bug zapper will genuinely ruin Wiley's day and won't kill any neighbors, neighbors' pets, or you.

I took my H2 in to replace a part that wore out after a nut came loose on my Utah trip. The mechanic said my "emergency repair" was fine and did nothing. I took it back to the same dealer the next day and showed the Service Manage the problem and asked if that was his idea of proper service. After a little discussion, they are doing a warranty service on the worn out part.

I got a call from the survey folks. Gave the full and accurate story. Got a call later from the dealer. They do hear about these things. Don't let them put some guilt trip on you. If they do a good job, then say so, but if they screw up, you should say so also. I seem to remember on the survey that I took that there were clearly areas that differentiated between vehicle satisfaction and service department satisfaction.

They make a nice PTO generator for that one if you ever need one in the future. You would need to add the PTO but its just a dealer bolt on kit. I know a lot of guys find the cultivator/tiller very usefull for landscapeing. I use mine sometiomes to loosen the soil before I move it with the FEL. The first time you use the loader you are going to be a happy camper err uh I mean hard at work. :) Enjoy. Dave

I think the old style yamaha kit I was looking at with all of the frame pieces was 350 ish and the block type was 275 ?? The other on line store that has parts is golfcarcatalogdotcom. When you buy the lift kit with tires and rims thery discount 10%. The lift with steel wheels and the biggest tyires is like 575. Art are you guys selling the club car buggies ? how much do those puppys cost ? Dave

They do and you have several coming from them out to 24 months. It is important to be honest and not to exaggerate on them unless you really dislike your dealer. They do rate us from your responses and they are on a curve.

Chief - they had the father/son on the local radio station here a few months back. During the interview, the topic of the prices of their bikes came up. Paul Sr. said there were getting up to $250K for some of the corporate purchases. Me thinks it may be time for a career change!

I have a small antifreeze leak on my TC45. I have not found where it is coming from. My tractor is due for the 50 hour service, so I will let you know what I hear after they take a look at it.

I have just been keeping the radiator and reservoir topped off with fluid, but it is still annoying. I have lost not more than half a gallon of fluid in 50 hours, but I do occasionally see droplets on the floor.

Lifting it, SURE !!

Carrying it, probably a VERY different story ....

You will probably have a better shot at carrying it on a 3pth platform of forks.

Worst case scenario is that you have to cut it into smaller pieces.

I have nearly cut through a strap while towing a tractor when the strap came in contact with a square edge on the FEL and rubbed.

I haven't quit using straps because of that but I am more careful about where I route them and cushion the strap with a piece of rubber mat if there is any doubt.

I would be surprised to see Bombardier form a partnership like that, they already have a huge dealer network and with the addition of Evinrude it got even bigger.

I could see JD trying to make a deal to buy their drivetrain from Bombarier though, and I know mJD are spending some R&D money to develop some new specialty vehicles for the utility market.

Can't help with a source for the pump. The problem described sounds like it might be a seal. There's a chance that the seals are fairly generic and could be repaired easily. You might have a nearby dealer or hydraulic shop take a look at the pump.

Generally truckers do not determine the amount of yards by measuring their boxes. They can tell you how many yards they can haul and stay legal usually it will not be close to the full box.

Loads by the yard are figured at the loader by the size of the bucket. Buckets are sized by the yard. Look at your loader specs and you'll find cubic ft. And generally buying by the yard you will always get get more, loader operators like a nice rounded up bucket.

Usually the loader operator, if experienced, can nail a load very close to weight and yards. The problem with weight is moisture content.

But here a yard of gravel is about 1.5 ton (moisture). Crusher run is 2 ton to the yard.

10 yards (15 ton) of gravel is not a very big pile. Actually it looks very small unless you have to move it with a wheelbarrow and shovel.

If you're still on good terms with the dealer maybe they will let you take a different one home to compare against. Maybe yours is just a lemon or maybe the tractor is just not up to your expectations. You sound really unhappy with it so if you can get your money back you'd probably be better off - otherwise every problem will be like pouring salt into an open wound.

My fel was a little scrapped up too. I did just ask for a can of spray paint to touch it up. If I remember right they are made in holland and shipped here, either way they travel on pallets and trucks. No biggie. After you do a single project you will see why no one worries too much about this. Mine has 50 hours and I just repainted the bucket because it was 60% bare metal. Dave

Most of the B&B I have seen are cedar or cypress. I would think there would be a rough cut mini-mill in your area with cedar? Green oak will last better than the pine, but can be tough to nail and will not last as long as the cedar in the weather.
