Weight ratings often are defined as 'weight centered 2' behind the lower link pins. There's a good change that the weight of the bales is further from the pins than 2'.<br>

I think my 3ph will lift more than its rating but the rating is as much a safety thing regarding stability than a physical limitation. My 3ph forklift will lift higher than the 3ph and when I've had big weight on it I've had to run max rpm's to get appreciable lift speed out of the 3ph. Increasing the rpm night help the lift or making sure the bales are as far forward as possible.<br>

I don't think any compact handles those big bales very well. They are awkward as well as heavy. The 3ph likely would manage them better than anything on a loader and I wouldn't want that much weight very high on a compact anyway. A loader is going to run into the same rating capacity definition thing because the bale would end up further ahead of the boom arms than a bucket would be. Very heavy 3ph ballast would be needed.<br>

I'm tempted to say that something like my forklift might manage them. It will out lift the 3ph and also lift more than 5'. That may not be a great solution since the forklift weighs 650 lbs. itself. It is a CATII implement and maybe a lighter one could be found. Don't know! I be reluctant to put more weight on the axles than the 3ph rating frequently. the previous owner of my Ford 1710 traded it in on a farm tractor because he started getting big bales and the 1710 couldn't manage them easily. Something like a stoneboat might manage but would be a pain.<br>

I forgot about 3ph weight. When I'm doing heavy loader work, my 750-lbs. box scraper is almost always on and if not then a 3ph forklift that's almost as heavy is. I guess it's more of a permanent solution for me. I don't think some of these mid-80's PS systems were designed for tractors equipped with loaders and turf tires, but my PS may not be working quite up to par either.

Just guessing here: Have you went thru "ALL" of your operator present switches? There are a couple under the seat. The seat belt switches? There is a module way down under the seat that usually bothers the ones we have at work.

The safety features are a real night mare on the new skid steers but manufactures have to install them to protect Darwin awards type people from doing stupid stuff.

I just bought the BX22 and love it. The research I did suggests that the backhoe is not an option for the Deere. The BX2200 does not have the option for a backhoe either. The enginneering on beefing up the frame on the BX22 is impressive. I think the loader specs are under rated from what I have used it for (very strong setup). Considering the package price and the great financing options I would strongly recommend considering the BX22. I went with the 5 year 2.99%. Not as good as the 3 year 0%, but still is cheap money.And as mentioned in a previous message there are mulching blades available for the mmm deck.

Yeah those are nice. the ones I heard of and didn't like are the ones thta turn the two stems into one stem. Sounds good, you fill/empty both the tires at once but on the other hand if the valve goes so do both tires.

I now run at about 42 lbs. and with up to 2500 (50 bales) in the bed the tires don't rub. I use to be real concerned and was always upping pressure for loads but unless I go real heavy with a bed full of material or high speed hauling I leave em if I run more pressure unloaded they wear uneven.

Your idea is good though and I really should pick some up. It is no fun fishing for that stem in the frigid temps :)

Sound to me like you may have inadvertantly gotten water in your hyd. oil either through condensation or other means....... been playing in any water lately? I the remedy is drain and flush with filter replacement. Or at least drain the bad oil and replace with new and new filters. Check the suction screen as well.

I didn't read the TSB on Chiefs Dodge untill after I made my last post. Thats gotta be a bummer. My whole point is/was that when I buy a new car I do not go back to the dealer for filters or oil. I changed the trans fluid in my Suburban at 30,000 miles and used a Pioneer filter and Castrol Dextron III fluid. I do expect the warranty to be valid. On the other hand I was in a tizzy when I could not find Super UDT for my BX22. No specification was given for a replacement and I was not going to take a chance of possible damage. I guess it all depends how much risk and exposure to aggravation a person is willing to accept. At 117 hours I have Rotella 15-40 and a Wix filter on my engine. The trans has Super UDT and a Kubota filter. Call me nuts, I'm comfortable with it :-)

You can get the stationary valve for a Kubota and it mounts on the fender. It is listed for cab tractors. There are uses of tractors that you don't want anything extra hanging, bolted, or supported away from the tractor for damage. Kubota uses valves for the rear like the big farm tractors.

I spent endless hours researching and "test using" Mahindra's Century's JD's Kubota's.

The CUT I ended up purchasing was the Scorpion T450. It is a TYM machine. I have a FEL that came with, a H&S trailer/wagon and a BushHog SQ600 that I cut with. I love this tractor!! As a matter of fact, I just got done painting my BushHog the dark gray the Scorpion is! Looks great!! I purchased this tractor (FEL included) for $16600.00 and I am so-o happy with it.

I have acquired a Hinomoto MB 1500 and want to know if there was ever a grass-cutting attachment for this tractor, as the wierd two shaft PTO will not power an ordinary deck. I have a small plough and rotovator, but desparately need to cut my grass! Also, does anybody know the years that this model was manufactured, it was retailed in France.
