I have a King Kutter and it does the job a nd I have 3 acres to take of. It is notworth the money to buy one more costly. They stand behind them.and if it breakes down in 3 years buy a new one and you ar still money ahead.

I am having the hydraulic hose above the mid-PTO replaced this week under warranty since it was so worn. They will also reroute it to avoid that problem in the future. Maybe you don't have a midmount mower but if you do I would check the pipe above it just to be sure.

My opinion you did zero damage. Your dealer is right you had some on the dipstick. Maybe if you ran it for hours and hours is high heat but I still doubt it. I will probably get fried for this one---but change your hydro fluid and filter the first 50hrs. And CAREFULLY clean the crap off the pick-up screen. The Deere manual does not suggest a 50hr. service but TWO shops I called do recommend it.

If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for your Kubota and how was it equiped? I am not a dealer, but will also be purchasing a tractor soon myself to use on my 40 acre farm in SW Missouri. I just purchased the land, so it's all new to me!!!! Thanks, Sam

The only thing I would like to add is its REALLY nice to have a hydrostat that you can disengage. Multiple times I have had to drag a little rider mower around the farm (with the wheels not turning) because it won't start or something. The Boomer can be put in neutral and towed.<br>Dennis

I have a horrible problem with water when it rains in low areas around the barn and super soaked paths in pasture. I need to dig a pretty long trench (and it may have to be kinda deep in places) to lay drain run-off pipes. Landscapers: This should solve most of the problem, right? Everyone: What should I use to dig? Subsoiler? Middle-buster? Bucket loader? Only have a TC25, so nothing super powered. Suggestions very welcomed.<br>Thanks

It has 4wd, power-steering, decent tires, a Westendorf (?) loader, original paint (not that this matters, just a sign that it wasn't beat up). I don't know what other options were possible. It sat in the weather a bit by the looks of the tires, but besides a bit of faded paint, its in factory condition. <br>I paid 10750 in Fort Worth, TX. Not bragging, just really excited and wanted to share the good news. If you want to burst my bubble by telling me I paid too much, then do so kindly please. :)<br>It starts, purs, and works great. Already moved about 30 yards of dirt.

Anyone out there use a moldboard plow on the B series Kubota? Just put a deposit on a new B2100 HST and it should be delivered in about 5 days. I have about 2 acres of old hay field that I want to put into grass. The field is very rocky with very large rocks so I thought I should maybe plow it first then rent a roto-tiller to finish it and then use a rock rake. Don't know what size <br>plow and dealer never sold a single bottom plow for a B2100. The tractor is coming wiht turf tires will it pull a 16 inch plow? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My #3 cylinder fuel line has sprung a leak. I removed the line and the fuel is leaking on the injector side of the line where the nipple is pressed onto the actual line material. My question is can it be braized or sealed or is this a pressed/crimped type of line ? My other dilemma is no local Mitsubishi dealer in the area (Upstate NY - Binghamton.) Can anybody guide me in the right direction ??? Thanks TED

I think you will find its tractor Hyd Fluid. the new spec. is J20A In the Mobil oil line its called Mobilfluid 424 its a tractor hyd 10w-30 multi use oil. hope this helps

I have had many problems that have the dealer befuddled because of how new the tractor is. I did learn that Deere is pulling in all the 4400HST (and 4300?) to replace a washer in the transmission. It entails pulling the rear axles and is very labor intensive. something to do with a subgrade metal by a submanufacturer. <br> You say you are going to be using your tractor for landscaping and mowing, you should consider a hydro. If the tractor appears to have been well kept - buy it. <br>The issue more often than not is that there are a lot of abused machines<br>out there in the used market. If you have found something that fits <br>how you will keep your, go for it. That doesn't seem like a bad price, considering the equipment<br>that is with it.

I'm learning self-maintenance of my 4100 and am hoping someone can help. When lubricating the grease zerks (?), such as the tie rods and turn brake pedals, I stop applying grease when it starts oozing out of the ends or joints. But when greasing the front axle pivot pin, no grease seems to ooze out anywhere even after five pumps of grease. I can't see anyplace where grease should ooze out and am concerned about putting too much in. Thanks in advance for your help. JonB
