Bought a E2304 and the lift doesn't seem to want to go down - can any body help me with this? Also, I need a source for filters and parts - any ideas? Thanks, Mike D

I have a chance to buy a Zetor 3320 with a 5 ft Loader for 10,000 with 300 hours. I cannot find much all the information I want on this tractor. Can you tell me the closest dealer to Augusta Georgia, or Evans, Ga at 30809

TC29 had the same problem, ate the paint off the steel under/around the battery on my SS model. Is it due to a poor quality OEM battery or some other malfunction, don't know but I do like the battery box idea. If the problem turns out to be leakage due to a defect, I would put the new one you receive with your warranty repair in a box expecting the same thing to happen judging by the number of observations of this problem in N/H tractors.

Thanks for all the advice and support. (I'm currently working with the site admin on my account name change and am pursuing a premium membership so I can read longer messages.) I might then post pictures of the hills that I'm leery of. I don't know how steep they are but they are grass covered with a pond at the very bottom. Tire tracks show where some brave sole went up and down, as well as, across the hills before. It's probably a piece of cake for some but being new at this, it's just hard to judge how safe the conditions really are. Thanks again.

PeterH You can do it no problem.

1 remove the deck plate your feet rest on. I've found you can get a finget under the carriage bolt to remove and stick a piece of duct tape on it to hold it in place when you reinstall.

2 remove the 2- 1/2X8" bolts that hold the back plate on it has the little rubber bumpers on it.

3 You manifold fittings are exposed. seems like a 15/16 and a 1&1/8 open end are what you need.

I was looking at a Rhino Backhoe for my TC33D. I was surprised that there was no place to have a draw bar on when the backhoe in unhitched. Is this common with other brands? www.servis-rhino.com

They had a model 75 for $4400 and $5300 for the model 85. Should there be anything that I should be concerned about?

The original backhoe that came on the 646 was made by Davis, model number D100. The Backhoe units were called a 646 series B. Is yours a series B? I am trying to figure out what to do with mine. The rear is out of it now, and I've been trying to figure out a way to put the backhoe on my tractor. I might sell it though if I am unable to mount it on my tractor.

I have a Bolens G244 tractor with an FEL and am trying to figure out a way to make the backhoe I just aquired work on it. The backhoe is from A case 646B, it is a Davis D100 BH. I know almost nothing about hydraulics. The FEL has a seperate front mounted pump. It only has two connections, pump and return. The BH has a pump, return, and power beyond line. My question to anyone who can help is how can I set this up to work with my system? Thanks to all who can help.

Most farm supply places will sell ultra-sonic rodent repellent devices. They are basically a small sound generator which produces sound waves in a frequency range which the little critters find very unpleasant. They generally run on 110v. but use so little power that an inverter with a decent battery would power one for some time without recharging. Besides, they smell better than Mothballs, phew!!

We use similar devices in the hangar and equipment sheds with great success.

That sounds like a very reasonable deal to me. Depending on the year and condition of the tractor alone, its value could be around $14,000. The rest is gravy.

Assuming it is a 1977 model, around $1800; $1700 for a 1976 model. I am not sure what an L1200 loader would go for; that is pretty subjective as to the condition it is in. Maybe anywhere from $250 to $750 would be my guess......more like a swag.

Many transmissions will have a rattle at different points. It most often happens with straight cut gears in a lot of the older transmissions. With the transmission being at a point of about to shift ranges there might be two gears that might be causing it. Many times these rattles are found when the tractors are idling below the recommended idle speed and to increase it to the correct idle speed will illiminate it.

The Woods company does make loaders for some of the manufacturers but not many. I would question the hook-up for a backhoe as to the type of hook-up on the tractor. The other part is read the warrantee on the tractor if it is still under warrantee that might make a difference.
