Thanks again WillieH.,I ordered a set for the backhoe to try them out. The dollie for the tiller is already in the works it's a custom fit but is't 10" high, I might have to get smaller wheels. I'll probably get a set for the plow too.

I don't know where in NY you are, but I got my best price by far on JD at KC Canary in Fultonville NY. Check with Mark - great people. If you can afford 8 large a year, the zero % is a good deal.

At first I was a little cool to the idea, probably because I have become rather comfortable with the functionality of this site, the search feature especially is very useful, cheers Dennis.

Now however, after some more pondering I think maybe it is a very good idea. In fact the deciding factor was a comment Bernie made, it made me realize something we 'long time in the seat' folks take for granted may not occur to even experienced occaisional users, it would be better we make it known sooner rather than later, especially if 'later' was too late.

If we could prevent one accident, even if only a minor 'oopsey', it would be worth the time and effort, after all, safety is NOT something you want to learn from experience.

I personally don't mind spending a little time on educating folks, in fact I get more than a few direct emails from members looking for advice or an opinion on something or another. I always promptly and cheerfully reply. I don't want to speak out of turn but from what I have seen most of us 'elders' seem to feel the same way, Tom, my northern neighbour for example, didn't get to 3000+ posts by being shy or secretive.

Yes Kioti Owners/dealers will admit to having some minor problems with their equipment, unlike some owners/sellers of some other brands of tractors :)
Also Kioti's are selling well and we will be hearing about more glitches as the Kioti population increases. All in all I believe they are as good as any of the big 3 models and possibly a bit better than some. Time will tell.

Hub City used to make the PTO reverser for about $500 but they discontinued it. I actually have a Hub City catalog that shows it. I've been looking for a used reverser for years, but haven't found one that is reasonably priced. I'v been lucky to find original implements for my B6000 and my B6000E. My B6000E has a front-end loader and a Woods RM42KB 3 point hitch mower. My B6000E has a Woods 304K 48" belly mower and an S850 tiller. All these implements were specifically designed for the B6000/B6000E. Other implements made for these tractors include a snow blower, post hole digger, and front dozer blade.

I have a 4310 ehydro and the 72" Mid mount. I have mine in the middle hole and the front mount was a snap to just set in the slots and rotate it into place using the little handle attached to it.Took me about half an hour to mount the mower. At first I had the forward links in the front hole and the tires rubbed on the deck with it in the center hole things are much better.

The front blade for a Kubota B6000 is a Kubota model KUFD110. I have the owners manual, but I don't actually have the blade on my B6000 or my B6000E. The owners manual for the KUFD110 is for sale on eBay right now.

The Woods belly mower for a Kubota B6000E is a model 304K. It is a 48" mower with 3 blades that are run from one long belt that goes to an electric clutch mounted to the crankshaft pulley. I have a 304K belly moweer on my B6000E. I also have a Woods RM42KB for my Kubota B6000 (4 wheel drive). I bought the 304K belly mower from West Kentucky Tractor Parts (1 800 564-0567). I have an owners manual for the 304K and for the RM42KB. Send me an E Mail if you have any B6000 questions.

Larry - Sorry it took rolling your tractor to make many of us aware of this issue. I tested my JD4400 on the flat and level yesterday, and it sure seemed pretty easy to knock the range shift lever into neutral and start freewheeling. Easy enough such that I wasn't even interested in doing the test while pulling a wagon up a hill. Thanks Art and Murf for the quick fix!

I think you will be extremely pleased with your purchase. Curious after you get some experience the difference between the Branson and your NH. I know there's more power and weight, but how much more capable is it?

Then I guess Chief & I are making the correct recommendation, just depends on the budget. I know what that's about. I would have loved a 4610/hydro but couldn't afford it. I ended up with a Century 3045. Same 48 HP Yanmar four diesel engine as the 4710, 12x12 shuttle, but about $7K less. In most cases getting the most power in a frame size that is suitable for your needs is the best option. There are exceptions. The JD 4410 is priced much higher than the 4310, same with Kubota 3130 and 3430 for a limited benefit. So many trade up, yet have you ever heard of someone trading a 4710 for a 4510 because they had too much power or didn't want the hydro? JMHO

that tractor has a magneto .....and a rectifier on the dash......it's very expensive to fix......i mounted an alternator from a 1988 mazda b2200 p/u on mine...and it works fine .....the bolt holes lin up and everything

it you want to know how to hook it up let me know and i'll draw you a wiring diagram....

by the way the magneto is the thing with the fan attached and it has three wire comming out...( looks like a water pump) but this tractor does not have a water pump..
