I have a Kubota B2710 with loader, no backhoe. I've only tried to pull two stumps and gave up on both. I tried pushing and digging with the loader but neither stump would budge. One was about a 6 inch honey locust stump about a foot tall, the other a bois'darc about 10 inches in diameter and only about a foot tall. Power is not a problem, but all four wheels spin and I get nowhere. I didn't spend a whole lot of time on this, I just assumed I needed a bigger tractor for such chores. I don't have any ballast in the tires. Just a 5 foot cutter on the back.

How do you get stumps out

I own a model 728 aarps backhoe (3ph) and up until today have been pleased with the performance. Very strong for a 3 point hitch mounted unit. I have had little success finding a dealer or anyone who could help me with parts etc... for the aarps units. Mine quit working today and I fear I will not be able to find or rebuild the hydraulic pump or controller on my unit. Yours sounds like a good price compared to a new bradco or kelley but you may want to check into parts availability... Good Luck

I would go for the R1 tires and have a set of chains made all the way around.<br> A bald tire plus chains will beat any lug tire. Yes, the liquid has a lower CG. Not by much....a couple of <br>inches is typical. The CG of the weights is the center of the axle. The CG of<br>the fluid is where half the mass is above and below a horizontal plane. Since<br>tires are filled with an air space left at the top of the tire, the CG of the <br>liquid must be lower than the axle. <br> Good luck. These compacts make work into fun. I bought a Kelly B30FS backhoe from my neighbor. It was on a Ford 1600 and a subframe was added for it. I am not sure which tractor I will use it on. I would like to know if anybody has one, what the weight is, what kind of tractor it is on. I am either going to use it on my Yanmar YM2500 or my father in laws Deutz 3006.<br> Hal Livengood

I am looking at buying an allis chalmers 5015 tractor .Can anyone give me any info on this model tractor( last year made,horsepower)I only know that it was not made in the U.S. The tractor is in very good condition,and has a grooming mower on back.Thanks.

If you have a 670,770,870,970 you need a frame added to the tractor that the frame of <br>the backhoe will hookto it is shown in the owners manual these tractors have no frame<br>of their own but use the engine transmission as their frame if yo add a no. 7 without<br>it can crack the bellhousing. On the 55 series they hookup the way you say but<br>those tractors have a frame. On the back of your tractor on either side of the <br>pto shaft a bracket will be added that hooks a cross bar of the frame on the backhoe<br>I am going to go ahead and buy the hole kit this week.bye bye money. I have brackets to fit a <br>955 for sale.

I would say 6,000 would be a fair price, you can buy a new 7300 with a loader for 10800. I just sold a B6100 with a tiller for 6000 and that was a fair price,

When using my Rhino SE5 rotary cutter and my B2710, I set the RPMS about 1300, push in the clutch and pull the lever to engage the PTO, then I let off the clutch slowly to engage. Then I bring up the RPMs to mowing speed. When I push in the clutch to disengage the PTO, and in fact disengage the lever and get off the tractor, the blades and PTO on the cutter are still freewheeling for a short time and slow down gradually. The cutter had that round thing in the middle with two blades that flop in the breeze, of course getting to the extended position by centrifugal force. I have not experienced any of those noises some of you are talking about.

To Bob Alaska, I own a B7300 bought new last year. The B7300 is an amazing do it all machine and I love it. From discussions with Kubota folks the B7300 is relatively new(of the new design with flat deck etc). Down here in the lower 48 they have been selling like gangbusters and therefore I suspect Kubota will be stocking parts for a while, and there may be a number of salvage units(in the future - although I don't think too many people really want to get rid of Kubotas unless they are moving up or dead).Good Luck.
