You spoke very little <br>about the Kubota dealer in your area, does that mean one does not exist? Can you view his stockroom? Are you able to <br>receive next day air of parts from either Canada or the Lower US? It is not really a <br>question of Kubota's availability, as it is your availability to Kubota.<br>For example:Scania (sp?) is the largest heavy truck manufacturer in the world, that does not automatically mean parts are<br>readily available in my area. If I was in your shoes, and found that Kubota's availability, or any Make for that matter was difficult<br>to come by, I would stay away from it. Regardless how good everyone else claimed it was.<br>Parts wear, then they break/bend,its inevitable over time. Is, in your case the Kubota really worth it if you have to pay Next/2nd day air<br>every thing you need something? I'm sure some someone would say YES! Is that guy you? Does anyone with a JD 4300 Sycro-Reverser Model have any problems with either the tractors Clutch or other major mechanical/electrical problems. I have a 4200 that has a major clutch problem and I am considering a trade up to a 4300. My dealer has a 4200 hydro on order for me for a replacement, but I would like to stay with a geared tractor if at all possible. Thanks for all responses.

I don't own a 33D, but my TC21D has a differential lock, and I'm 99% sure all Boomers do. It works well, I use it all the time. Even comes in handy in 4-wheel drive, for when 1 rear wheel gets off the ground over rough terrain. If you like the 33 as much as I like my 21, then you'll be happy with it.

Know of a one year old 5400 with cab AC/Heat with 540 loader and standard bucket, telescoping draft link, 8' woods mower and 8' box blade with hydraulic angle. This machine has 147 hours all mowing around the farm. This machine is CHERRY! Tractor being sold due to death of owner. This machine is 4wd with bar tires and has a pto hp of 60. The tractor is in central Illinois and is currently not being advertised except word of mouth. Approximately 36,000.00 will buy it. Those interested please respond.

After complaining about Deere, I feel I should let everyone know that my dealer has <br>agreed to take my tractor back and get me a hydro model, he also offered to get me a <br>970 if I preferred, but so far I have liked the 4300, except for the collar shift<br>. It seems part of our problem was a breakdown in communication.<br>I have my phone forwarded when I'm on the internet but apparently it's not working right<br>because he had been trying to reach me but couldn't get through.

I am wondering if running a Woods 1012 backhoe from a New Holland 1720 is better done from the tractor pump or the seperate pump that you can purchase.<br>Any thoughts please let me know.

I have a 4400 with 48 hoe. I too have had the enjoyment of ripping my hand when connecting the hydraulic hoses. My solution, though it added a wrench to the change over and two to three minutes, was to move the seat bracket from behind the hoe mount to infront. I had to reverse the mounting bolts. This gave me about 1 inch extra to fit my hand in. If I really want the space and make it easier I remove three of the bolts on the seat bracket and swing the seat out of the way. Though it it a pain to keep moving the bracket it allows my hands to fit in and switch between the hoe and the rocker arms hydraulics when needed.

I would be very cautious about draining them completely unless you have experience with the tractor or one similar on your terrain. One thing that might help a lot is to keep them half full, certainly no more than 3/4, as another poster said. If water comes out with the stem at the 12 o'clock position, there's your problem. Try jacking it up in the center until both rear wheels are off the ground, putting the stems at about 11 or 1 o'clock, or even 10 or 2, then draining whatever water water will come out. Then repressurize the tire to the minimum it needs to support the maximum load you're carrying. Contact a local dealer or the manufacturer of the tire for a load/pressure table, then figure out what the maximum rear axle weight will be including the heaviest implement you carry, devide by two, and pressurize the tire for that load. That's about the best you'll be able to do on that end. Everything else you can do will have to be on the seat/suspension end. (Unless you need new tires and are willing to look at the additional expense of radials.)

The deciding factor in my buying a Kubota was my previous dealings with the John Deere dealer. Prices were comparable but the JD dealer is dishonest an a**hole. P.S. the Kubota B2400 is a dream machine and I get the free pick up and delivery for all repairs and service.
