If the Machine is for you I think you will find your priorities are significantly different and a good tractor is a good investment that you can use till you are 80+.

Jd still makes the frame kit for a 770 but the cost is 950 plus tax and includes rear hyd <br>which i already have I can make the subframe and buy the rear mounts if i can see <br>how the frame mounts to the tractor. The 55 series has a built in frame on the tractor<br>so it is much easier and cheaper. I talked to jd about odering info on just the subframe<br>but all they have for sale is the no. 7 owners manual which i already have and it does not cover<br>this they said talk to a dealer for this info but unless a dealer has it in stock<br>(the hole kit) they dont have the paper work and no one has it in stock!!!!!<br>Any dealers out there want to help please????

The question isn't money. The price is okay. I bought my 2400 last fall. I have dug out seven 100 year old cedar stumps and graded 7/8 acre for a new residence. I think I've saved more than I have spent. The question you need to ask yourself is will I use it enough to pay for it. I have and I payed less than the J.D. dealer wanted for the green machine.

Keith, Draining your tires will make your tractor unstable. If you do loader work or have hilly terrain I would keep them filled and forget about the ride. Maybe a good shock-absorbing seat would help. If you do alot of finish mowing and only need weight sometimes you could drain the tires and build a weight-box for the 3-point when need some stability. This is kind of a give and take issue.

I need help from people with Kubota tractors about product support. I am looking at a new B7300 w/front end loader, rototiller, and brush hog to work large garden and maintian about 4 acre plus scaped area. While looking at new tractors (used are hard to come by in Alaska), the Ford (New Holland) & John Deere dealers have both commented that the Kubota may be hard to find parts for later on. They both quoted experiences with this probem, and were both previously Kubota dealers. They both mentioned that each others line (J.D. & Ford) were very good products, and wouldn't have the parts problem, although each respectivily was the best. I realize that they are the competition, salespersons, & and sound like a mutual admeration society. <br> My question is this; does the Kubota have a parts problem 5 years down the road? Do they continue to produce parts & support older models after they have been discontinued? Does anyone (and I supose this is the place to ask) have experience that could shed some light on this subject. It would certainly help me make a decission on which product to purchase. I do not mean to shed any bad light on Kubota, it is my first choice if support is equal or better than Ford/J.D.<br> Thanks

I think he (fastcars) is sayingg it is worth the extra money. The TC-with-the-D has them as standard, if not (in other words, the plain TC), it's worth the extra money.<br>

I have had a TC21D for about a month and am very pleased with the product. I did not get a loader with the tractor due to cash flow, but the dealer is coming today to pick it up to add the loader. The layout and operation of this machine is great. I looked at the same units your are considering and decided on the NH. <br>One item to note, the 21D does not have the deluxe 3 pt like the 25D which I think is an excellant feature. Also the NH literature lists the 21D as having 3 speed ranges, the same as the 25D but it only has 2. Before I got mine the dealer only had a 25D and a gear 21, so I was looking for that mid range that's not there. The high and low seem to be more than adequate. <br>I borrowed a back blade from my brother-in-law (a real farmer). He said he would let me use the little one. The little one turned out to be a very heavy duty 7' monster. The 21D has know problem dragging this up my drive with a load of gravel,in 2 wheel drive as the front tires are barely on the ground any why.<br>My wife loves this tractor and talks about how quiet it is.<br>Hope this information helps

then if theres a problem, deal with it later. On Sunday I sent an email to the dealer and to Deere, saying that I would like to either trade it back to them
for a different model, if they would give me full credit for it , or they could just plain take it back, other wise I was going to see about just trading
it in on a Kubota. It's now Wed. and I never got any kind of response to my email from the manager. His service dept did call this morning, they want to come pick
up the tractor( charging me $65 for that) and keep it for 2 weeks and see if they can find what if anything is wrong with it.

Thanks for your help. Was the battery connection...used a file on both the post and cable end, and replaced the nut and bolt...they were so corroded that neither a metric or standard wrench would fit...had to get the vise grips.

after looking at all the machines i just ordered(yesterday) a kuboata 4310 with the power shift <br>transmission. you can shift without the clutch but you dont loose the power as with the hydro. <br>hope your machine workds out.

I have a B2710 with only 23 hours. I can't imagine having to shift and clutch to go back and forth when mowing, plus using the loader. The L2500 looks like a fine tractor, but I cannot equate it to the B2710 with the HST. What little extra yield you might get from the PTO with gear is probably imperceptable, but the thousands of times you change directions in the tractors lifetime will easily be perceptable. The only justification I can see for going with the L2500 is that it is a good buy - a fine tractor for less money.<br>This opinion is on the basis of using the HST, and not having test driven the L2500. I have driven gear tractors tho, and really appreciate the HST. I considered a used L2350 (the predecessor to the 2500 I think) on the basis that I didn't need the HST. One test drive on the HST sold me and I didn't even drive the gear tractors.

I am looking for a front-end loader for my L245DTP. I am woundering what special attachments are needed and what the cost of such a rig would be. Currently the tractor has a plow on it with hydrolics and a sub-frame. Could this be used for the loader ?

I don't have one yet, but will one day. Here is another point that I think is up there with not having another motor - the motor on your generator (i.e. you tractor) is constantly being tested for availability when you need it!
