Use some good penetrating oil ( like aerokroil ) and keep soaking them for a few days. Heat will also help, but not red hot, you could crack the block. A nut buster is also helpful if the nuts are extremely stubborn. When all else fails, cuss like hell, throw your tools around, kick the Kubota, and swear that you'll never buy orange again<br>

Just got my TC29D today - SUUUUH-WEEEET. 7 hours of mowing has been reduced to @3 hours of fun. However a couple of questions<br>- I have some long grades (perhaps 20 degrees i am guessing) and the tractor seems to bog down a little going up them. I am surprised because my 25hp garden tractor seems to have no problem with them. I am using 2nd gear in hydro. 1st seems really really really slow even on level ground and it also wants to bog down some. Does any of this sound like a problem?<br>- I figured out that i can use the hydraulic lowering stop to position the mower deck (belly) so that the decks guide wheels are about 1/2

I have a 4600 hydro with a 460 loader and and a 73 inches heavy duty bucket. It works great I've been using it for 400 hours so far. Every weekend I mow with a 9 foot befco and I take off the loader when I mow it comes off in 2 1/2 minutes it fits rite to the tractor and doesn't make any noises. I love how much it lifts it will lift a ton with the back wheels loaded and a box on the back. and it works very smooth compared to my old 855. i love the new 4600 tractor.

Try contacting Carver Equipment, WWW.carverequipment.com They sell a tooth bar which bolts onto the bucket for digging in hard soils. I beleive the cost is 320 plus 15 shipping. Two bolts to put it on or take it off. I plan on ordering one myself.<br>Carver does deal in Orange (my choice) but I'm sure he would only charge a 50 percent premium for green. Now seriously I'm sure if he has one to fit your bucket he'll be happy to work with you.<br>Rememebr adding teeth to the bucket is how the industrial loaders increase their ability to dig in hard soils. I think they told me that it would increase your ability to fill the bucket by 25 to 35 percent.<br>Good luck and tell us how you make out.

I am new to the tractor world and was curious as to how others handle fueling their tractors. Mine has a tank capacity of 9.2 gallons and so far I have been using 5 gallons plastic tanks and pouring it into the tractors tank (which is pretty high) but this has been a real pain. What do some of you do to make this an easier chore?

You will need to match up your weight to the loader, none of which we can really help you with. That info should come from the dealer/ manufacturer.<br>All of these ideas will work. How important is manuverability to you? It's pretty easy to pick off a doorway or post or tree with that blade hanging way, way back there..... That would never work for my uses for a loader, I would need the weight box. But this may never be a concern for you. It all depends on your uses.<br>As others have mentioned, keeping the weight as low as possible is important, especially on hilly ground. Breakout force measures the lift capacity for the first foot or so. The higher you lift the less capacity( lift to full heighth)

Roger you comment that the tufline is a nice blade but then compare it to other blades that you have had then tell us how the other blades were not up to the job. I have ordered a Tufline blade do you think it will do the job or should I cancel the order.

Haven't used or intend to use the Mobil delvac product, but highly recommend<br>a TRUE synthetic lube. I personnally use AMSOIL, of which IMHO is the best of <br>the best, cost reflective of course. I haven't taken delivery of my JD4100 yet,<br>but I use only synthetics in all my equipment. My little 4 banger car has 181K hard miles on the<br>Odometer, and still runs like new. My mechanic told me I was wasting my money <br>until he took off the valve cover to adjust all 16 valves. Appearantly, Honda recommends<br>valve adjustments on the older (90') 16v heads every 30k. I had it done at 110k<br>for the first time. He said the valves are in better condition than cars with 30-40k miles<br>using Petroleum products. He took pictures of the valves to show his buddys, no one believed him. He had <br>also never seen an (+100K Mile)engine without even a speck of sludge ANYWHERE Guess who now uses Synthetics. <br>Furthermore, Anyone who states that synthetics are a waste or not proven to be better, should never fly in a jet<br>or go to a NHRA,NASCAR, or any professional race!

Bruce, If you don't have to do alot of mowing close to the house, and tight around <br>many trees, go for the Ag tractor. You will get more horse power, wheight, and maybe<br>reliability for the money. Enjoy, Ed Z.

I am looking at a New Holland 1920 with 400hrs (i think it's a 1997), it is 4wd,<br>12 x 4 Standard shift. No loader.
