He loved his job. Driving a train had been his dream ever since he was a child. He loved to make the train go as fast as possible. Unfortunately, one day he was a little too reckless and caused a crash. He made it out, but a single person died. Well, needless to say, he went to court over this incident. He was found guilty, and was sentenced to death by electrocution. When the day of the execution came, he requested a single banana as his last meal. After eating the banana, he was strapped into the electric chair. The switch was flown, sparks flew, and smoke filled the air - but nothing happened. The man was perfectly fine.

Well, at the time, there was an old Bulgarian law that said a failed execution was a sign of divine intervention, so the man was allowed to go free. Somehow, he managed to get his old job back driving the train. Having not learned his lesson at all, he went right back to driving the train with reckless abandon. Once again, he caused a train to crash, this time killing two people. The trial went much the same as the first, resulting in a sentence of execution. For his final meal, the man requested two bananas. After eating the bananas, he was strapped into the electric chair. The switch was thrown, sparks flew, smoke filled the room - and the man was once again unharmed.

Well, this of course meant that he was free to go. And once again, he somehow managed to get his old job back. To what should have been the surprise of no one, he crashed yet another train and killed three people. And so he once again found himself being sentenced to death. On the day of his execution, he requested his final meal: three bananas.

"You know what? No," said the executioner. "I've had it with you and your stupid bananas and walking out of here unharmed. I'm not giving you a thing to eat; we're strapping you in and doing this now." Well, it was against protocol, but the man was strapped in to the electric chair without a last meal. The switch was pulled, sparks flew, smoke filled the room - and the man was still unharmed. The executioner was speechless.

The man looked at the executioner and said, "Oh, the bananas had nothing to do with it. I'm just a bad conductor."

For some of you older Tractor guys like me I have made some very helpful discoveries about my prostate, bladder and nocturnal urination.<br>

Before changing my habits I always had to get up at least once to pee, sometimes twice, and even three times at night. Gotta love that Prostate nad Bladder.<br>

So here is what I did in the order that I think helped the most<br>
<br>
1)Completely Stopped drinking Coffee caffinated or decaf, Tea, and soda. Only drink water no alcohol. Occasional milk on cereal. I had been drinking coffee only in the AM, but very strong caffinated and decaf, about 20 ounces. Enough coffee to give you the urgent need to urinate.<br>

2)Try to eat dinner before 6:30PM, last snack no later than 7:00PM <br>
<br>
3)Take Saw Palmetto extract<br>

Making these changes, I do not need to get up at night. Amazing !<br>

Pretty simple and worth a try if you do not enjoy nocturia. While my urologist told me that Coffee was a bladder irritant it did not dawn on me that what I was doing in the AM could effect my sleep as well.<br>

Issues of this type are usually related to cavitation problems taking place in the hydraulic pump.

Cavitation can be caused by several things, either individually, or through a combination of things.

Air bubbles in the oil, caused by cavitation, will make it nearly impossible for the pump to develop any useful oil pressure. I have a good feeling that this is your problem, due to the fact that your pump seems to be working fine when cold.

Cavitation can be caused by starving the pump of fluid, which happens when you have a plugged sump screen. It can also be caused by using the incorrect hydraulic fluid. Hydraulic fluids containing detergents will quickly foam up, preventing the pump from building pressure. Water in the oil can cause these problems, as well.

When troubleshooting hydraulic problems, many people jump immediately to the pump as being the culprit, but this is rarely the case.

When was the last time you performed a complete fluid and filter change? Are you using the proper fluid? Have you attempted to remove and clean the sump screen.....provided this applies to your tractor?

Tires that are old are dry and loose traction even they still have tread showing. If you on totally flat dry land you can use them until they die. But if you have inclines, wet surfaces, or snow you better get rid of them now.

On the install I woul call a couple tire places to see if they can install a tire that wa compressed for shipping before ordering.

my 3point on my 2260 long trys to lift dose not get far then will not lift at all. have drained oil and cleened strainer and some valves. have not refilled yet . do not no if i need to pull plug under tractor rearend to . or is it filled sepert. the 3 point has ben slow sense i got the tractor a few years ago.this is my first total drain of hydro.

I would say Deere Advisor is not great but an improvement over trying to go through a straight troubleshooting process without it.

Ah I have been lazy and still have a shear pin to replace on my snowblower, like to put it away ready for next year. Never erver thought about using a rgular 5/16 bolt instead of a shear pin. I hate breaking them but too chicken to go your route.

I noticed at Walmart that the Greeter now is practicing matching receipts to items in the cart as you exit the store. I guess it is in anticipation of customers self checking out bagless in their cart. Sounds like a night mare. Thinkin of the long lines at Costco which is bagless. Always thought of a bgged item as proff of purchase of sorts.

The best thing to do is mechanically controls. The other alternative is too determine which ports do what , make a manifold & run lines to regular hydraulic control valve

These are extraordinary service lives. Best I have ever had in any vehicle is around 7 years.

It should be relatively easy to find a 16 inch truck rim to match the original specs.

Look at my pictures.... the green tractors have correctly sized (to match the 4wd specs) radial mud/snow truck tires. They are light years ahead of any bias ply tractor turf tire.

I can help you figure out how to get the ratios correct between front and rear.

If you were at good at this it is probably better to just pull it off and start over.

But that said you may as well start with a repair attempt to see how that goes first and use the tear off as your fall back.

The mud probably got squeezed out too thin during application or was the wrong mud type. I would use the green can that has mud with more adhesive in it to set the tape.

I would star by using a 4" knife and gently lift out the loose side of the tape, make sure you get nay dust out, maybe vacuum it as you lisft the tape.

You should gently lift the edge of the tape and get new mud behind the tape, then press the tape flat, squeezing out the excess. A round paint brush might help .

Work the mud behind the tape while squeezing the mud in the direction where the tape was still stuck and you couldn't get behind it. Be gentle with your squeeze-out.
Do a second coat to hide the tape. Maybe a third for finish depending on how good you are. You are just trying to get a flat surface that hides the tape and feathers into the drywall surface.

If all fails you will be stuck replacing entire sections as I doubt that tape you buy today will match the Strait Flex variant from 20 plus years ago.

Have fun or hire it out. Amazing how fast a rpo is at this kind of stuff and how painful for a novice !!
