I THINK the Mcmaster part number is 8491A363 . I suggest you check to see if they are at least close to what is needed.

Might be 03m7346 carriage bolt. It’s M6 x75, also takes a nylock nut. Can probably find at hardware store.

I have it fixed and running. It turns out the fuel shutoff selinoid on the side of the injection pump was not getting 12v with the Key turned ON...Problem was a 10amp fuse was blown. Thank you for your help and suggestions!

Hey Murph,
I actually figured it out just last night. I bled all of the rams at the fittings and still had the same issue. I called Westendorf and spoke with their tech. He suggested activating the 3point first then the loader. That didn't work. Then he suggested turning the captured screw in the hydraulic block along the frame rail. I turned it about 90 degrees and the whole system came alive. I think that since the tractor never had a loader before the system was in the off mode. I used it all morning so far and it is working fine now.
Thank you for replying. It seems a lot of guys are having that problem so I'll definitely keep an eye on the quick connections.

Don't know if you purchase the tractor you mentioned. I have a 2001 NHTC33D. The tilt did not work and a purchased a new one from Ebay for around $70. I have had the tractor for about two year now and the shock absorber has failed again. Heard there are issue with this. the glow plugs are set to come on when you turn the key switch and they are set on a timer. Tractor will start without waiting in warm weather but starts better if you wait till the glow plug light goes out.

First I would like to thank Imfedup and Murf for their advise. Ok got the tractor running. The battery terminals where clean and had a good ground. The previous owner had installed a battery disconnect switch. I was getting power to the key switch until I tried to start the tractor. I was not getting any clicks or any sounds when trying to start tractor. The battery was reading 12.53 volts with my meter and was getting that at the starter and at the key switch. Just to prove to myself the battery was good I put it on charge. When I tried to start the tractor I heard a click. Then I decided to remove the battery disconnect switch and hook up the cables directly to the battery. Had dash lights and the tractor started right up. Funny how I had started the tractor several times that day with no problems then all the sudden nothing. My suspicion from the beginning was bad battery but battery checked out good. My battery charger will tell you if the battery is bad. In the end it was a defective battery disconnect switch.

if IT STARTS WHEN YOU jump across the solenoid your problem is in the key switch , safety switch or the wiring of the key circuit.

Thanks for the suggestions. Turns out that my front drive shaft had broken. All fixed now, and replaced the clutch.

Hi I just purchase a 165 with a loader and would like a little help with the controls, like the little black knob by my right foot. Also there is a lot of free play in the clutch pedal, although it shifts into gear ok, should I adjust to the 3/4 - 1� like other tractors? Thanks for any help

Well after further looking at the fluid it appeared that the previous owner put gear oil in the hydraulics instead of hydro fluid, we flushed the system and changed the filter and the tractor works as good as new! We still plan on flushing the system again next week just to be sure but it appears the problem is solved. Now I just have to find some ag tires and wheels and get these big wide turf tires off of it.

There is a hole under the clutch housing on my 2510 that has a cotter pin connected to something inside.
If you are running the trans fluid too high it could be comming out of the shaft housing and leaking out that hole.
Also the holes that are threaded under the trans go all the way through to the clutch housing. Then you may have the hydraulic pick up tube bolt leaking. The bolt is suposed to have a rubber ring to prevent that, on mine it was brittle. I put 2 o rings on it. Be careful tightening that bolt, it is really easy to strip.

Have had this issue several times. The fuel filter was plugged and needed replacement. It ran fine and then abruptly stopped without warning.

I have a cub 7235 3cyl diesel with around 600 hours and it, I was plowing snow and it just quit running. I drained all of the fuel, has new fuel, bled the air, and still wont start. The exhaust will smoke when it turns over but that's it. Is it not getting enough fuel? Injection pump? I removed the fuel shutoff solenoid and that seems to be working.

that doesn't look like a big issue, like can be solved easilty

For the solenoid to do anything it has to be getting power when you turn the key. If you know the location of the solenoid put a voltmeter on the terminal from the key and see if you have voltage when the key is turned. You could have a defective or dirty key switch or a loose wire between there and the starter. Mice like to chew wires, too.
