I wouldn't be going back to the dealership for this kind of repair.

Any decent hydraulics shop can do the repair in no time and for a LOT less than just replacing the cylinders.

Memory is not what it used to be but I believe those were built by hinimoto of china.

It would seem somehow you are not getting a correct part number to where you are buying. Not trying to offend. I have a Volvo that the parts book which came with the machine list shafts for the bucket on more than one page and did not realize that and ordered off of wrong page.

Have you visually compared the two shafts? If so can you tell the difference? Do you know what the difference is? Still my recommendation is to take the wrong shaft and your broken shaft to a New Holland dealer or a good tractor garage may be a good option and show them what you are getting and then what you need.

Hard to believe there are two different options in PTO shafts for those tractors.

A lot depends on how thick it is, what you have to work with and how willing you are to handle the work, Time wise.

If small tractor and it is real thick make you grapple hook or hooks and toss them past the weeds of course AFTER you attach it to your tractor. This assumes you have room for the tractor to pull the hooks onto the bank. I have seen land levelers that use a link chain type design with hooks on the bottom side that would flex and grab but those are heavier I believe than you could easy handle to get over the weeds.

Depending on the weeds, chemicals. Before you go that way be sure you are talking to a knowledgeable person. Assume you have life in the pond you wish to keep. I would not trust a single source on a web forum for what is safe. I can tell you some very popular chemicals can be used in the right set up and are labeled for that but make a small change in your own situation and it is not safe.

I have had luck finding engine bolt on parts that crossover from the Massey Ferguson 1030 & Allis Chalmers 5015. I think my water pump was a direct fit for the MF1030. I’ve been trying to track down a wiring diagram.

Hello all! New to tractorpoint and trying to get the swing of the forum. Thought I would dip my toe in to learn and share any info about these little tractors. I currently own an N249 model which is a far cry from my old 8N Ford I once had. I have been trying to feverishly translate the controls and figure out good parts sources. I will be trying to post as many pics as possible, but I also have pdf files I will freely share. Please keep in mind these have been translated to the best of my ability, so I am open to suggested edits and corrections. I also have a chart for fluids and lube points if anyone is interested. <br>
Hoping to get a flow of much needed info going such as crossover parts and such going. God bless.

Howdy all. I am new to the board as well as Yellow iron ownership. I just purchased a JD755 Crawler Laoder to do some work around my place. (Digging a Pond and building a house pad along with clearing trees) I have owned many compact tractors and the like but never any " big equipment" I was hoping maybe I could get some advice on dos and don'ts More specifically as the owner of a used machine what should I do prior to running her hard?<br>
Where do all of the oils and lubes go?<br>
When and how often to change fluids?<br>
and adjustments other than tracks I would need to know?<br>

I have an old roof mower, no model or information on it. Most of the pictures I have seen show a round deck. mine is more oblong. has a 8.5 HP B&S. i am in need of the rubber that goes around the drive disk. It would be great if anyone might help identifying the model. i can send pictures. Any help would be appreciated.

Ohh. That s a relief for you. If you have a smart phone video what he does so you can refer to it later. Seeing a video is great.

But the implements run on hydraulic fluid and you said you had none so you have more questions for him. :-(

You're right about too early to think about snow, but as I write this that's exactly what our folks are doing, gearing up for yet another snow season.

BTW, now is the time to get out there and have a look at your snow equipment, it's a LOT nice wrestling with rusty bits in shirtsleeve weather than at way below freezing temps in a snow storm.
