Standard problems with the steering system i have heard of converting the 235's to the 245 steering anyone here converted on ?

I have the same model mower (roof 74302), and need replacement parts for the slip clutch that drives the mower blade - if you are interested please send me a pic, and let's see if we can work together to make at least one mower work

candoarms, I was not aware there was any one who made these till stumbled across them for my Stihl saws. They work very well with no skill or talent. Only issue I have is need way to hold bar steady which a dog is recommended driven in into piece of wood if memory is correct or do like me, file slowly or use a vice. .

That would do it. Not only will restricted exhaust create issues but also air intake will. Diesel will run hot due to clogged air filter. Issue to watch for is insects building homes in both the exhaust and the intake.

Had hoped someone who knew the answer would have helped by now. Have you checked to see if there is anything on youtube on say adjusting the throttle linkage? I doubt it but...might be.

I have a 7235 4WD hydrostatic diesel. Drives good in low gear, but will barely move in medium or high gear. What might be the problem?

Long in this reply so you may have it fixed.

Have you looked at the brake pads? Could be them or could be rust on the rotor. If noise is only when first used after sitting for a while, humidity level affects that, could be light rust on the rotor. But it should get less as you use it. If it does not would think brake pads.

If not mistaken our sweeper is 60 inch and an agri fab also. But are you pulling it while mowing? Would it not have to be off set? Will tell you my wife told me couple of weeks ago we need to throw our sweeper away. Lawn has too much in clippings to use it. Sure is this year, after 19 years of seeding and sprigging and fertilizing and such it is thick as carpet, thanks to the rain the Good Lord has sent us and the fertilizer I put out.

I was able to match the old belts up at a local auto parts store. If anyone needs belts for a Bobcat 3 point finish mower model #3FM72 you can use DAYCO belts part # BP76. They fit perfectly and were reasonably priced.

We need a little more info to be of much help, but to start, do you know WHY it stopped running?

Did it run out of fuel? Did the fuel shut-off relay give up?

But taking a WAG, just because you have fuel at the pump but not the injectors (yet) does NOT mean there’s a problem. The pump output is very tiny and if there’s air in the lines it will take a LONG time to overcome that by just cranking.

Did you try the above idea of getting it running on WD-40 to blow the lines clear?

I know what you are saying. have to make that adjustment every season between using the snow blower and belly mower. different travel of lift for each.
