I recently got a 97 NH 1925, and it needed a starter. I bought one and installed it. No power to instruments. I tested tge relays, but not tge safety switches. That�s next. I Checked fuses and main 30 amp. All ok. I found the previous owner cut thw hw14 and tge hw11b wire to a toggle button. I want to fix it correctly. My question is, Where do these go? The repair manual says to a 6amp diode, but there�s only 2 diodes all wired correctly. If that�s it, where can I find the diode to purchase it at? The power from these are from the Seems the power from the ignition switch goes to the hw14 into the 6amp diode to the hw11b wire one direction. All help appreciated. Ps. Testing the ignition switch next. Also, can these simply be spliced together?

Raise the rear wheels off the ground with the stabilizers. Then put range lever in neutral with brakes off. You should be able to turn rear wheels easily by hand. If they don't spin easily, the brakes are dragging. The brake levers at the final drives tend to seize. With hydro the brakes don't get used much and that is the reason they stick. Free them up with penetrating oil and then lube with Fluid Film or something similar to keep it working free,

I have a TC29 and the Hydraulics SCREAM in cold weather. Today I was plowing snow and a tube flared fitting failed on me. I need to replace the hydraulic tube now. I think its because the fluid is too thick. The outdoor temp was 17�F. I see all kinds of heavy equipment sitting out in the cold and they use it to plow parking lots etc. So why is my hydraulic system doing this? The fluid that leaked onto the drive way started to turn to gel in about 30 secounds. You just can not suck this thick fluid through the filter and it starves the pump causing the winning. This is my opinion anyway. This fluid is supposed to be rated for -13�F. I call BS!
If you change the filter yes it will fix it. However, it will come back. If the weather gets to 40 there is no whinning at all.
I'm going to buy a few different quarts of this hydraulic fluid and let them sit out over night. then pour them in the morning and compare which brand is the most fluid. I'm really tired of this whinning and I do think I'm damaging the hydraulics. The pressure is to high for the system when the fluid is a gel. That's why my line failed today.

I look forward to any comments anyone has on this.

I had to have them made... he fabricated 2 new spline shafts, then drilled, pressed and welded new spline shafts into yokes...$500 took almost 2 years looking for replacements and/or some one that DIDN'T say it couldn't be done..Dude did a great job with all the confidence in the world good luck

Looking for help... My 3130 HST emits a "click" from the engine when I push "forward" on the pedal. No matter the rpms. It will move forward very slowly (to get off the road?), but when I try take off it shuts down. If I catch it quick and back off it will stay running. Reverse works normally. I am sure this is some sort of safety shut off but don't know what for. Hydraulic fluid level is normal.

You must have really did it when weeds croak. If you have some erosion now get some hay bales and put in some blocks above and in and throughout.

I had some serious movement out back by creek and had to move some old wood to help blockage and clear debris to put flows back into creek.

46bugs I have a long 360 with a D-124 engine, as far as I have found so far is D-115 is 38 hp and D-124 is 46 hp but not nothing for sure yet

Thanks for the reply to my Dec msg MINIMAC. I replaced the regulator after Xmas and it fixed part of the problem. The warning light comes on now and it didn't before. The light is real bright at idle and gets slightly dimmer when I rev the engine up. I guess it must the alternator or the wiring. Problem now is I don't know where the alternator is located. Any help anyone?? Thanks. OLDLDO

Your comment leads to believe it runs ok after starting. Yes?

If so there are a couple simple questions.

Does it smoke trying to start? White? Grey? Black?

Does it smoke while running? Colour?

Does it seem like it’s cranking at normal speed? Slower? Faster?

Finally, when you do get it started does it then restart normally if you shut it back off for a few minutes?

Really not much to a solenoid, it needs lots of juice to work so like Tip said check for corrosion everywhere even your battery terminals.

Must be a different 4029=0 system than I remember. Ours had 2 12volt batteries.

I'd recheck the voltages. Clean all the contacts on the tractor.

I also have a 6x4 diesel gator that is a couple of years newer than the gasburner. when I drive it 1 or 2 hundred feet it kicks out of gear. the gear shift goes back to the neutral position as well. putting it back in gear gets me another short distance. I have tried tying the shift lever down and that seems to work but I wonder if I am destroying something inside the trans. I have did all the external linkage adjustments with no change. by the way, where is the voltage regulator located on the gasoline 6x4's???

I would look into getting a new Voltage Regulator, you can them on Ebay for $70 .

Thanks for your help. I found the advisory on another forum. In talking with the local cub dealer he described the reverse block and I realized that the upgrade was already done on my tractor. But I do have to get the correct filter for it. I hope the filter helps. The dealer said I need to check the forward/reverse control linkage for adjustment and ware or loose fasteners. Thanks again for your help.
