I installed a water jacket style block heater. My records show that I used Kats Frost Plug Engine Heater P/N 10422, but you may want to double check that. It installed pretty easy as I remember.

I don't remember if you can visually identify the upgrade filter mount but I'm guessing you could cross check the filter itself. I also don't know if the old style filter would fit on the updated filter block or vice versa. I can see how that might create a problem if it is the case. I believe that Sunstrand was the manufacturer of the transaxle and hydrostat so perhaps they could help if you can't find a knowledgeable Cub dealer (difficult to find because few Cub dealers ever dabbled in these tractors) My best help came from the parts guy at R. I have a copy of the factory service bulletin regarding the filter upgrade but I am going to have to figure out how to upload it here.

I wonder if there is any adjustment to the travel linkage that might be contributing to your problem regarding travel speed. Perhaps something is bent, out of adjustment, or restricting its motion. I can't recall if that is discussed at all in the owners manual but I think it would be worth checking.

That's not really a question that can be answered until you know what seal is leaking and why.

It could be in either the control circuit or the lift circuit.

Your best bet would be to speak to your dealer, or another bigger dealer, bigger dealers often get more exposure to different types of repairs and so have a better handle on the cost of those repairs.

some tractors have access plates or exposed cylinders, that can make a huge impact on the cost of repairs like this which are mostly labour charges.

Hello from the new guy here.<br>
I need a complete clutch (disk, pressure plate and throwout bearing) for a grey market Mitsubishi DF2000 medium tractor. Are the parts interchangeable with a D2000? I have found a clutch disk at Ky Tractor. It is 8 1/2 dia, 12 spline, 13/16 shaft. Am I close? Sorry, I am completely new to this tractor, but glad to find this forum. Thanks

So I got a chance to look at my tractor today, and after removing the plastic cover under the steering wheel so I could see the gas linkage I cleaned and lubed the joints I'm back in business .

So my 2016 Workmaster 33 had a bad seat switch when it first arrived in January, 2018.<br>
Well, it appears to be bad again.<br>

Well, not sure I actually solved the problem! I was ready to start taking things apart, with a focus on upper and lower shaft bearings, per some good advise I had from a very knowledgeable chap on this site. Anyway, I decided to change the oil and put an ISO 100 oil in the hydraulics (SAE 30); I did that, and so far, there has been a significant improvement in the steering. The previous owner had an ISO 46 hydraulic oil in the system, which he had subsequently changed to a 10W30. The straight 30 is of course heavier at operating temp, which for me tends to be cool; in fact, since most of my work is in the woods in winter, the 10W30 hydraulic oil was operating as a 10 weight. The downside of the SAE 30 is with the cold, the steering can be a bit stiff at the cold temps.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that my steering continues to work as it now does, in which case I will not do the teardown.

It would pretty cool if the Woods Backhoe that could fit the smaller B series could also fit the the large L. A B sized how on a bigger L might be fine without the subframe, probably too good to be true :-)

If you rarely change the oil, then I recommend using a synthetic diesel oil and a dealer (stock) oil filter. Synthetic can absorb the long time intervals between changes.
