looks like I can keep my differential, need 2new axle's(#4r,#4l),2 cv joints(#20),2 sets of inner and outer bearings(#6,#22a) and 2 11 tooth drivegear(#23). So would I also need 2 new axle assembly(#1a x2)is that the casting? or the entire assembled part#..?

Okay. Are you aware that the live pto and hydraulic lift pump both drive from the same source. When the pto portion of the clutch is disengaged, both of them stop turning, not just the pto shaft. If you now find that neither is working at all, your problem could be in the clutch itself. Have you removed the cover plate from under the bell housing and looked for anything unusual in that area? You may find fragments of clutch lining and/or other evidence of disc or clutch failure.

Just thinking here you will be gaining six horsepower but you have to much if you are spinning! You could add industrial tires for about 400. dollars or you could try a land pride driveway scraper for about 1,200 which is faster and doesn't have the issue with digging in more then you set the machine and in less time you can have a perfect driveway. The dealer would probably take your box blade in trade!

Yes sir, my friend put a hand-held power source to the wires coming from the 3pt. elec. cyl. with the control box joystick in the up/dn position. It will will go up/down that way, so i know the electric part works. However, their's the wires coming from the control box to the hyd. manifold under left-side of seat. I can get power from those wires, and hooked up arms go up but not down.
Lights work on the control box(right fender mount w/js), just wondering if one of the solenoids under seat(right-side)isn't opening/closing. That's all i know. However to make sure, it'll be nice to have a picture/diagram of that part of the wiring. Two plug-ins and one is cut(missing) 2-grn./1-bl goes to 2-blk./2-wht. Thanks for any help to solve this. JIM

Changed oil in the long today.And i cleaned and lubed the hydraulics levers and linkage.Works much better'Think i will drain all the hydr out and put in new that may make it even better.And there is only a suction screen filter.Think i will try to get a operater manual for the tractor so can get the right fluids.

I just bought a new BX23S 2 days ago. I've backhoed a ton of dirt trying to open up culvert pipe under my driveway that was almost completely under dirt that had filled in in front of it. I bucket loader graded the banks of this dry stream bed, and hauled all the dug out material up by my corral to fill in low spots. So after 2 days of using this machine, I have to say it is amazing. It has plenty of power...enough to lift up a big pile of hardened concrete that was dumped by my field after they poured my barn slab. I totally love the back hoe.
So about the "how strong is it" question, I'd say strong enough. This is my 4th Kubota; two were bigger and one was a bit smaller, but out of all those tools, this one makes the most sense to me on my 6 acre mini ranch.

Yesterday (found a new air leak and fixed), I tried going directly from the tank to the filter with a bulb below the tank. The engine fired but would not run for more than a few seconds. When I reconnected old line, engine fired and ran perfectly. Can i conclude that the lift pump is operational from this data? I left the bulb in the spot below hte tank for now. I am concerned about pumping fuel into the crankcase though, and wonder how real of a possibility this is. I am not always on site, and the guys who use this mower are not able to bleed lines or troubleshoot. I need a bullet proof solution. Deere has the original mechanical pump listed as available, so wonder if I should bite the bullet and just replace that, or do the electrical bypass, or primer bulb.

I just finished rebuilding mine using drill bushings, with a bronze bushing pressed in. Had to bore the bronze bushings for the pin size. Worked for me.

I'd start by examining your ground to see whether it has worked loose or been torn off by brush etc. If there is no obvious damage then check it for continuity. Sometimes it may look fine at the terminal and be corroded under the insulation.( found this out the hard way on one of my boats).

The other thing you may want to do is read your manual to see if there are any automatic kill switches hidden away anywhere. Lots of the smaller hobby tractors have them now (under the seat is common) and they are a royal PITA!

My starting bet would be on a loose or damaged ground as you say you were clearing brush, - lots of snags to tear things off. I've had harnesses separated as well by branches from time to time. Usually no damage, just clip it back together.

I have a 2007 NH TC26DA with about 700+ hours on it. Was using to clear trees the other day and it wouldn't restart after I shut it off. I had started it multiple times prior. When I turn the key none of the gauges glow plug indicator lights etc. work. Checked all fuses and none are blown and battery voltage is normal. Has anyone had a similar issue that could aid me in resolving this problem? <br>

Im in need of any information on how to replace the clutch. A manual would be awesome, how can I come by one? When I bought it, previous owner claimed to have replaced clutch - NOT!!! Needless to say I only got one month use out of it before; what I believe to be my clutch, just went out. Now it wont go forward or backward despite having adjusted the clutch pedal. Need some insight on how to remove/replace this dual position clutch. I've worked on clutches in cars/trucks but never a tractor; especially this dual position clutch for PTO and drive. Thanks for any help available.

Trying to find a used backhoe is hard as most stay with the tractor till death!

Kubota used a three point from the factory but frame mounts with a modification or two might fit as well and those are the preferred for overall longevity. Do not go over seven foot for depth or you will be to big for the rear end of the tractor.

The one implement that I wonder as to a good fit might be the post hole auger. The other attachments normally have to have custom cut shafts so they don't bottom out and that would be the biggest issue for the post hole auger. On some machines they have adjustable hitches to compensate and so do not so the drive shafts have to be cut.

For ten acres it would be a great tractor! Could you use more? Not much before you hit overkill! The extra you might need would make mowing harder!!!! Mowing will be the most time you spend and to go to a larger chassis tractor cuts the overhang drastically!

On the need for all those posts installed, just thoughts, rent a unit with a post driver on it and install all of them in a day!!!! The post hole auger if it is a low quality will be tapered so bad that you might consider replacing it when done! Driven holes are tight!!!! To have to drill get a hydraulic skid steer or tractor mount!
