I have recently purchased a Belarus 420A. (not sure of the year!) I say that is the model, although I do note a reference to a T40A on one of the fenders. I am trying to do the oil/lube changes before I put it to work. The tractor came with no manual. Can anyone help me with the lube recommendations? Hydraulic oil, power steering fluid, crankcase, rear differential/final drive, front differential. The unit is a 4 wheel drive diesel. Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Is this the indicator lamp to the right of the 4WD and MotionMatch switches? If it is, what are the "codes?" - is that the number of times the lamp flashes?

If it is not, then what is that indicator lamp to the right of those two switches.

Recently had to replace the fuel uplift pump, fuel line from tank to uplift pump and the filter. Uplift pump was leaking. Bled the fuel system and started right up.<br>

Next time I used the tractor ran fine for about 30 minutes, was going up a slight hill in a pasture and engine sputtered but kept running. Drove about 50 yards and engine stopped and would not restart. Re-bled the system and started fine made it back to the gate and died again. Fuel gauge read low but not empty, checked the tank and had about 5 inches of fuel. Re-bled the system again and tractor fired right up, next day started tractor and let in run at idle for about 20 minutes with no problem. This was about 10 days ago.<br>

Went to start tractor today everything was fine used for about 30 minutes and while going down road engine would slow down slightly then go right back to normal speed did this for about a quarter of a mile. Was doing it more up hill than on flat or going downhill. Went to drop off a round bale in same pasture and tractor died and would not restart. Re-bled the system tractor started went to next pasture going up hill and it died again. Got it out of the pasture and tried to re-bled the system twice and will not start.<br>

To bled the system I loosen the small lower bolt on the injector pump and crank until fuel came out which was right away, then loosened the small upper bolt on the injector pump and cranked but hardly any fuel or air came out. Then I started with the injector closest to the seat and cranked until fuel came out and moved to the next injector. At the third injector the tractor tried to fire for a couple of seconds but would not start. Normally this was the time that it would be running.<br>

I suspect that my injector pump might be bad as when I bled the injectors the fuel did not seem to have a lot of<br>
pressure. Fuel did not squirt out like when I bled the injector pump.<br>

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, I am new to your forum and am really hoping somebody on here can help me. I have MITSUBISHI MT2501FD the FEL will not raise unless I raise the 3ph first and after the 3PH has been raised it will raise regardless of direction spool is moved. It will not lower unless I lower the 3ph--even with tractor shut off<br>

it has an external hydraulic pump ran off the front of the tractor comes back to what I think is a diverter or priorty valve where it splits to loader control vavle and to rear 3ph. The return line from the loader control vavle also runs to "something" before returning to rear end sump.<br>
Any ideas would be appreciated

Drive belts are the most common cause! You will find excellent tutorial from a company called Aeen on proper drive belt fit. They are my clutching masters!

thanks for the info. does your book show or tell anything about the timing marks on flywheel. i have been able to find tdc, but i dont know how much to turn flywheel to find 14 degrees before tdc. if i turn it a inch, more or less. also does it tell anything about a timing mark on the clutch bellhousing. thanks

Carolinablue, thanks for the manual link. After looking at the manual and the wheel assemblies I find mine does not have the power stance option. With the weight involved I think it is going to be a time consuming job, but I can do it.

I'll get to break in my new engine hoist and air gun.

exact allis chalmers part number is 2100548-3. need two if availible. it is a two piece seal. seals where the axil goes into the housing on a 4 wheel drive.

They will come on when you turn on the key, and for a couple seconds when first started till the pressure builds up.

I have the opportunity to be given the above. It does not run but, the Kohler engine turns freely. I know this topic has been brought up before but, any ideas on a manual...parts...worthwhile getting it? I have 3 acres to grass and brush cut.<br>

I am always tempted by low prices that King Kutter has and wonder how bad can cheap stuff be? That said I have usually gone with Landpride as long as the piece is not goin to empty my bank account.
