There are several tractor wrecking yards around the country. If you could even order one from the dealer I'd bet the price would be VERY high.

While welding is possible you would need an extremely skilled welder to do the job properly.

The bigger issue though is what broke it in the first place. I'm guessing this unit either saw some pretty heavy FEL work of had a backhoe unit.

You will be splitting the tractor to fix your issue unless you are lucky and it is in the shifter mechanism.

I recently acquired an 1800 sq. foot metal building in Southern Colorado zip code 81055. I am looking for a contractor/company who can install some windows along one side of the building. It wasn't me, but I do have some limited experience with one.

A family member has one and a dealer gave me some time back to use for a while as a demo unit. He hoped I'd buy some from him.

My was, and still is, they're a lot like a Swiss Army knife. They were built to do, and will do, a bunch of different things, but not always very well.

I also don't find they offer much in the way of value.

For what they cost, never mind you're then stuck with only their attachments, you have lots of other choices.

At the time I recall shutting down the gabby sales rep. by merely asking him what a Ventrac could do that a 4WD Kubota F series couldn't do? Especially given that I could buy a far more powerful Kubota for the same money or less?

At the time, a 37 hp 4WD Kubota F series with 72" deck was the same money as a 25hp Ventrac diesel.

Not much comparison between the two in my mind.

Every year I see more and more warnings about games being played on customers for today. Models made just for today with missing features and such being game in electronics. Clothes made out of lesser fabrics than normal model and yes the model really was already on sale.

The counter balance should help and will be easier on your equipment. I can see movement and a little pressure against the hair pin possibly removing it, but I don't think you'll have that with the linch pin. I have had hair pins bend and come out so I mostly use linch pins. I personally would try a good linch pin before going to a bolt. I haven't lost one yet, but I do replace them if they feel the least bit weak.
