I am sure the hours will help you on price and also with that low of hours should have no damage which is also good. However know some with think something is wrong with that amount of hours on it. If I ran an ad on it would tell in the ad the hours are real and maybe why. I would do some work with the tractor as you have to be sure no leaks and all works fine. kt

Hi, thanks for the reply I've already checked for any slippery oil on the belt and it's completely dry and clean of any oil.

I can't even use my slip tubes as his is on the equipment not the tractor. He needs to bust the universals loose and swap on the yokes, but he won't. Isearched everywhere I know for a 1 3/8 female 6 slpine to 1 1/8 male 6 spline quick attach and can't find one.

So it was running when you replaced the starter and now it will turn over but not crank up and run, is that correct?

Does that starter have solenoid on the starter? I think it does and think you have wire connected wrong that supplies power to the coil if my memory is right, if memory is wrong no idea.

It sounds like it is running out of fuel. Could it be the fuel flow is slow enough it can not supply the engine at high RPM. Could be partial restriction in the fuel line. Have you tried opening up the fuel line to see how strong the flow of gas is?

Should have asked this first, when it cuts off how long does it have to sit to do the same thing again?

Turns out the problem was the neutral safety switch located under the platform floor. Pain in the butt to get to, basically have to disassemble the seat shroud and platform to reach the switch. Working right now with a jumper wire, picking up a new switch this week. Thanks for all the input.

Wow! I'll bet that was an experience. I already have the power ran. The water co. will bring meter and hook-up past other utilities at the road. They will bring me a 1" meter and told me to run 1" line. I originally wanted to run 1 1/2". It's a small water co. and the main is only 4". The power co. wouldn't let me run water line in same trench.

I would have thought Bobcat bought their cylinders and did not make them had I been asked. Then what do I know. Well if ole earthwrks was still here he would have jumped on that one!!

Well I did find picture of the setup on a boom mower I had used before. It is basically two third arms that run from the lift pins to the third arm pin on the tractor. There is a mount that mounts to the third arm pin on the tractor they connect to. When I first saw the mount I had concern it would break the 3rd arm mount on the tractor in just movement of the lift arms. If that setup is safe to the tractor housing then not hard to do. Any one had any experience with that setup? Again I did but it has been at least 5 years since used it.

Has anyone used linking from the fixed draw bar to the lift arm that rides up to keep it down? Problem with that is you have to remember the arm is restricted and not raise the lift past the limit you set.

Hey, everyone, sorry to be so long in posting. I have been somewhat out of pocket. In any case, I did change the primary fuel filter, bled the lines, tractor started right up. Thanks again for all your help. It was and is greatly appreciated.

It would be very unlikely to create any issue if you were to try and see if those ports did work. If you wanted to try it real carefully then run a short loop between the two ports to test it. If it is running in through the hose then it should warm the hose up to the touch. I have no doubt a heated cab there would be a real blessing. kt

Thanks. I have it already in 5 gallon buckets and 4 or 5 are black and yes they are sitting in the sun. Not by plan just was frustrated with the issue and had not moved under shelter. kt

to stop your three point lift from creeping down on the sd2243, there is a round knob under your seat behind your three shifters. after you have you lift all the way up.turn it all the way to the right off..and your lift will not creep down. turn it back on to use it. frank

pw glad to have you here. Just FYI the date a message is posted in the solid line on the left end above the post. Like yours reads 09-22-2015 for Sept 22. The one above was in 2001 I think.
