The Nortrac 35XL arrived today. 1st Look not Bad Looks and handles OK after fighting a 1954 Ford 800 the power steering is sweet. Now. Bang For Buck features It had all the Items I was prepared to buy. Weights Wheel and Front Plate weights toolbox and a few tools. I was told the Drive would show me how to operate it. He was OK but not an expert. Hunt and Peck worked.Knocked some stumps out of the ground.NP and two dead trees.
I was surprised it wasnt a Jinma. Foton stamped all over it.
Some of the Nuts and bolts were loose. I ran around it with wrenches annoying but acceptable. No Oil Filters came with it. But the tool kit seemed compleate, So far So good I will add to the review as I go. 12 Acer Goat farm Its going to get a work out,

There are pictures outlining your issue with the power steering slave unit.

You will only use a few of the seals, they send you enough to cover other type of units.

Go to the right side of the page and type in Huddleston, you will get a list of pictures and messages which might help you with your problems.

KTThompson the speeds are 540 and 1000. there is a lever in front of the left foot pad to switch. The PTO is live but will not push the tractor when the interrupter pedal is pressed .
The pump rebuild/new drive gear took care of the lift. Time will tell if it took care of the delayed lift.

The other day my battery, air, and oil light came on at the same time. It does this when I shift the high-low range lever into gear. When I switch to neutral the lights go out. It starts off dim then gets bright. Checked safety switch, checks ok. Anyone have any idea what would cause this? <br>

Ken it is amazing what we see in life of a tractor. Just sold the second set of small Kubota L'series to a farmer. He is building his own front blade hook-up with hydraulic angle and lift. One get's used to push the feed into the manger area and the other is used on the other end of the cow with the manure. He runs them between 7500 and 8000 hours. So far just normal fluid and filters. We have other larger tractors going past 10,000 hours as well as even a ZD zero turn over 8,000 hours that just went to a homeowner off commercial duty.

Ok, now with a little more info it's a little easier to advise.

It sounds like the PTO is just not fully disengaging. If there is an inspection plate I'd see if you can have a look and see if the lever has slipped on the shaft that engages / disengages the PTO.

Most of these starters are Nippon-Denso or just Denso brands. A few are Mitsubishi brands. You are being sent-up the river with a 12-tooth vs. a 15-tooth gear for the starter. I would have refused that from the start.

Our starters for Ag use the old solenoid technology, thus they cost more. If you have the starter brand maker and can search their catalog for the same mounting and teeth, an OffSet Gear Reduction starter is the way to go. They are a bit stronger, last longer and cost about 35% less. My YM2610 starter was shown to be $254. Got it for $99 brand new with free shipping once I found the cross-reference to the newer technology starter.

Nippon-Denso, aka former Toyota parts division, makes starters for Industrial, Ag, and automotive. Thus, it's rather simple to fins starters locally at NAPA, AutoZone, etc for the Off Set Gear Reduction (OSGR) starters. Even the NAPA price would be better than any Ag supplier too.

Back in 1962, Chrysler was the first to mass produce this type of starter. Today, all modern vehicles use this over the old solenoid types pre-1980s.

I own a 1999, 7305 Cub Cadet Tractor with hydrostatic transmission which was purchased new. I have performed regular maintenance for the years I have owned it. Over the past couple years I�ve noticed the tractor seems to be losing drive power when I go up an incline. I used to be able to go up a particular hill in mid range with no load in or on the machine. Now I can only go up the same hill in low range. Additionally, I get some smoke from the exhaust. Also, when the tractor is on level ground, it has difficulty moving in high range. It almost feels like there is a drag or that the brake is being applied. It seems to move backwards with less trouble. The machine has plenty of power at the front end loader and the backhoe (with no smoke). It just seems to be problematic when driving forward, and especially uphill. Has anyone here experienced anything like this and have any advice or ideas? Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

There are two solenoids in the rear that are activated by the swithches that you are describing. They control the up and down movement of the 3pt. They are picking up power from somewhere. Try removing one of the wires on the raise switch and see if it stops. Touch the wire against the terminal on the switch. It tries to raise then the switch is possibily bad.
