Before I suspect anything else I would:
1) Remove bat cables.
2) Wire brush posts and terminals.
Reinstall terminals.

Then put DC Voltmeter on terminals.
Watch meter and turn on lights
See any drop.

Then turn on key and see if any drop
Then depress clutch and start.
Note the drop.
Should only drop a volt or less.

Sounds like a bad ground. Check ground to frame connection & battery clamps to battery.

Snydet,

Check to be sure your loader valve isn't stuck in the float position. To me, it sounds as though the hydraulic system is in use somewhere else....more than likely the loader.

Work all of the valves on your loader joystick to be sure that they're all centered.

I don't know what the Chinese recommend for hydraulic oil.Some of the Japanese recommended 80w-90 gear oil. Put a tee in one of your bucket hoses & install a pressure gauge. Read the gauge when the cylinder comes to the end of the stroke. Check this against the factory specs.

It sounds like you need to tighten the friction device on the lever. Item #5 is the nut to tighten it up. Just snug it up until it is tight enough to hold the position you want.

The internal pressure valve on the Kubota tractor is set at 2250 psi. In operating conditions with full load it can vary from 2200 to 2300 psi

Bosco,

This old conveyor was originally powered by an electric motor/gearbox combination unit. I was often irritated by the fact that I had to use it somewhere within reach of an electrical outlet.

The conveyor was lengthened by four additional feet, then converted to be powered by a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic power comes from the log splitter.

I purchased a new valve for the splitter. The new valve has a power beyond port. When the splitter is busy splitting wood, the conveyor doesn't run. The conveyor runs only after the splitter finishes the splitting cycle.

No longer does my splitter eat up gas while waiting for another log. It's now busy doing something useful at all times.

I can now place my conveyor anywhere I want to. The power comes from the splitter, allowing me to take the whole operation out into the trees with me.

Recent years, Chinese tractors like Jinma Dongfeng Foton are exported a lot because of lower price and good quality. As we work with many tractor owners from over the world. Feedback about tractor quality is mostly good.
The biggest problem is from the local dealer. They can not supply enough after sale service for their customers, for example, spare parts. So many our customers complain that it is difficult to get spare parts when their tractors break down. So consider your local market,service is good or not?

There is always a brand mark on tractor and engine. You found brand mark on the engine. So there should be one more on the tractor. There are many tractor brands in China. So it is not an easy thing.

Thanks for your reply! Actually we get as much wet snow as powder. We have a foot on the ground right now and it is heavy. Still snowing and what is coming down is pretty dry.

What is the cost of foam filling the rear tires? I hadn't heard of anyone foam filling, curious about the pro's and con's. I fluid filled to lower the center of gravity on the tractor because I side mow a fairly steep slop along the drive. How much weight does the foam add?

Hello Dennis, yes I signed up for this job because it provided reasonable hours, health insurance and just enough salary to get me by. However, as you get into any job, you find they have extra projects on the side, etc etc that they would like you to do as well!

I am working a couple of extra hours a day and it is difficult to keep up with these youngsters. It is as though the keyboard is part of their body. But for the most part weekends and nights are free.

Have a 220 Steiner. finished mowing for the season and when I was leaving mowing site the deck would not raise. Checked both lift cylinders, have power steering, and hydraulic pressure. What else is there to look for? What about the lift lever manifold?

JD 4310 want come out of 4x4. I think my transmission pin is stuck or broken. Can anyone tell me how to check? The cylinder is working but the tractor will not come out of 4x4.
Have disconnected the cylinder and there is no resistance on the transmission lever. I noticed that you can pull it out about .5 inch I can move it back and forth and do fill It hitting something.
