Best thing to do is call a Massey -Ferguson dealer and ask them if you don't have a manual,if no manual you need one. best money is spent on a tractor manual. You may find one on ebay or amazon,I would try both. to get a manula.

Is the overflow milky and foamy? It would take more than a normal amount of water from condensation in the axle housing to make it milky colored. Your tractor isn't old enough to have much condensation in it yet, but it does happen over time. Possibly some water got left in from a flushing during manufacture of the housing??

I would first be sure how the building codes come into play for you. Either way would find a "trust" person who sells and designs them. Think that will save you a good bit of time and worry. KT

You can change buttons without taking it apart. Twist the two sheaves until you can get a spacer ( I use a 3/8 drive 1/2" socket )between the two helixes right below the button. That will give you enough room to work. You have to take them apart with a press.

The block heater on my 360 is on the bottom side of the water pump. Don't know if all are the same but maybe this will help.
Mine is a 1975 model 360.

It was a nice feature on those tractors but much like adding weight, once you do you won't go back but the hubs will have more leverage on them so the chance of them loosening is high. It is a good idea to check them within a short time and maybe after a few hours of operation. They very will take a set but if you think you hear a clunk from the wheel area chances are that is what it is coming from.

I have an oddball gator. It's a 98 turf 4x2. I'm trying to check the transmission fluid and findthe fill. There is no dipstick like the manuals show. any help would be appreciated

Ok. First, it doesn't use "gas" - and don't even think about adding any to the tank. It takes #2 diesel fuel. Next, the tractor data plate is typically located either inside one of the rear fenders (facing the seat) or the side of the transmission housing. The engine data plate is typically either on the valve cover or on the side of the block.

The procedure to get a diesel engine bled and primed has been discussed in detail many times here. If you don't have success with search terms "bleed" and "prime", I'll point you to a few specific threads.

The injector pump can be repaired. There's pages of detail near the end of the service manual ([l]http://service.mtdproducts.com/Training_Education/772-4207/772-4207.html[/l]) and most parts appear to be available (I use www.partstree.com to look parts stuff up). Again, if your dealer isn't up to doing a repair, maybe the Bosch guys are. Some variants of these injector pumps have a per-cylinder adjustment to balance the fuel injected but I don't spot this on the parts diagram; if they did, you definitely want somebody who has the right test stand.<br>

As far as hours, there's an hour meter on the dash (it really counts engine revolutions) - that's how you know when to do the routine service stuff like changing the oil.<br>
