Hi all!<br>
I have a Belarus 90hp 4x4. Starting system is 24V I have the power to the starter but when I turn the ignition I have no power to the starter solinoid. Where does the starter solinoid get its power? I am told the solinoid is 24v as well. all power off the ign is 12v. What hints do you have for me any help much apprieciated!

As you probably know, AW32 hydraulic fluid is as clear as - and almost a thin as - water. If what you drain out is thick, milky, discolored - give serious thought to flushing the system before pouring clean fluid into a dirty sump.<br>

And sounds like you've already sussed out the right game plan regarding the cylinder repair. So I don't think you need any more help from me on that front. Regarding all those other parts in the rebuild kit, put'em on your spares shelf. I'd say they fall into the "[i]if it ain't broke, don't fix it"[/i] category right now.<br>

These systems are vented, which means self-priming. Give the vent/fill plug a good bath in diesel fuel, and use compressed air to make sure the vents are open. After you top up a clean system, just exercise the hydraulics. There will be erratic operation for a brief period, while the circuits purge themselves of air (through the vent you just cleaned).<br>

I have a New Holland tractor that the body around the instrument panel down to the floor has broken into several pieces and come completely loose from the frame. All the fastening points broke of first and then the entire housing begin to break apart. Has anyone else had that kind of problem? The tractor is a TC29 purchased in 2000 with 1178.4 hours on it.

Sir,

I was not sure about the gasket that goes between the pump and the engine housing, I will get some gasket material.
Still have not gotten the rebuild kit yet, hopefully soon.

Hi Dave,

I have a TC33D and I just replaced the injectors. I am having the same black smoke problem. I can't seem to find the smoke screw. Can you give me some insight on where it is located?

Hi Jeff,

I have precisely the same problem with my TC33D. I just replaced the injectors and I am getting very heavy black smoke upon startup and throttle up.

Can you tell me where this smoke screw is located? I would be grateful if you could send me a copy of page regarding the adjustment (location/specifics of the adjustment). The grass has been growing like crazy and I have to get this up and running.

I don't know any specific tensle strngths of any category top link, but they have to about as strong as anything I've ever seen.
15,000 lbs. lift for a Cat three seems about right, they now have cat 4 and 5 so they would have a lift rating of probably in the 20,000+ range. I had a couple 8000 series Deere tractors with Cat 4 hitches, I have saw several occasions where lifting something too heavy with the three point brought the front end off the ground. The pull on that top link was more than I could believe it would handle.
I have never saw a top link pulled in half, but I have heard of, but didn't see where a three point hitch mounted backhoe pulled a chunk of casting out of the rear housing of a tractor, but the top link didn't fail.

To me the advice given all makes sense. One area auerbach touched on I will say in different words...if you can not afford for the machine to be down, be sure you are getting one parts and other support is very strong and convenient for. If not then pass regardless the brand or the deal.

Greg, the last link you gave has some interesting splitters. As you mentioned on the tank it is either hid or the beam has to be it. How about the splitter that looks a lot like this one but is manual jack? Well that is what it looks like to me in picture.

Aztractor, realize this is not what you asked but there has been many post here about how little you could buy a used self contained splitter for and not have your expensive tractor running for such work. Of course that will vary by region on the price and availability of used splitters.

I am pretty sure on the Ford 601 you push it up to increase the RPM. Would think it would be the same. Funny how you do something from subconscious memory thousands of times but can not be sure.
