i dont have any problem with fuel i think fuel in cold areas has anti gel in them. do you have any pic of your snow plow you use a hydraulic cylinder how does that work i use my winch all i have is a hook and one pin on the front hitch

Hi guys , my Dads looking at a BX2660 with 101 hrs, with the 60" mmm,front end loader, loaded rear tires,foam filled<br>
front tires , (r4 tires ,tread looks close to new),I asked what year it was the salesman wasn't sure , the sticker on the engine valve cover said 2008,wasn't the first year for the BX2660 2009?<br>
the salesman said it was sold since they opened this new location ,(under a year since they built the building),2009<br>
model?,the mower deck looks almost new underneath, bucket edge slight wear,tractor is like new condition is $13,300 a good price?,thanks in advance Craig.<br>

I'd like to know who that "someone" was who advocated a return to 55. If he/she was a politician it was more likely an excuse to raise revenue through traffic tickets. The hypocritical, double dealing politicians here in Oregon want 55 everywhere *except* between Portland and Salem. That's the route that most of them take to get to work.

My Dad had an air powered grease gun when he ran the gas station, the grease was in a sort of metal keg like about 15 gallon, maybe. I don't know if it had more pressure than a hand gun or if it was just more convenient than a hand gun.
Some of the neighbor farmers have the new battery powered hand grease guns, I've never used one of those either. I still use the regular old hand lever powered gun with a rubber hose. I don't know how much pressure one of those can produce, but I'd think more than we realize.

Thanks Greg but I found the missing pages.

If you turn on the key and you hear a clicking under the seat the fuel control unit is working and the pump [fuel, not injector] will run about 15 seconds. With engine running it [the unit] will turn on the pump as needed.

You can hot wire the pump if unit bad; or you can get a good price on one at boats.net[or com]- they are in Fla.

The international backhoe's that I've seen were normally quite heavy unlike those normally used on a compact tractor.
I'd say you could be getting yourself into trouble as far as the tractor goes with this unit on it.

All Kubota hoe's at this point have subframes and I think that has been there strong point for not having chassis issues as some of the other companies although they seem to also be having issues with just loaders as well.

Back to your question, not knowing how that hoe is hooked up to your neighbors tractor makes it harder to tell you what you need if you do decide to do it.

You could try a standard truck snow plow setup---but unless you're pushing light and fluffy material any front blade on a tractor is not going to work to good extent. I have a snow blade which I made rigid so it doesn't trip over on my 8000 lb skid steer. It is not good for any type of dirt work. And on a tractor it would be worse since the front wheels would be pushed the opposite direction the blade is turned.

Truly, a box blade IS the way to go. Just pull dirt rather than push it.

I did clean the ground wire on top of the motor that didn't help then I ran a ground wire to the black wire on the switch.that solved my problem . Thanks for all the info was a life saver at least helped my blood pressure thanks again Phil

I have a 570 Belarus with a 24 volt starting system. The polarity switch recently caught on fire and melted. I bought and installed a new switch and now when I try to start the tractor it just clicks and I am not getting 24 volts out of the switch. Any suggestions on what to do next and does any one know why it might have caught on fire to begin with? Thanks

The PTO cable/switch on the console is not activating the PTO and the belts on my Cub Cadet LT 1720 Hydro. Please help!!<br>

Last year the serviceman "fixed" it with new filters, blades, and mis- aligned the mowing deck. I got it aligned this weekend (what a fun process!!). The battery was dead but I could jump start it and the engine was running fine. Turn on the toggle switch for the PTO (this model does not have a nice lever handle like the old Cubbies!!) and NOTHING.<br>

Does anyone have a clue about how to FIX the cable, have the correct part number to get a replacement, and ideas about where I can find instructions to take the old one out and put in the new one? <br>

I love CC lawn tractors because I can use my hands, and not my right foot, destroyed/rebuilt after a car accident, and I don't want to go out and get another LT...just for a simple cable/toggle gone bad...<br>

Thanks Murf; I've learned a lot here today but I'm not sure I can retain that much information all in one day.
I'll spread the next batch just to be on the safe side.
I have a friend who claims to know more about a horse than the guy who invented them. He says that fresh grass clippings will kill a horse. I won't argue with him as I know less than nothing about a horse.
Anybody else here old enough to remember Mr. Ed, the talking horse? We could ask him I guess.

I'm not sure about that, I think it's more like the BB they put hydraulics on is just way heavier built.

According to the website the lighter version with manual scarifiers is built with a 4" x 4" x 1/4" main frame, mine has a 5" x 5" x 5/16" main frame. Likewise the end plates on mine are 3/8" plate, on the lighter duty one they're only 5/16" thick.

A 10" cylinder and a pivot mechanism isn't going to add more a ~100 pounds to the overall weight.
