You might be right but think you need to oil the pedal and it's linkage. Look and see if possibly there is a stick in the linkage or linkage got bent while being serviced.

Are you saying the tractor has a two stage clutch and the pto stage is not working now? Or you saying you want to know if you can adjust a single stage clutch to work like a two or dual stage clutch does?

Torque specs, for Y385 as given to me by JM Parts.com....
I used these specs in a build, and these are the results. All specs in Foot Poundsrather than Newton Meters.

Flywheel 36-44 Foot Pounds---About Right
Head 110-125 ---------- 125 is close to the failure point of bolts
Rod 36-44-------------About Right.. Note-for this bolt diameter,
80 foot pounds or so will ruin the bolts
Mains 81-95----------- Don't know, didn't change the mains.

Please be patient when researching data, and it might be wise to compare
torques and bolt diameters for high test bolts with fine threads, to see if the
specs seem right to you. The head and rod bolts are not marked with numbers to indicate their tensile strength, but I would assume they are high test.

I'm living in the Swiss Mountains (Europe)and since a few weeks I'm the proud owner of a John Deere Gator HPX 4x4 Diesel (2006) which has been running about 400 hours till now. Unfortunately the differential lock blocks by itself when I'm turning the Gator by driving forwards and backwards. After stopping and moving backwards, everything is working normally. The differential lock starts by itself even when I am driving normal (without differential lock and without 4-wheel-drive). What could be the problem?<br>

I don't know that line, and can't picture a three-way control, but if you're basically saying that the rear hitch slowly bleeds down when carrying a heavy raised implement...

... you might look for a rear-hitch check valve. It's likely a knob that you turn all the way in (clockwise) to lock the hitch from lowering. It goes without saying that the fluid should be clean and the right kind and amount.

On my 03 its a vent!,mine is white with a red cap, by extending it with a small piece of hose the problem disappeared!,I used a 6" piece of hose,if thats where the leak is coming from , it will fix it.

Secondary clutches will loosen up on their hubs and rattle. The rivets get loose. The clutches come right off, no puller needed. If a 13mm wrench fits the bolt holding it on, it is a backwards thread. Anything bigger is a normal thread.

Kubota sent seats out for these couple years ago at a very good price but more than likely there is none of those seats left at that price, might want to check with you local dealer. Is the tractor maybe still under warrenty, if so look at the seat were the back starts it's bend up, is the cover look like it's pulled away from the foam, if so, it should be replaced free. Just done one on a b3030 end of last year, and the service rep seen it and said to replace it. Don't realy know how much a new one is from Kubota, but the one you get to replace the old one isn't shaped like the old one and sits much better.

You will have to aleast buy a standard one spool valve, plump the power beyond hose through it.

Hi Greg, I wanted to first of all say thanks, I found and cleaned the screen. The hydralics will now lift the tiller. I have one more question in regards to this. The little lever you pull back to lift the tiller seems to have a top, middle, and bottom, nothing really happens except when you pull it all the way back and it lifts the tiller, then if you let go of the lever the tiller bleeds off and goes to the ground pretty slow, but does go down. Lastly when I put it to what I would think would be the lowering position, no change really takes place.

I'm wondering if theres a valve or something that also needs cleaning or if this is pretty natural for these little SU1341's. Would appreciate your's or anyones elses thoughts on this. Thanks

Realize if your tractor had remote hyd you would go that way so another possible low cost option is find a used pto driven hyd cutter or such with operating pump and valve assembly.

If I understand what you are asking how about a used hyd log splitter or quick disconnect fittings on a log splitter?

Just wondering, how long is long distance shooting? What kind of caliber?

Here long range is 200 yards which I know you probably consider iron sight shooting possibly even handgun.

This past Saturday as I was using my TWO wheel drive tractor and looking at my FOUR wheel drive parked under shelter a thought hit me on my comments...my brain likes simplier ideas. So I hauled and dumped another load of dirt and went back for another. Weather was great,so this is why have equipment, to play in the dirt...I mean work the dirt.
