Removed carb and cleaned again. Reassembled with no change in operation. Played with choke, choke works as it should. I am stumped! I had previously replaced the spark plug with no change in operation. Is there anything electrical that might be happening? This motor ran perfect and died while running at 5 mph. I have a lb2204 and just ran into the exact same problem. The diagram for the yanmar looks just like my kioti. do you have a hyd cyl linking onto the steering arm? i have one but couldnt find it anywhere in my parts manual either under steering or hydralics. good luck. i dont think this will be an easy fix

I'm thinking that you get it as close as you can and the equalizer handles the rest. Essentially it is putting the same pressure on each cable because of the equalizer, even if it's crooked. It is a primitive system and if the brakes work at all you are ahead of the game. There are many 600, 622, and 626 AMTs around with little or no brakes. Thats why everything in the system needs to be as close to perfect as you can get it.

I have the BX 50" blower on my B7610, I paid around $2400 in 2004 for it new. The blower works well by the way. The blower uses the loaders control valve. Your dealer may have priced the blower assuming you were not getting the loader in which case he'd have to sell you the control valve.

"Tractor Hunting" is a sport of it's own, kinda like antique hunting only our goal is something big and greasy.
I bought a used 1953 Super M Farmall in about 62-63 then later traded it for something bigger. Since it was the first tractor I bought on my own after having dad let me use his till I could afford one on my own. A few years ago I had a dream of finding the "Super" back. I did find it on a farm about twenty miles north of me but the guy said it's his favorite too and wouldn't sell it. I know the man is still living and still lives where he did, so I'll bug him about it again, maybe he's changed his mind.
Even if it comes to an auction I'm sure I'll pay more for it the second time than the first, but I'll have to outlive him first.

bartrr, Drive belt always turns and both clutches always turn. The belt guard/brace is important because it holds the motor in place under acceleration. Can you run without one? It probably has been for awhile. The bolts are probably broken off or stripped in the holes in the head where it goes. It should be on there. Deere doesn't have kits for carbs, you have to buy everything seperately.

I have just had a dealer complete a 50 hour service on my b2320. He changed the transmission oil to UDT and now the hst pedal is very sluggish. The tractor also "runs on" a bit when my foot is lifted off the pedal. As the pedal is slow to return, the rod that operates the safety switch does not return properly and the starter wont turn when next I try to start. I have to Physically pull the rod back under the tractor to get it to start. I think these symptoms are because the super UDT oil which the manual says it came with was not replaced. I can't get the super udt here in australia as kubota don't bring it in. Interestingly the manual has a paste over lube spec which says either oil can be used however when I peeled the paste over off the original manual says only super udt. I have informed the dealer who is supposed to be coming to look at it but I am not holding my breath. I may have to adjust the travel on the safety switch so that it operates at a lesser distance from the operating rod<br>
Any ideas or comments?<br>

NCWTractor agrees with Murf. But, we would like to add that the IH254 was made by Mitsubishi.<br>
On those models there is an electronic solenoid that shuts off the fuel pump that is controled in link with your ignition switch and a control unit underneath the dash on the right hand side(check the side dash panel for 2 phillips head screws). You will find a control unit behind it. It will look like a voltage regulator (flat black box).<br>

Pull out your solenoid and check it. It should have 2 wires. Hook a hot lead to one and a ground lead to the other. If it clicks every time you touch it with a ground lead it is still good. Your problem could be a bad connection somewhere or a problem with your control unit.<br>

Well, ran it uo a hill and when it quit turned it off and removed the plugs. Both were the same, dry and slightly white. Removed Carburtor, reinspected all jets, removed floats, needle valve and blew out. Jets are all clean. All seems ok. Carburator overall looks good. Replaced all gaskets. Machine shows a little improvement but today is a lot warmer and that could be part of it. Noticed when in neutral and give it gas it bogs at first then grabs and picks up rpm like my old car when the timing needed to be advanced. I guess the next step is to buy a Ig moduel unless anyone can think of anything else to try first.

Excellent points as to aspect and load ratios. I had noticed that the l3400 had a turf that appeared to be the same dimension but I'm told the rims are different. So I'm pretty well stuck with wheels from the 2710,2910,3030, and 3200; I may have found a used set which is way better than new at full price (ouch).

I'd rather be sure of the correct size than have to remember not to use 4 wheel drive occasionally. thanks

Could you email a picture of your power steering unit that is leaking? I think I have a leak, but on the left side that I cannot get stopped.

The pickup screen should be in the sump. Find the suction line that feeds the pump. Follow it back to the sump. At the end of that line - inside the sump - should be the suction screen. <br>

Shibaura is a grey market tractor, this is a grey market forum, more than one grey market parts seller hangs around here. With luck, one of them with Shibaura parts will see this thread and join in.<br>

QDs can clog up too, stalling the pump. But by your description, only the suction screen could do that on your tractor. Otherwise, the pump drive has quite possibly stripped. Thing is, some external force usually is responsible for jamming those pump drives. If your suction screen is not clogged, you still need to make sure the hydaulic flow around the entire loop is not impeded. Otherwise you might do the same thing to a replacement pump<br>
