I have a TC33D with R-4s and use it in my business to cut 6 acres with a 3Pt finish mower. It only leaves tire marks when the grass (over clay) is very saturated--just walking on it will do the same thing.

And yes it's overkill; at the least redundant.

Oh should prove to be interesting driving a manual. I will need to get used to feathering the clutch.

Emerich - Did those quotes include the loader/mower, or are those the price for the base tractor, loader/mower being extra? (Just wondering, either way the tractor is lower hours, and has what I want at the right price)

ddudeck, before you get too excited, check your machines serial number, if it's higher than 61866 then you already have the mod. in your unit from the factory, if not, it should be covered.

No, it's just the word "sharp" in this context means ground to a 45� bevel on the top side only, and with a 1/8" blunt face edge.

This is a lawn mower after all, you're not going to shave with it, just cut grass.

I've seen blades ground to a razor edge lots, and on a situation like a golf course quality piece of turf, it will probably work, but on your lawn it sure won't.

The blades will stay "sharp" a lot longer ground as described above, and give you a better, less damaging cut longer, than they will if you grind them to a fine edge.

I know this is an old thread, but just my experience might save someone a bit of greif. I used to have an all terrain forklit with a Chrysler gasoline powered industrual slant six. Carburetor was shot, overhaul it OK. Nope there weren't any parts on the planet or even a replacement carb that wasn't worn out too. A friend donated me an LP conversion, that didn't work in cold weather, so save that effort. Finally a local guy who works on old Fords recoginized the internal organs of my carb as being identical to a fifty something ford pickup six cylinder carb., she came back to life.

Hoopes, the backhoe does well for a sub-compact. I live in the Northern Cal mountains. Lots of clay and big rocks. Patience is key but I get it done. Plus it keeps me out of the house and those ever present honey doos. Did your price come with any other attachments??

Insulting the very group from which you hope to get some parts leads - isn't a very bright way to open the subject Allen. If I was a Lenar devotee, I'd just ignore you and move on. But your attitude is clearly not your friend's fault, so it seems reasonable for him to simply start with the company itself (link below). If he can't get parts direct, stands to reason at least they'd try to point him in the right direction. <br>

If it is a M125383 belt, you must have a serious alignment problem or a real bad clutch. Is the brace between the motor and the transaxle there and tight on both ends? The spring inside the drive clutch could be broken not allowing the moveable sheave to push in as it decelerates. Or the driven clutch could be binding up and not closing as you decelerate. If your brace is not there or not tight, you could have egged out the motor mount holes and the motor could be out of alignment. Also make sure all the motor mount bolts are tight.

I have a Belarus 420A tractor, and I ran it out of fuel. I replaced the filter and the fuel injector primer pump. If I pump the primer, and Bleed the air out of the lines, it will run for approx 3-5 minutes. I drained the oil on the injector pump and replaced it, just incase it was low. When I cranked the tractor up it blew out some of the oil, but the oil that blew out smelt like there was some diesel in it.I have been messing this since late summer. Does anyone have more ideas short of buying a new pump?

Yeah, mine has 32 hours and started dropping one cylinder for no apparent reason (after its up to temp) and then pouring smoke out like a steam locomotive. My JD dealer says theres some safety mechanism that shuts off one cylinder under certain conditions. My question is, WHAT CONDITIONS??? I've not changed the usage at all, and now this all the sudden. I'm really pissed, and I'm less than one year into 36 payments. I didn't drop 12k on the supposedly "best" to get this!

Point well taken! I do understand where y'all are coming from. I�m not jumping into the fire on this. I�m trying to research everything first and then see what may come around as reality. I have looked at both sides of this and Yes, it would be nice to think we could sell all of it and make a great amount, but I'm realistic enough to realize that would be the topping on the dream. Reality, I would probably come closer to Bartering for what we wish to accomplish. One good piece of good news, today, I talked to the County Commissioner and the Service Department in Wortham and found out they have a project coming up, which they will need soil. So, we will be talking! This will be about 2 miles from our land, so, something may be able to be worked out. It�s a start. <br>

Yup, I'm with you on that, Bagged uo the stuff and put upstairs for future install. I started to remove some paneling that I had started,wanted to look and see how bad that was, it's wet as well, I will be able to reuse it as it came off pretty easy, just had to slice it along the top edge because the drop cieling is in place at that location.

Thanks for your reply Gatoraider. I wish I could tell you it was any one thing...........but it's not. It has done it in a turn, while accelerating, while braking, lights on, lights off, any number of scenarios, but not one thing I can pinpoint and say "that was the cause" I guess I will have to isolate one thing at a time and hope for the best.
I'll let you know if I find anything.

I honestly don't know, I checked the manual and nothing was stipulated. I thought that a fuse area would be ridiculous to house in a location that would be entirely aggravating to access.

THE GOOD NEWS THOUGH! I'm kind of embarrassed to tell you this.

Removed the red filters from both tail lamps and WALLAH!

The left bulb wasn't plugged in properly, now it is and it works fine.

The same goes to the right one, it was literally just laying inside, rolling around. That one was put back in and oh yeah, I have tail lamps and don't have to go any further.

I went out today and moved the stone around that I destroyed in my driveway and also smoothed out some ground that was torn up. I was AMAZED at how much power these loaders have. When I ran a Bobcat I expected it, but found myself very surprised at how this tractor (and probably all tractors like this) move dirt and rock so easily.

You would have driven by and thought I was a pro on this thing, I think I finally got it. Now I'm trying to gentle the way I move the lever. It's decent but I think I could be a little more fluid with the movements.

I'm really glad I got on here and asked for advice, not sure if I mentioned it, but I have that new ROPS pin coming in the mail, can't wait to have it 100%

OHHHHHH, the only other thing that concerned me is that the rear Woods mower lowered itself over a period of time when the motor was off. My buddy moved it out of the garage to work on the house and left it up.

Is that normal? I don't see any fluid leaking, the lines are perfect and it runs 100%

Very strange. It didn't happen quickly, it was over an hour or so.

No problem filling the tires with liquid.
If in a cold climate there are charts for the amount of
calcium chloride to use per gallons of water for lowering the freezing point. Instead of buying expensive equipment to pump it in buy/rent a small submersible pump.
Next you will need a small wet vac. Mix Cal/Chlo in a plastic barrel large enough to fill one tire. Old USN way of mixing brine was when a potato floats it's good for around minus 5 to zero. Next you need some plastic TYGON
or rubber hose to fit over the valve stem and a way to
connect it to the pump and a set of visegrip pliers.
Remove valve core from stem. Push rubber or tygon hose over stem. Connect other end to wetvac hose via reducers.
Pull a good vacuum on tire/tube. Clamp tube close to
vac hose to prevent air from entering. Connect hose removed from vac to submersible pump and plug it in.
NOTE: BE DAMNED SURE PUMP IS PLUGGED INTO A GFI !!!
Fill TO 75% full for some cushion effect. If need be, have stem the highest point in case the vac is needed again. How to tell when about 3/4 full? Tap tire with a
hammer handle, figure out amount of gallons or just feel
the temperature of the tire as the water will more than likely be colder than the tire. Worked many times for me.

One thing I would do before anything else is run a ground wire from the bolt that holds the regulator onto the frame to the motor or starter.
