I have gotten good reliable service from my Kubota. Hopefully you have a Kubota dealer near you, they will have anything you need. Mine was even able to print me a new manual for me to give to the buyer who purchased it when I sold it. I replaced my faithful Kobota with a 45hp Kioti hydrostat. I am very pleased but again, having the dealer 3 miles down the road is a great comfort. Good luck with your new rig.

Assuming the tractor is used in Florida, AW32 (or ISO32) hydraulic fluid is appropriate. Make sure however that you actually are getting hydraulic fluid and and machine oil. The latter will likely foam.

High pressure leaks should not be subjected to "field expedient repairs". But your description sounds like a leak in the (low pressure) supply line. Is the one that's leaking rigid (metal) or flexible (rubber)?

Any time you have an issue with a hdrostat drive not performing the first step should always be to clean the screen on the pickup tube, then change the filter and if it's due, the fluid also.

If that doesn't cure it check the linkage and that the pressure gauge is set and functioning correctly.

Well, found out why she wouldn't stay engaged... Completely wasted PTO gear and countershaft. And that wasn't the worst of it. I really could have handled just replacing the gears, countershaft and bearings, but what REALLY sucked was that the rear transmission case was cracked right through the internal webs that hold the bearings in place. Dropped some heavy coin on that part even with the sweet discount I get from my dealership owning buddy. Long story really short: Cost a bunch of $ but the transmission never worked better. The damn tractor still has all it's electrical gremlins. Oh well, it's working.

Could be anything from a bad bearing, broken brake pad, or a bad spider in the differential. Your best bet is to buy a service manual and go from there.

I see this is continuation of another post of yours. Generally, if someone has something to add they respond very quickly. No responses means no one has anything constructive to offer.

KT, drilling the holes isn't the hard part. Finding the flat stock and cutting the perimeter shape would be the hard part. Actually, fabricating the governor hookup would probably be the worst.

I put the seal in last night and put the two halves aback together. Used the shift shaft to put it in forward reverse and neutral and all was well except for forward. Still don't lock up in the forward position.

I will have to split it again and dig a little deeper. Must be something wrong around the input shaft and gears there. The gear must not be locking up when I put it in forward although it did before I put back together. Must have been enough slop to allow it to bite. Suspect something is stripped off there somewhere.

Gotta go out of town a few days so it will next week before I get a chance to split it again.

In the old wiring diagram that I got with the owners book (not a repair manual) As far as I can see there is a wire that came off the original generator / alternator that connected to a regulator and then a second wire that shares the same connection point on that regulator. From there the second wire goes to what they are calling the instrument panel connector plug. It is showing this plug as two seperate parts on the drawing. I suspect one side may be male and the other female and they likely plug into each other. This is where it gets difficult to trace the wiring since none of it is color coded or numbered. The wire appears to run thru this connector and then to the (+) or positive side of the amp meter and continues on to splice into what looks like a wire that leads to a fuse on the fuse block. From the splice it appears to run to what they are calling a junction block that seems to carry the power to the upper & lower beams and marker light and the signal lite on one side of the tractor. That junction block also has a wire that leads over to the junction block on the opposite side of the tractor for those lights.

I can't see any purpose for the old regulator now since the transplanted delco alternator has the built in regulator............ Could this work..............
Say I hook up another wire from the same connection point on the delco alternator that charges the batteries now and connect it to the second wire that is sharing the same connection point on the original regulator. I could disconnect that second wire from the old regulator and splice in that feed directly from the delco alternator. As far as I can determine that appears to be the 12 volt wire that could power up the whole fuse block.
Presently none of my instruments or lights are working.
I would appreciate any suggestions that could be helpful.

Until recently I had a JD4110 which has 15 hp on the PTO and I ran a Meteor 48in 3 pt snowblower. I never had any problem with this set-up. I had an FEL and thw weight was o.k.If you don't have an FEL, you will need extra weight in front because you will loose traction on your front wheels.

Naw, AgraCat went bust in 2003. The folks who bought them are just lucky that they're really Jinmas underneath. The current selection of Chinese tractors imported to the USA includes Jinma (like the AgraCat), Foton, DF, YTO. But to confuse the issue thoroughly, individual dealers can opt to have them "badged" by the factory. That is, they're Jinma or Foton or DF tractors underneath, but are being sold with special paint and/or decals to look like a product unique to a specific dealer or distributor. <br>

But the color and the decals are just cosmetic, and the prices are going to reasonably competitive - but decidedly cheaper than the Japanese/Korean/Indian tractors hiding under "American" paint and decals. What's important is whether you have confidence that the dealer you buy from will back you up during the warranty period. After that, mail order parts from any like dealer are usually the name of the game. For example, I get nearly all my parts from a dealer over in Arkansas. Phone or email before noon, parts arrive 2-3 days later.<br>
