The only ITC I'm aware of was based in Covington, IN, and they sold Millenium/Tong Yang tractors, too. They had a 24HD and a 25HD that was listed, but no other info...

I'm pretty sure the radiators not the problem, especially since it doesn't have one. LOL

This is a big old air-cooled garden tractor.

These machines were known for running hot, right from new, but more so as they got older.

About all you can do is add supplementary cooling, some people have made up shrouds that direct air from 12 volt fans from small cars across the engine, others have even come up with ways to cool the engine, transmission, and sometimes both, oils by pumping them through small coolers intended for auto transmissions (sometimes fan cooled) then back to the sumps.

There are specialty user boards for these machines too, but they all have the same answer, they run hot.

I'm certain that you provide the finest level of customer service, I was simply the exception to that rule. where was the customer service when I called you?? I tried to post my complaints on tractor BYNET back when this happened but the moderators snatched down my picture proof as soon as I put it up. And stop it with the biblical gesticulation, GOD knows what you did and you will have to answer for it someday hypocrite. and I didnt give away a "good" tiller, I gave away an inferior piece of equipment that I could not in good conscience take money for. if that CCM tiller would of just tilled deeper than 2-1/2 inch's and came with customer service It would of been a good tiller. in my case the warranty covered everything but my complete satisfaction.<br>

Ended up buying a new Case Farmall 35 with L340 FEL. Dealer incentives made the price good and getting a warranty seemed like a good idea to me. Haven't delivered the tractor yet so can't report on performance yet.

New Holland's with Supersteer were higher priced. To me personally, the supersteer didn't seem to be worth the difference.

Test drove the John Deere with MMM and learned quickly that mower in the highest position dragged on the ground too often for my tastes. Wasn't a "drive over" style qick attach. Didn't think I could sell the mower myself and recover the cost difference.

Thanks very much for the advice. Have read through many threads and really gained a lot of info from your various discussions.

Don't know if you have the type with the cylinder down the side of the tractor, or the later type between the front wheels. But - assuming we're talking about the same thing - in both cases the end of the chrome rod that sticks out of the hydraulic cylinder should be mated to a painted connecting rod. Take it apart there.<br>

Blue wire to fan should be hot all the time. Unplug the radiator core temperature switch. Take the two wires you unplugged from the switch and join them together. The fan should run. If it doesn't, it's bad. Double check with a ground wire to a good ground. If the fan is good the switch is bad. Fans are pricey, I may have a used one if you need it, I don't think you can buy a fan by itself.

I have a 1925 New Holland Tractor. I am having trouble with the 30 amp fuse located near the starter. It blows when I turn the ignition switch to light the glow plugs. I can start the tractor by not engaging the glow plugs and cranking the starter with 3 or 4 short burst but sometimes this also causes the fuse to blow. So far I have replaced my battery and had the starter checked. The started checked out OK. I pulled the glow plugs and checked them with an olm meter and they checked ok that way. Any suggestions on what might be going on would be appreciated.

Good plan, but it won't work.

A 36" well tile lid weighs over 600 pounds, 613 in the case of the company we use.

A B7800 with a LA402 FEL has a [b][u]rated[/u][/b] lift capacity 1,060 pounds at the pins, and 760 pounds at the "middle of bucket". That's a ~30% decrease from the pins to the middle of the bucket. If you extend that out another foot or more, and decrease by another (only) 30% you're down to ~530 pounds.

Now you have a 'lift rating' of ~85% of what you need to lift.

And that's assuming the machine can actually lift what it's 'rated' for, which IMHO is never going to happen.

I did a lot of research on Mahindra prior to buying a Kubota years ago. They are a widely used tractor in developing third world countries like India. They have a well needed place in certain markets, mainly because of their price, just like a KIA or a Hundai. Nothing wrong with that if that is what fits your needs. Every time I have ever traded in my Kubota for a new one I have always done very well on the trade in value and love the machines. Be careful, as I just posted in a previous thread, you can go broke saving money. Also the previous response to mine speaks volumes.

I think few foreign large tractors were ever sold in North America, and fewer still were Lambos, so unless somebody here knows the answer, the place to seek information would be Venice.

Option 1. Needs a puller. Simple job in the right shop. Then rebuild.

2. Keep the new ones on standby but continue using the old ones. Could last two days or two decades.

3. Switch out both or all three.

The blades are a separate matter.

Easier to clean and less to scrape and paint is mostly the reason. We raise horses and there is cattle here from time to time and manure and muck combined with Florida rains is rusts best friend. Don't get me wrong if it was a heavy duty, big power and strenght issue then steel is the wat to go. That not being the case I went for easy.

Kenny, I'm used to modern diesels (Cummins) in a cab with noise control insulation. This truck doesn't have any of that!

I found at 40 mph it's reving at 2200 RPM, at 45 2800 and 50 it's 3200---I don't really plan on faster than that pulling 15,000 lb. The mechanic who adjusted the timing and carb rebuild said it's screaming, but I don't think so now. Another site for trucks said his pickup screams at 3,500 RPM doing 60-65. Some said I should expect 4,500.

I wonder if there are other synthetic fluids you could substitute. Of course, you will need to purchase filters so that may mean a trip to the dealer anyway. Good luck Bill.
