Just an idea here. It's an electric PTO clutch. Maybe there's a wiring problem to the clutch itself (torn or disconnected wire or bad fuse).

It's a top loader, and I tried turning the PTO backwards thinking the same thing, that it was just bound up.. Really dont want to split that thing bleh

UPDATE: I went thru the credit card company they were very helpful. Many hoops to jump thru. Time lines to meet and 30 business days plus other stuff.

Mowproducts did finaly refunded my money. THEY WAITED RIGHT DOWN TO THE CREDIT CARDS TIME LIMIT! I am not so sure that the credit card company had to contact them.

IT MAKES ME VERY ANGRY WHEN I DEAL WITH A LOW LIFE BUSINESS LIKE THAT!

I am looking for the front rims on a Hinomoto E222.<br>
12" with a 4 bolt pattern that are 3 1/2" fromt center of bolt to center of next bolt. Center cap is also 3 1/2".<br>
Can anyone help as to where I can locate and buy these items.<br>

This is only general. Doubt you would be able to see hyd oil looking in fill port.
Look for a dip stick. Look under the seat. It also could be a sight guage which I would think would be on side of transmission. Doubt it would be a plug to remove.
Where to drain it from, should be able to find a plug on the bottom or bottom of the side for that.
No idea on what type of oil it uses.

I suspect it had enough water or gel in it to clog your filter. If it is a clear bowl try removing it and draining. Pay attention to what is in the bowl such as water or gel. Should have a good flow and clean fuel with filter removed. If you can not tell run some in a clear glass (or on flat metal surface works fine) if possible and give it a few moments and the water will bead. If the fluid is clean suspect air. It is possible it has air in the system and you need to bleed it.

If you don't use a stablizer in your diesel fuel you ought to.

According to www.messicks.com (where I buy my parts) they diagram shows only one filter (FILTER, ELEMENT 87300041
1 Needed for Job). The only parts at the tank appear to be a return line and the fuel gauge sending unit which run up the back of the tank and under a plastic or metal cover.

The diagram shows the fuel line coming off the bottom of the tank to the right of center (possibly) and running through another larger tube along with the return line to the filter bowl assembly.

Not my spring it seems.

Started mowing the fields today, tractor running fine. Stopped to help boss unload groceries and the tractor wouldn't start, dead battery. Tried to jump it, no luck. I always watch the gauges and recall it was charging fine, not to mention that the battery was strong upon initial start.

Checked the voltage, 10V. Grabbed a spare, threw it in and she fired right up....then died, starved for fuel. Cleaned fuel bowl and tried again, no luck. Cleaned jets and now she is fine. Been having that trouble since E10, can't wait for the E-15.

I check belt tension whether new or old, and I didn't think bad bearings could make that kind of noise. BUT: last year a spindle failed so the others, now 30 years old, could go any time, so you may well be right.

Maintenance is key, no doubt about it.

Some of the units that I've sold out of the fleet and were bought by people I know are now at 12,000+ hours and still going strong.

I also know of machines that were dead after just 1,000 hours.

As for things like industrial diesels in ships and generators and such, that's a whole different creature. They are built very differently than what we are using in a small tractor.

A friend of my fathers is a retired Coast Guard man and spends his winters in the south, the other 8 months of the year he lives on a converted tug boat that was built in the 1940's for the war effort. The engine in his tug was well over 20,000 hours. It had however had some pretty major work done to it over the years, but it's still chugging along.

If a hydro trans did you check fluid?

Did you check all levers to be sure all were engaged as auerbach is asking? Still have clutch pressure when you depress the pedal?
