I have good news to report...it stopped raining in Harrisburg PA, and finally got the TC55DA started as follows:

1. Removed all the fuses from the fuse box since the inside of the fuse box was still pretty dusty and dirty.
2. Blew out all dirt and dust with compressed air.
3. Sprayed electric motor cleaner on the fuse box knife contacts and dried with compressed air.
4. Scrapped corrosion off fuses with a razor blade before reinstalling.

Lessons learned:
1. When I discovered fuses were corroded with white oxidation film and continuity readings were zero in allot of places on the fuses, I should have been more diligent to clean the fuses and fuse contacts!

2. Fuse box is poorly designed since it is not sealed to prevent dust and corrosion products from entering.

3. I would expect this is a chronic problem on all non-sealed New Holland Tractors that operate in a dusty environment (I know we normally use tractor to cut pasture grass, but it is also used to drag an outdoor horse riding ring which at times is very dusty).

Even though this catastrophic electrical system failure was not related to installing spray pump wire, it was merely coincidental; anyway, I decided to run the wire directly to the battery versus the alternator!

Just finished an hour ago mowing the second time with the bagger. I'm getting more used to dumping it now and the Mrs. likes the clippings for the garden and flowers. Now that someone mentioned it I do remember seeing a pull bhind deal with a seperate engine to help the blower on the mower get the clippings to the back of the box. Oh, and the Gator blades, I took the deck off the mower that had the Gators on it. the underside of the deck was packed with about an inch of the hardest crap I ever had to dig out of a deck. I never got a squirrel with them but I did once get a mole with a mower, he peeked out at the wrong time, poor fella.

Mike, No idea in Florida but many states dept of Agriculture have a classified type publication for farmers for such as this. Some have them on line and in print and others states may have only one or the other. I would check your State Dept of Agr web site to see if they do and list my need there.

There is a business near me who was a long time IH and then Case dealership who was known for a great stock of parts. They no longer sell tractors but still do parts and service work. You may wish to give them a call. The name is Mullins Truck and Tractor at 843-464-8255.

I have a Shibaura SL1603. The controls beside the power lift joystick are labled in Japanese.Is there any way to find out how to operate these controls? I was told they control the depth of the tiller.Any info would be greatly appreciated.

KT, you are right but the LLC does protect the owner from stupid mistakes and accidents caused by a hired employee. If you, the owner are the operator you are out on a limb with no protection because you can be sued by anyone for anything.

It would probably end up a bunch cheaper to get a standard blower and use a quick-tatch plate to mount it to the SSL then just belt-drive a 24hp engine on the input shaft to power it.

Whoops, sorry! In this case, the NH refers to New Holland! I don't know of a dealer in New Hampshire, although I'm sure there are some. The dealer I'm having really good results with is in Binghamton, New York.

You won't need another tank. The oil that is leaving the cylinder is recirculating back to the pump. Heat of the oil would be the main problem if you were continuously cycling it but that is unlikely.
The wiring is very straightforward. There are only 2 wires at the pump. The pump is reversible so the positive and negative power is reversed in the switch that you use. Kind of like a pendant control for a hoist with an up and down button.

Thanks for the replies. I priced out the solenoid timer - it is $173. The fuel shut-off solenoid I previously replaced, and is burned out again, was $150. The dealer told me the timer should make the voltage should drop from 12v to 6v after about 10 seconds. I will put a volt meter on the hot to the fuel shut-off solenoid to verify whether the voltage drop occurs. If it doesn't I guess it's safe to assume that the problem is with the timer and that it will need replaced along with purchasing another fuel shut-off solenoid. Thanks again.

I am new to this board. I need front drive components for the Case IH 275MFD tractor. Parts for the Mitisibushi mt300d and the mt310d are the same as the case, there may be other that fit also like the Satoh 3240 Bolen. etc. Specifically, I need the lower gear housing but would be interested in other front drive parts including the entire front drive.<br>

Kubota's mower drive system is very strong and will mow some things that might be considered brush hog material. The 1860-2360 are both low machines that would help keep the center of gravity low on hill sides.
Kubota's build quality has been hard to beat for anyone although many people have had success with other makes.
