Hello,<br>
I am new to this board. I need front drive components for the machines listed above, they are the same as the Case IH 275MFD tractor. Specifically, I need the lower gear housing but would be interested in other front drive parts including the entire front drive.<br>

It's a good brand, been around for a long time. That model struck me as small for its power -- or powerful for its size. There's a free safety recall on it -- the hi/lo lever pops into neutral on its own.

ir, you were blessed in the aftermath of them coming lose.

A few years back I had a trailer to come loose my father in law was pulling that had a safe and guided landing also. The locking pin was not installed and my sister in law realized it but said nothing and the safety chain was bolted to the trailer and the bolt(s) sheared. Lost a $5 pin and maybe $10 of material from load on trailer. All in all, very good ending to what could have been bad.

I'd be surprised if you had 2 bad ones in a row.

In fact, it's been my experience that they rarely go bad, new or old.

I'd be looking carefully at the wiring to the solenoid itself, it doesn't take much corrosion, particularly on the ground wire, to cause the solenoid not to function properly.

Jeff, same as I said in my post, even though he's running the A/C don't forget that unit is also the heater.

If there is still hot water from the engine getting to the heater core it will be quite hot.

update on repaired cylinder---pd. kubota dealer $70 for 1 hr. work to put seal kit in cyl. almost 2 wks. later and no leaks--am happy camper execpt for last fri. the wife and I rec'd. our federal tax refund in the mail($1842). WOOPEE!!! I thought I could get the other cyl. done now. WRONG!!!!-- wifie said we needed the money to pay for the new hardwood floor we just put down. still waiting for her stimulus ck. to arrive though. lol

I've been looking on line and cannot get any dealer of any tractor brand to lists in Binghamton New Hamshire,, You can get many at Bing New York/.. Are you sure New Hampshire or is this a used tractor place

Hydraulic sump is under the seat. Fill/vent is top rear, you might have to slide the seat forward for full access. Should have a dipstick attached, likely with one mark. I consider that the full mark, and only add fluid when the dipstick comes out dry. Don't screw it back in to check fluid level, just set it on the hole. <br>

Engine oil dipstick in the normal place, tranny/diff should be in front of the seat - perhaps painted red. Front diff same thing. <br>

Edit: I just realized you typed 250A, which suggests two-wheel drive. That means no front differential. But just in case, did you actually mean to type 254A ?<br>

It's almost gotta be the starter switch. If the starter is running that means the red wire connected to the solenoid is hot. It gets it's voltage from the switch, it's just getting it one click too early.

Hi,

I just bought a used Gator Turf from my wife's uncle.

I would like to add the same setup for hydraulic lift on the dump box as jbjpam.

My only question is this: Is there enough resevoir in the tilt trim pump? Or would it need another tank for when the cylinder is all the way down? Are these little pumps hard to wire up or straight forward? I have hooked up other things with relays and switches so I'm not too worried.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks for the welcome earthwrks I am new member to this forum sorry if I seemed a little agitated on my last post. This seems to be a great forum for getting info and problem solving. I posted a problem I have been having with my backhoe and two people have already give me great advise. I started to buy the road boss they brought to me and demoed but it was priced to high for the amount of steel in it and labor it would take to build one. well after thinking about it I think I figured one of the reasons the price was so high. Think about it, the unit they demoed to me I didn't buy and that has to cost a great deal of money to go around and demo to people, some of which don't buy, so that means they have to pass that cost off to the customers who do buy, I would think and it would also seem that some people would end up having to buy one that is not new but has been demoed to some other people.

Thanks for the advise I am a new member it nice to have a forum to get advise from other people with equipment and I will post a reply once I know what the problem is when I get it fixed But I think some of the things yall mentioned sounds like the problem or problems.

I've got two 345's but no mountains, we're flatlanders here. In my conditions I couldn't ask for a more dependable machines. Deere has so many models of moweres that it seems no situation could go unanswered as far as as safety equipmwent or any other requirement. I know basicly nothing about Kubota moweres othere than they are orange. Having a good nearby dealer would likely be the best decision maker, as either brand will have what you need. Frank.

I doubt if you'll find anything other than Deere, probably because that's the way Mr. Deere wants it. He has always tried to keep others out and has done a pretty good job. That's all part of buying a Green Machine. What are they charging for a pad kit?

You might also want to check your brakes to be sure they aren't dragging. If you have it on a level surface and put the transmission in neutral, You should be able to push it easily by hand, or if you jack it up, the rear wheels should rotate freely.

Glad to hear it was a fairly simple repair. I didn't realize they started using the electronic clutch control on the 4x10 series reverser. The 4x00 series had a rod.
