i have a 1996 Gator 6x4 gas.<br>
think i have stale fuel in my gas tank. quite possibly some water in there, too.<br>
need some advise on how to remove old existing gas from the tank and to clean and dry it out before adding fresh fuel. is it possible to do this without completely removing the tank?

Yup, sure looks overly SPAM'ish to me too. Especially since he dragged up several old threads just to insert what appears to be an infomercial.

In the other thread he says he purchased it a few years back, but sure has a fine memory for detail if that's the case.

Maybe we should give the gent a few days to respond before we delete his posts though, just in case.

Try to buy a service or parts manual for it from a dealer, or offer to buy photocopies of the relevant pages. And search for a dealer or owner who's parting out one of those models.<br>

I figured if I ever bought another new tractor, it would be a make with no history of major components shattering in normal use. The list keeps getting smaller!

The best grader I have found is Dura-Grader. This company invented and patented the first twin blade grader and still have patented graders. I purchased a model 700Adj grader from them a few years back and it works perfect. If a fuse is blowing it is indicating a short circuit causing excessive current in the circuit.

However, a safety switch or such can't do it because it is merely a switched (trigger) wire to ground from a solenoid anyways.

It has to be in the high load side of the circuit between the solenoid and the magnetic clutch itself. If the short is an area where the insulation has rubbed off a wire or the clutch coil itself, then the bumping (that likely caused the exposed area in the first place) could be causing the exposed area to short to ground.

I agree there is a design problem, however base on my dealings with MH they will blame you for the problem. MH representative would not even discuss it with me.

That same manual should specify what type of fluid to use, but generally speaking any universal TDH (meaning transmission / differential / hydraulic) fluid will do the job. It should be available at any farm supply, tractor dealer or even a good hardware store.

I don't know of any compact tractors that have it, but one of the older garden tractors, can't remember which had it, and the Belarus and Zetor line of bigger farm tractors have the option of down pressure on the 3pth.

When I read your first line I pictured you standing beside the tire, getting mad, punching it with your fist, and going right through.

Bring photos of the damage to a rural tire shop that does tractors, or a tractor dealer who does tires. They can advise about repairing the hole if feasable, or replacing if not.

So this weekend I had sometime and I disconnect the belt from the pulley and engaged the PTO. Yikes was that thing shaking! So I would say for certain that the shaft is the problem as nothing else was hooked up and it was still going crazy. Oh, I see where someone spot welded two weights on one side of the shaft.

Thanks Hettric for the eBay link. The shaft for the 755 look slightly different but should so the trick!

Now if I could only figure out the issue...

Thanks guys. Just bought a bunch of attachments that came with a pretty nice old Jubilee attached so I think I'll keep it and see how she works alongside the Kubota.
