Not sure I have the exact picture but there are new glues for holding bolts in concrete, and for locking bolts in metal, often an epoxy formula (you mix two parts together). Maybe a good quality one would hold for you. You'd clean and dry both sets of threads thoroughly, apply well, and keep from moving until it sets. Some epoxys set in minutes, others take hours, but I think slower is stronger.

It responds to your steering wheel input by sending hydraulic fluid down the correct hose. Besides, the steering controller - good or bad - has no effect on the rear lift operation. Actually the first thing after the pump is a QD connector. They've been known to pop apart. Some are ball-type, some are cone. The cone type have been known to plug up. But a problem here would bog the engine down. The next thing inline is the priority valve.It's alongside the right rear of the engine - after the QD connect, but before the steering controller. But when they get dirty, it's an either/or situation; either the steering doesn't work, or the lift doesn't work. <br>

Yours is a vented system - which by design is self-priming. And if air got into the system, at a minimum you'd see bubbles when the tractor is running. Steering and lift would get jerky before it actually quit due to lack of fluid. A bad enough air leak can foam fluid right out the vent and down the back of the tractor. Low fluid will make for jerky lift operation and intermittent hard steering. But if you can still SEE it - you're not that low. My hydraulic dipsticks have only one line on them, I consider that the full mark. I never top up the hydraulic fluid until the dipstick comes out dry.<br>

What you describe usually turns out to be either a plugged up (or collapsed) suction strainer - or a bad pump. <br>

They all have their place. What are your primary uses for the tractor? Who else will drive it?

Generally speaking I like hst, but you do give up a couple of hp for the convenience. Hydros are good for loader work (eacy forward/back), the gear types are a bit better suited for ground engaging work.

I can't comment about the quality of kioti's various offerings though.

Oh it certainly does, it cost a former neighbour of mine a new motor for his and his son's 4 wheelers.

It was pretty tough for him to deny he knew his kid was up to no good after his motor toasted too!!!

the paint sounds badly faded. You may be able to buff off the oxidized paint. There are products available to assist in this.

disc ploughing should only be used as the 1st cut on a new paadock, i have a 22 disc one way plough, continually making left hand turns while ploughing up a paddock, the only thing i have that will pull the heavy thing is an old dozer, which is fine because the ground pressure of the dozer tracks is far less then that of my small tractor, after the initial soil breaking with the big plough i then swap for a set of 16 disc offsets which i work the paddock in one direction (up and down the paddock,)then change direction across the paddock, once thats done i put a set of scarifiers (chisels) on the 3pt and run diagonal cross pattern then run the offset disc again in the direction i 1st started them finally i us a set of harrows to break up any big sods of soil left, it takes about a week to go from 50acres of grazing pasture to ready to plant paddock for Barely or oats, it is in heavy black clay soil call Brigalow or melon hole country
