Depends upon which TekFoil. I used the foil/bubble-bubble/foil and the aluminized Kraft paper in my loft. At that time, they rated the FBBF at R14 and the Kraft was R4. Adding the air gap between them, I figure I ended up with a total ~R20. <br>

Mine's an export model so has English control labels, but a bunch of Japanese ones plastered here and there. Had them translated; nothing of interest or importance.

N-o-t s-o f-a-s-t Murf ol' boy. I watch more Canadian TVOntario and The CBC than US. You Canucks are just as worried about your economy as we are ours. Yes your banks are in better shape, but as far as employment goes there are BIG worries about the auto-related industries--such as Chrysler completely pulling out and perhaps GM too if contracts aren't revisited.

Our son who drove genuine HumVee's in the service got a kick out of some friends who were bragging to him how their new Hummer was the same as the real thing. The advertising industry is one of the most powerfull in the country, they have ways of convincing people to buy things that they don't need or are completely impractical.

Amsoil synthetic in everything I own,since the 80's,and Ive got some OLD equipment!A 1973 ford lgt 165 and an old honda harmony mower-those were real grenades!Anyway,The lgt I bought new,it didnt see synthetic untill about 84,but its never been apart.Use it in all the systems of the nh tc35d,and the ford sd diesel that has 165k and nothing has ever been apart on it either.

yeah I finally made a decision. I had to decide between the JD 2305 and the Kubota 2360. The dealerships let me move a little snow around with each one. The Kubota had enough power to take up 2" of snow off pavement. The JD wouldn't do it. Called a dealer to get the whole package. A 54" muching deck, a 47" blower and a 48" blade. When talking to the two dealers closest I didn't get a good feeling about the customer service on the JD. The Kubota offered all kinds of service. He was willing to meet after hours or on a weekend to close the sale. The JD I had to call back just o get a price. The attitude seemed to be here's the price take it or leave it. Looking forward to having it.

If your tractor doesn't have a slip (= over-running) clutch on the PTO driveshaft, a spinning implement like a mower or tiller could kill somebody by moving the tractor (clutch pedal down or no) until it stops rotating. Costs maybe $70.

Gear is more trouble-free than chain, but would take more to fix if it fails. And you see when the chain is rusty and dry, but if you forget to lube the gearbox there's no reminder.

Size doesn't much matter. With wider, you go slower and shallower at first and could have traction problems on wet or uphill ground, and tillers are heavy so make sure the hitch can lift it. But fastest under good conditions. Smaller is a bit cheaper and easier to store, and may let you go deeper faster. Usually you want it to be wide enough to cover the rear wheel-tracks.

I'd want one with a good dust shield and with the right length driveshaft rather than having to search for one after.

When you say the the word "commercial" for lawn cutting, if you are serious you really should be talking a zero radius rider and or walk behind. The crews around here have a couple of each on their trailers, simply the fastest highest quality cut you can get. In lawn cutting time is money.

If this is just to cut your lawn, and then have your son cut a neighbors lawn once in a while the lawn tractor might be good enough.

I used to use Scag mowers years ago, I mow with my Kubota B7610 tractor with 60 inch deck and I like it as I have one machine to do snow, dirt and grass, the cut is good the speed is OK for me, but the zero's do the lawn better hands down.

A very hard question to answer. With the poor economic climate leading to excellent dealer discounts and financing getting a good price on a used machine may be difficult. My guess would to start with an asking price maybe 15% off of what you paid for it and then be willing to drop to 25% off. And that's a guess.

I just looked a a B7510 that has been garaged kept, has 250 hours, loader and MMM mower. Seller wants $13500, is that too much, it does look in mint condition.
