I own a Ford 1310 with the 3cyl Shibaura engine in it. I bought this tractor a year ago and it was worn down when we got it, but it's all we could afford at the time. Now I am faced with a possible re-build of the motor in the near future and I am having trouble finding parts. I would like to find a rebuildable motor I can work on in my own time and still be able to use the tractor, but I can't seem to find a reasonably priced core to rebuild. Anyone have any ideas???

Hello fellas, New to the site. Northern Tool sells Foton tractors but labeled with there name on them. I have a 60hp with a loader and backhoe on it. <br>

Thanks both for all the good advice. I have the ability to add plenty of weight and do have 4WD with a diff lock but I am using turf tyres. I can wait until the surface is really dry. Based on other kit I use and the look of it I think it will lift it , speed is not really an issue so I guess traction is my main concern. I only want to go around 12" deep from what I worked out. I agree also it looks expensive even accounting for the fact kit is often more expensive in the UK so I will look around for alternatives or at least for a hire/trial.

I currently have a TC40D 2004 with 200 hours, excellent condition that I would like to upgrade to more HP. <br>
Question 1): What would be a fair value for the tractor, no other equipment included?<br>
Question 2): Does NH have a 55 or 60 HP tractor in a hydrostatic drive?<br>
Question 3): What should I expect to pay for a new 60 HP New Holland tractor, 4WD, no equipment, hopefully hydrostatic?<br>

Kenny: Yes I'm here. And by the way what is a "ND"--I do have NH. Is a ND a New Deere? Or maybe a New Dabota?

Frank: Yes you spelled "implosion" correctly, so need to chime in.

Kenny: Me thinks rednecks---errr...southerners are the original "Green people" as in recyling. Down sout' on the Coast I saw every manner of recycling down there. It's like it's ingrained in them. Even things that shouldn't be recycled were---like cinder blocks used to support homes that had been submerged under 28' of salt water. The salt water dissolves the components and they fall apart. BUT they gotta stack em' up everywhere. And house bricks too---they're like GOLD. Are regular bricks not common there that they are held in such high esteem? What am I saying! These are the same people that will give you a $2000 fine for trimming a Live Oak--so instead of trimming the tree for traffic to pass they instead nail a metal sign that shows the height clearance! The lowest one I saw was in Oceansprings and was 7-3". SO if you had a van with a luggage rack you better park it and walk home.

Murf in all the equipment I have had pumps fail, which was usually due to running low on fluid, there was not any hot-smelling oil, or such. There was however glittery particles in the oil from the pressure plates wearing on the pump gears.

I'd be surprised if you had a vane pump.

Tines are pretty simple, so if you can't find factory ones, just take your best one to a metal shop.

I've did it both ways. I dug out about 10-12 8inches in a machine shed once but drainage wasn't an issue, this is by far the simpilest. Is you problem door in the end or the side of the building? I just raised the door header in the end of a building once to gain clearence but I had plenty of clearence inside, this might not be your case.

Thanks. I tried the a can of gasket seal and it has worked so far. Of course it is still cold so I don't know if it will hold this summer in the heat. It was blowing blue and white smoke (oil and water) but now it has stopped.

It must be my winter for seals- I got a bunch of much appreciated help back in december when i had a gear case leak. That's fixed and working well. BUT, now I'm losing fluid out of the top of the steering column. Took the steering wheel off and the dash apart and it looks like there's a seal at the top of the column that's shot. Anyone know how to get the top of the shaft apart to change the seal or bearing? B1750 HSD<br>

I've said it before, but a skid steer with pallet forks is VERY effective for removing stumps. Since I sold my backhoe that is all I use (backhoe sat for 4 years). And it can be fater than a backhoe (all things considered) depending on the type and size of root system.

Just bought this 250 AS. The wiring is a mess. All of the wires to instruments cut, no ignition switch, no starter switch, etc, etc.<br>

I can get the starter to turn over by touching the solenoid wire to the battery,:-).<br>

Anybody have a wiring diagram. Specifically starting, interlocks, and safety. I want to get the mechanics working first then I'll work on the accessory wiring.
