Just to wrap this up with a happy ending. I took both of the main lift cylinders to a local machine shop that specializes in hydraulics. Both cylinders were disassembled, cleaned, checked and reassembled using a new set of JD seals/gaskets for the cost of only $125 for labor. My dealer charged $100 for do just rebuild one and they didn't do a very good job. Bottom line, I'm back with a loader that works very well. My next task is to change out all of the hydraulics just to make sure I don't have any other problems.

Crunch; I didn't get the Gator blades till mid June so the stick chopping was done with the regular blades. I'll use the mower with the Gators for the leaves this fall and next spring for the sticks, then I'll see the difference you saw. Frank.

Sounds like you are getting fuel, but just not enough. Is there a seddiment bulb under the fuel tank that could have the screen plugged? Frank.

Ask shippers of heavy goods if they ever need to weigh something that could be lifted but for some reason can't be driven over a weigh-scale.

Offer it to other steel plants and similar for half price.

Put a big block of dry ice on it. As the ice turns to smoke the readout display slowly counts down. Park it in front of the bank that wouldn't give you a loan.

I bought a Yanmar 1500D. The electrical diagram in the Operation Manual shows a fuse box on the tractor. Does anyone know where the fuse box is located?

Thanks for your input on Kubota's reverse. Dealer said he has never been asked about the extreme whip-lash stopping of the Kubota while in reverse. I find that very hard to believe. He said it is a safety feature? ???
Anyway, it is a moot point, because I sprung for a JD 2305 with 64 hours on it, FEL, Independent deck lift, Absolutely like new. Got it for about the same as a new Kubota. Very, very, smooth operation with dampening between forward, reverse, and to neutral.

Talk with the dealer, see if you want to go to the third function valve or a rear remote to work the grapple. They both will work and I've used them both and to a degree I like the rear remote for flexibility of other uses but it is nice to have it on the same stick. If money is no object you should have both.

How do I get the sheave off? It's a YQM-60 (60", 3-spindle, midmount). The lock-nut (and lock washer, at the top, around the zerk) are off. The blade-holder (which the mower manual for some reason calls a "Chopper Drive Housing") was held to the hood by three nuts-and-bolts; they're off.<br>

The sheave is above the hood; the blade holder is below, and I need to separate them. Tried holding the blades and turning (unscrewing) the sheave. Tried prying the sheave up and off. Didn't want to use more force without knowing what I was doing. Anybody know?

Mine is about two years old has has never made a noise until about three weeks ago. I never listen to AM som i could not say anything about that. I am looking for a noise filter to try or maybe another antenna if that does not work. The antenne on the tractor from the factory is just a wire with a plug on the end to go into the radio and it is only about 18" long. Not much of a antenna but it does pick up good.

Check pto lever check connections under tractor check neutral switch usually wiggle shift lever if std if hydro check foot pedals. You might try checking fuses and unplug and replug all relay fuses.

Clutch plates will commonly stick from sitting unless the pedal had been tied down.

It's usually a big job to expose the sticking parts, but they can sometimes be jarred loose. One guy did so by taking a sledge to the clutch housing, but it's possible to crack the cast iron. Others succeed by managing to get it going, and ramming into a building or big tree at a few miles an hour. I know this has been covered on the Yanmar group, I think on this site, maybe others. Broken; There is probably a website somewherer that would tell you the horsepower ratings of the two lobe and three lobe shafts. If the KK comes with a three lobe shaft I wouldn't try running it with a two lobe one. Even the slightest twist or bend in one of those makes it junkyard bound. I'd have to go out to look to tell which it is, but some machine have has a standard six spline shaft on the gearbox the same as the tractor shaft. That really makes it handy to grease the "U" joint to just pull it off the gearbox and lay it across something for inspection and greaseing. Frank.

I think one or both sides of the on tractor loader mount has been twisted. Not sure how to tell which side needs straigtened. I got them back as best I could by inserting a bar into the lower support mount and then driving against the side of a building to get the bar as perpendicular as I could visually. Got it so it does mount but still out a little and mounts with a lot of patience. The support on the loader is visually in lign with the mounting support but must be off just a little as it is tough to completely seat and while trying to seat via manipulation of the bucket controls it can jump out on one side. The height seems ok though and with the bront loader mounted the arms of the loader are parallel with the floor. IT is just hard to get both sides seated without the one side raising and jumping out of the support. Any suggestions as to how to get the alignment? I thought if I tried to get it as close as possible with the loader support of the side that is tough to enter the bracket just resting on the bracket and then putting the "pry bar" in the upper hole in the support and bending to each direction I could see which direction and how much it needed adjusting. Sound reasonable?

Thanks for the pic. I worked a bit more on it today and decided to cut it into a shorter version (which may work for a spare on my 6' tiller. I have a woods and it came with a 2 sided shaft. This shaft style I have not been able to find yet (online). I still can not beleive I was this stupid! Ya ever get the feeling like something aint right BUT you continue doin what your up to anyway? This is the feeling I had when I was brain dead.
