That's quirky weather (water and permafrost at the same time, then snow forecast)! I lived in Fargo, ND for a few years, and I recall the unpredictability of spring weather in the upper midwest quite well. It's one of a kind. Hope you get some drying, and gradual/non river-flooding thawing soon!

My tractor is leaking oil on the front wheel right where the hub is turning. It is a Kubota BX1830 2005 model. It will be three years old in May. Power train warranty for three years I wonder if its covered under warranty. I've got 102 hrs on it. I will ask my dealer if its still on warranty

You said it they're nice. The salesman was straight up trustworthy and friendly start to finish. No mysteries (if there would ever be any in buying a tractor) and no hassles. Apparently they do alot of out of state sales of new Kubotas also, although they might be seeing a few less lately with hauling costs/diesel prices going up. Great dealership. Very well-recommended.

I have a 7108 loader and searching for an owners manual, I found a few spots online but want to make sure what I'm getting.

I'm looking for the directions of how to take to loader on/off. I've done it once but there has to be an easier way

also looking whats the best way to add another set of hydro connections to the tractor

Well, my TS354C has a six finger clutch. The clutchpack adjustment specs will be different than those for yours. Those for mine are in the tractor Operations/Maintenance manual in the Adjustment chapter, transmission section - and also in the Adjustment appendix.<br>

No way to tell until yours is removed, but it might be similar to the 3-fingered clutchpack used in 200 series Jinmas. If that picture link below doesn't show a clutch diagram, click the red X<br>

But you shouldn't make any rash moves until such time as you see what exactly comes OUT of your tractor. At that time, you might want to contact Chip and see if the clutchpack he offered might be a direct replacement. And considering all the work that goes into splitting a tractor, it would be foolish not to replace the pilot and throwout bearings while it's split in half.<br>

Alternatively, if the mechanic removes the clutchpack and determines there's some life left in the components - those Jinma specs might come in handy to readjust and reinstall yours.<br>

Thanks alot guys I reversed the pins on my boxblade this weekend and it fits same as my LandPride rototiller's lower link pins now. Good stuff. I had to use liquid-wrench to get the 1 1/4" bolts loosened in order to reverse the pins- but smoothly sailing beyond that!

You all struck a chord with me here. My experiences an most of those places is, never mind, I'll drive home rather than stop and eat at one.

Dirty, terrible food and overpriced. My new job takes me all over the state, I pack my food in a big cooler type lunch box. Not because I am cheap either, I have a corporate card to use on the road. Simply put, I don't care to throw the dice with my health.

I am learning where the clean, local joints are located. Had one old tavern owner that was cook and waitress during the lunch crowd (all two of us) impress the heck out of me. What a great meal, huge hand made ground round burger and home cut fries....

The down & dirty solution to what you want to do is to just run the top link & blade angle by connecting them to your existing FEL valve by swapping quick connects, but that is a bit of a PITA.

I don't know if your machine is open center or closed.

I found to my relief that the hitch on my little 22HP tractor would lift it OK, but winter arrived before I could chip much. My impression from setting it up was that it was designed and assembled by a high-school shop class: can't take anything for granted, like everything's mated properly and there's oil in the gearbox.

I can't envision exactly what you're talking about, but you may be able to force it out hydraulically under normal pressure using the control. It will expode oit of there like a shot gun ---but don't worry-- the still-connected rod end will hold the gland on--so it won't completely off!
If it's mushroomed really badly you might have to to either replace the entire cylinder with a new one (ouch) or send it out to a capable, competent, and LIABLE hydraulic shop and have them cut off the offending friend...er...cylinder end and weld a new one on. It likely won't match the other side and you'll have to repaint it---so why not send out BOTH sides and make a week of it?

Makes that piece of wood and tapping hammer look really cheap now, eh?

My policies: "Don't ask to use my tools", "Friends don't let friends work on equipment". Just for this reason. And just for next time AFTER you get it running:
"Friends don't let friends (and relatives) ASK to use their equipment either" If you do you'll have one or two less of either. But like Martha Stewart would say, "And that's a good thing"

And the final and biggie: Never ever do a job ofr a friend, neighbor, or realtive for FREE. Always always charge at least a dollar. "Why?" you ask? Because any freebies will always, always end up costing a minimum of $200-$300 -- broken hose, worn-out pump, broken welds, flat tires.

Ol' Murphy (as in Law) doesn't like it when you get paid at least a dollar.

I just got one of those 1.5X lenses for my welding helmet a couple of weeks ago. It really helped me, especially with my little MIG. I'm still in partial denial about how bad my eyes are getting.

Howdy. I'm working on swapping out the primary clutch. Any idea how to pull this thing off the shaft? Any cool tricks? What type of tool should I be using? I have removed the cover and the main bolt that slides through the end.

A B-1700 is the same basic tractor as the 7500. There has always been three basic models in that B-chassis. They have been good tractors.<br>

My DK 40 SE is a "Hoss"! I don't know about picking up round bales, because I don't know what they weigh,
but my Kioti loader picked up 1500 pounds with ease .....at idle! The engine was running as slow as it
would operate. It picked it up really fast as if it had no load at all. I had the backhoe mounted on the back
so I don't know if it would tip forward. Most people around here, who move a lot of hay, use the 3 point and the loader
so that you have weight front and rear.
My tractor seems to have enough power to tear something up. I really watch what I'm doing when I have it loaded.
It has a lot power to the hydraulics and to the wheels.
I live in Texas so I have only started it at about 29 degrees, but it fired right up. I would imagine it would start in cold
about as well as any. After 35 years in the excavation business, I found that synthetic oil helps an engine start
in cold weather as it flows better at low temperatures. I'm running Amsoil 5w-40 Synthetic Diesel oil.
The Kubota tractors are excellent and a lot of people are using them in the area (Central Texas) where I live.
You probably would not go wrong buying a Kubota. They were one of the tractors I checked out before I bought
my Kioti. They are well made and seem to last a long time. They were my second choice.
I found the Kioti to be a very heavy constructed, easy to operate piece of equipment. It is well designed and I really
like all of the features. I liked it the day I brought it home, and after 38 hours I think I've "Fallin' in Love"!
It sure saves me a lot of work. With one tractor I can mow, backhoe, have a front loader or forklift, plow, disc, blade,
or dig post holes just by changing attachments. It is very handy.
Also, I really like my dealer. I bought it from Cosper Tractor in Burleson, Texas. They are a small, family owned business
and they have been very fair with me. I'm 100% happy with the tractor and the dealer.
