That is how the loader control valves work when you attach a blade instead of a loader on that model tractor. The valve works very well with a bucket from gravity to dump. With a blade you need power to angle and the way your valve is configured you have to go to the fast cycle for a right angle.

From the steering pedastal it drops to the clutch/TA housing and then they run back to a housing on top of the transmission. There are several knuckle joints at the pivots that could have gone bad. Other wise you need to pull the floor board to pull the top cover which carries the fork for the range shifter.

I am curious as to the need? There are a lot of tools that might not cost as much and still might get the job done. For trails some times just a three point cultivator will level enough. For use in horse areas there are many types of finger type machines that work well.

I have a Honda 6522, it came with a blade and what I believe to be a belly mower. (It could be a rear mower... I've never installed it!) Is there a manual available that will show me how to remove the blade and install the Mower? I picked up an original owners manual off of eBay, but it does not have information regarding the implements. I am also looking for several non-crucial body parts like a roll bar and side panel (cowlings) that cover the steering column. Anyone with any information on these items, I would love to hear from you. Jorgie

I do not think you will find used parts for that new of a model unless it has been totally destroyed. Then the internal parts would be the only thing salvageable.

Personally, I feel the Clarke (with an "e") is a way of the maufacturer to take advantage of the Clark Equipment name of old recogized for making quality equipment---even the logo is similar. That said, Northern is not the value-price house that they claim to be or give that impression or illusion. Tractor Supply sells Clarke tools so that tells a lot right there. Even Sears sells better quality!

I'd look in the classifieds for a cheap arc welder. If you're talking a MIG or wire welder, I'd check out the Miller or Lincolns at Lowes. Excellent quality for the price---which is just a little more that Harbor Freight (now THAT's some low-priced junk!)

Did you know that 4 or 5 car batteries in series (or is it parallel?) with regular welding leads and 1/8" rod will provide enough power to weld with?

If it shorted on the bench your wiring on tractor should be ok. Is your tester fused?<br>

If solenoid is unplugged on tractor and you blow a fuse on the tractor when turning key on or to start I'd agree you need to trace wires.<br>

PROBLEM: It is possible that it could be anyone of the safety switch wires in the start circuit that is shorting and taking out the fuse. <br>

As I recall on the bench if using a ohm meter it will show a circuit to ground. (I don't have a formal electrical edumacation so I'll screw up the terms).<br>

I find it difficult to believe you would have 2 bad solenoids. However anything is possible.

Thanks Art. Yeah, it was for some spacers that I decided to pass on as they were a bit TOO much (6"!). I would love to space my rear wheels out a couple of inches. Especially since I somehow got lucky and my stock wheels have the valves toward the INSIDE of the tractor rather than the outside when they are in their wide position like they are, apparently, supposed to be.

I had enough so I decided to fix the damm problem. I had it narrowed down to the 02 sensers or the mass air flow senser. I actually figured it was the mass air flow but here is my story. Everything I read say's 02 senser's should be chganged at 100K, I know darn well that if I change the MAF and it cures my MPG problem along with the SES light, I will never change em SO, I decided to change all three at the same time! (Stupid) I know. Well I get half way down my dead end road and the SES light goes out! (This is looking good) I fill up 4 days ago. I drive 220 miles and use 12.56 gallons. Ahemm, that makes like 17.5mpg!!!! (Ahhh, the crowd goes nuts again) WhooHoo! I think I will keep my truck for another 190K miles!

So The bottom line here is that I changed the (2) two front 02 sensors and the MAF sensor. I had a SES light that coded lean air/fuel mix and I had milage per gallon drop from 17-19 down to 12-13mpg. My fix was to change the three items mentioned! Two hundred twenty bucks and I am back on track. Thanks to all who chimed in and gave my their opinions, I took my time and gave it alot of thought and waited for the weather and this alowed me to do the fix myself and save bucks! Thanks!!!

The original Backhoe for the Kubota L3010 is the BL4690 but I would look into a BushHog or Woods brand with a SubFrame mount. You could always trade it in on the New Kubota Grand L-40 Series, Which takes a BH90 Backhoe. You can take it on and off in minutes.

That "black slime" stuff you're talking about is naturally occurring in diesel fuel. Generically referred to as "diesel bugs", the stuff comes from underground - and is not entirely removed during refining. It's a combination of bacteria, mold, microbes, and algae. Usually it remains inert in the fuel. But it can "wake up" and propagate in warm/moist conditions. It will show up as otherwise unexplained black/grey/dark green settlings in your sediment bowl. There may be water present as well. If/when that happens, use a biocide additive in the fuel tank. It's usually obtainable at ports - and at marinas that serve larger (diesel) boats.<br>

My father in law had a 61, Ford Workmaster 601. Per the local Ford dealership and another Ford dealership there was a problem with his model tractor. There was so many of the "hiccups" per minute they said was acceptable and if less than that DO NOT attempt any repair. The number I am not sure of but it was like 20 or more per minute. A number that surprised me. Now, the hiccup it had was not large or pronounced but a major issue with such as cultivators. A big enough issue that here (then Ford Country) they developed a slide set up to bolt onto cultivators to keep them steady when plowing. Have no idea if that problem was common to the first Model 3000 Fords. I would try to find an OLD Ford mechanic if possible.

Could be all the advice given already is correct and the problem was fixed with the 3000 model. kt
