Seriously, it depends on the type of circuit, namely if you have a similar type bulb that you're connecting to. It's been years since I have to cut-and-cobble (non-factory install) but I can remember having to use a separate electronic module that took the signal from the turn and stop lites (both single filament) on the vehicle (I think it was a foreign car that had separate turn and stop lites---I think). The module then transformed the signal to a usable one compatible to a single double-filament bulb. And you have to keep in mind that the stop lite may or may not be/have a running lite with a double filament or single if a running lite is also separate.

Again, it's much safer and easier to get a connector from the dealer that may even simply connect to a harness under the dash---and in some cases the trailer wiring is already run through the vehicle waiting to be connected to it. Another option is Hoppy. They are the major player in trailer wiring. I've used them before with great success. Tractor Supply carries them too. In most cases all you do disconnect the harness near the tailights, insert the Hoppy connector and reconnect the car harness (about 2 minutes total). If I'm not mistaken they also offer one of those electronic modules that manages the conflicting bulb signals--and (I think) it simply plugs into the Hoppy connector. Couldn't be simpler IMHO.

My wife has been bringing home this thin tough canadian bacon. I asked her to look for some thicker canadian bacon from the local fresh food place. Oh man - the thicker the better but it must be tender. Anyone have any favorite brands for canadian bacon?

I can't imagine any "household" type use of bleach in the relatively small quanties mentioned would have a detrimental effect on the digestive properties of a typical septic tank. Think of how much detergents and bleach are used for normal bathing and washing. And you have to consider the bacteria-laden solids---several hundred gallons worth in the first chamber alone that would have to be completely stirred up and sterilized.

But if you are concerned you're taxing the system with bleach, a gallon or two of very soured milk poured down the drain, I'm told, will straighten that out.

Harvey hit the nail on head and said it in a more politically correct way.

If tax IS collected---either "accidentally", or because it was "easier" or "simpler" paperwork-wise, or otherwise such as fraud-- and no one from the State is standing there with their hand out saying "you owe us" where do you think that "tax" goes? It surely doesn't get returned to the taxee nor sent to the Feds --it goes right in the pocket of the seller.

The Arabs in this part of the country, of which I'm well acquainted who own the majority of stores from food to gas to furniture, were running scams doing just that.

And here's something to think about too: years ago I had a joint-venture plastics manufacturing business which sold retail. Under my state's sales tax laws I had to collect sales tax. Oddly though when my taxes were prepared by a CPA, and I lost the business, that collected tax was considered "income". However, in short, that income which included the collected tax ended up falling short of my needing to paying taxes (no profit) and became a total business loss for me. Bottom line, all the tax I collected was legally written off and I did not have to send any to the state. True story. My business loss was a genuine situation---but that said, how many schemers and con-men are out there that fold up shop and never pay taxes at all?

And yes, I'm jis' sayin'...

Jason, first things first.

If you haven't already done so, take a soil sample and have it analyzed. This is a critical step!! If you don't know the soil conditions you cannot amend the soil and add the proper level of nutrients to ensure the lawn gets off to the best possible start. Generally speaking, in your part of the world you will need both lime & fertilizer unless the topsoil you speak of is high quality triple mix already.

Next, don't forget to mulch the newly seeded lawn. The seeds will need protection and the moisture holding properties that will provide.

Finally, watering the newly seeded lawn. The primary thing to remember is that in order to germinate the seed must be both, very near the surface, and kept moist. The best way to do this is with frequent light waterings. The sunnier and or windier it is, the more often you water. If in doubt, wet it down!!!!

For an 'average' early autumn weather, a good soak very early in the morning, and maybe another just past lunch will usually do the trick. Avoid watering in the evening though, water on the plant leaves and a warm night is a perfect situation for some types of fungi which can wipe out a young lawn in days. Usually before you notice or can do anything about it.

Basically you want the soil constantly damp for the first 3 weeks, then for the next 3 weeks water 2 or 3 times a week, always first thing in the morning, as early as possible, then scale back to 1" - 2" of water at least once per week. Begin mowing when it reaches 3" and if possible with a mower equipped with a bagger, otherwise gently rake it to remove the clippings.

Dennis, I have seen 4 or 5 foot with 3 pt hitch at Agri Supply for about the $700 price range. Looked very well built. That was 3 or so years ago. So price will be up. They do have a web site and do ship but think you would have to call them on this item. They carry a lot of products that do not show on web site or catalog. Not sure why. kt

I believe that is a 12.5 or 13 HP unit with hydrostat transmission and manual deck lift. Most of them had a 38" deck. Believe it is a late 80's/early 90's model. <br>

Depending upon condition and hours but generally with normal wear and tear one like that with about 400 hrs. would be worth about $700.00 with a few scratchs, dents and rust around the foot plates.

Well.....I do have a solution to all of these problems and the evils, but I can't and don't claim it as being my own. I borrow my ideas from men such as James Madison, Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, George Mason, George Washington, and a few other Virginians.

To make it short and sweet, all I ask is that our governments, at all levels, be forced to stay within the limits of the U.S. Constitution. I vote for people who share my goals.......as well as the goals established by our Founders.

I simply ask that you study the comments made by Congressman Ron Paul, of Texas. He's running for the office of the presidency of the United States, and is receiving a whole lot of attention, due to his STRICT interpretation of the U.S. Constitution.

The answer to our problems is simple, and the ideas I champion are older than even the U.S. Constitution.

I will be gone for a few days, as I'm on my way to a firearms auction in Montana. When I get back, I'll respond to the replies made here.

I'm not familiar with that model but most did have seats. The problem with the roll bar would be with the possibility of meeting your head with it in an unfreindly way while operating the backhoe.

I use Amsoil in my Jeep Cherokee based on my local mechanics recommendation and he also sells it. (I trust him even though he sells it.) He offers free oil changes when you buy from him - but I do it myself anyway just as a matter of convenience.

I run the rpm 2000 to 2400, the trans seems to pull better in low range. The trans problem seems to be worse after it heats up. The dealer came out and I demo the problem, they said run at higher rpm. The trans is much better now after the dealer adjusted the electronics, however on occasion the trans will stop pulling and the engine is not loaded.I have other problems I am trying to get fixed, leak down and the radio does not work 1/2 the time.

I own a (2005) JD 3320 with the CX loader, box scraper, post hole auger & detachable (bobcat-style) teeth for the bucket. It has R-4 tires and 101hrs on it, excellent shape overall. I need to sell it and would like to get a sense of what it's currently worth.

It sounds like Ronald is getting closer to the cause of the problem.

You should also check the function of the starter solenoid. If the relay is bad it will do exactly the same thing.

;-The transmission oil shows to have the correct amount in it. There is a glass window on the side of the transmission and it show to be in the centor of the 2 lines.
