If you can still find an ONkor 3000, you'll have exactly what you need.

This is a battery backup system made for all 1/2hp (110vac) garage door openers. The ONkor 2000 was made for 1/3hp openers.

You might have to find a used one, as I don't believe they're being sold any longer. Possibly some other company makes a similar device.

Kangaroo; We are still pretty fortunate out here in the county to be free of most permit restrictions and codes. Long as you own fourty or more acres all you need is a well and sewer permit. Nothing else requires any permits or inspections unless it is going to be a commercial venture, that's when the smelly stuff hits the fan. Tell me about a steel floor in a shed, I've never heard of that. Concrete is almost a luxury any more that's why the storage only end (40%) didn't get the concreet floor, just 8 inches of packed crushed limestone.(road stone, we call it here.)Frank.

How far are you going to have to travel in order get your tractor fixed? If it isn't too far to Salem, you might be better off putting it on a trailer.

If you're going to have to haul it a long way, maybe you can find a local repair shop who will tackle the project, so long as you can assure them that they can get the parts they need through Northern Tool.

I would contact your local tractor dealer and ask them if they wouldn't give Northern Tool a jingle. Once they speak to the parts department at Northern Tool, they may decide to take on the project.

Rather than a lack of parts, I'm thinking your local tractor shop won't touch the project due to a lack of technical manuals.....ie, torque specs, assembly diagrams, etc. If Northern Tool can supply you with these important books, along with the parts, I'll bet you could get it fixed locally.

If you can order these books and data sheets from Northern Tool, it will be well worth your investment. Let your local repair shop use them, but then make sure you get them back in one piece.

Give it a shot. You might be surprised how willing some people are to help, if only they can get all the information and parts they need to accomplish the job.

Depending on your skill level, shop tools, and experience with mechanical devices.........once you receive the manuals and the spec sheets, you might find that this repair is something you can handle on your own, with a little help from a friend, neighbor, or a family member.....or all three!

Joel, looks you like full market-driven. I agree with your comment on Congressman:-) They are too professional. Look at the cost of election. But here is the issue, besides the social cost, othertning is who execute the law. I believe every law is very reasonable at the time it create. But when time passed, it will be dead because executer changed. Every social system has delay.

The tractor has a hose that loops on the power beyound. Which I have inspected and seems to be working fine ... the loader,backhoe and power steering are working right .After alot of inspecting of the overload,rockshaft and main relief valves and hyd lines on the tractor .I pulled the rockshaft housing (thought something might have came loose inside it) everything looked good inside it .... (going by the parts and tec manuals) I did however notice the main spool in the rockshaft valve was not touching the feedbackarm ( not sure if that is right) and the pistion was all the way back also... when I would move the leaver only the feedbach arm would move not touching the spool later on when I went to put it back on( hours later) the feedback arm was touching the spool , pushing it in and out when I would move the control arm , after puting it on and starting up the tractor it sounded like the main spool was pulled right back in so it could not touch the feedback arm I hope this infor will help...

No offense (or for Murf, offence, eh?).

I can't help but laugh when hear the term "special edition". In automotive terms that means "the model isn't selling well so make it look pretty to sell a few more" (like when we designed a convertible Ford Explorer in the early '90's). We also called it "putting perfume on a pig" (it's smells good but still a pig), or "throw more (losing) money at it (and that will solve everything)"

Rarely will you see anything being sold as a special edition unless it is anniversary, celebration or commemoration. Why else would they spend money on something already making a good profit margin?

Big time serious "rattle" going down hill - especially if there was a vibration with it - would have me off the tractor in a heartbeat, looking for loose lug nuts. For at least the first 50 after getting a NEW Chinese tractor, I strongly recommend checking all critical nuts and bolts BEFORE taking it out to do any work

I worked in the repair industry for many years. I was often amazed at the stupidity of the American business model.

Our shop was jammed full of broken equipment. We had no place left to store it until we could get parts to fix the stuff. The solution to this problem?........let's build a bigger shop. What a joke!

I blame the bean counters.........those idiots we refer to as "accountants". In order to make a bigger profit, the bean counters tried to reduce our inventory to the point that we weren't allowed to stock wire nuts, electrical connectors, or even hoses. They claimed that the inventory was hurting the cash flow. With all that money tied up in inventory, the business owners wouldn't have the spare cash they needed to hold a convention (read convention as "vacation") in Hawaii, or Fort Lauderdale.

One simply cannot place all the blame on the mechanics. If there is any blame to place on the mechanics, it is only for their refusal to stand up to management and let their voices be heard.

We didn't need a bigger shop! What we needed, and what we finally got.......only through a whole lot of my effort and determination.......was a parts inventory that would satisfy most of our every-day needs.

We also got ourselves a couple of people who knew how to manage those parts in such a way as to keep our inventory fresh, rotated, and up-to-date. (That was me!) And then we found ourselves a service manager who refused to allow any piece of equipment to sit around for even one day, without someone figuring out what parts it needed in order to get it back in service. In most cases, our repairs were accomplished by doing simple, regular, routine service.

Guess what? Our service department became a big money maker. The bean counters were happy. Our business owners had the money they needed to go to Vegas, and our company picknic was bigger and better than ever!

U.S. businesses have their heads packed up their butts. Profits comes from customers who spend money with the business. Profits do not come from reducing the inventory, turning down the thermostat, or from eliminating Christmas bonuses to employees.

Now go give your service manager and the boss an earful from me, will you? Many thanks.

I'm not sure about this particular model but isn't that normal behavior for machines that have a single pump system? How long have you had this tractor? Is this a new problem or a new (to you) tractor?

Robert,

I'm almost positive that your radiator has a bunch of small debris packed in between the cooling fins.

If you use an air hose and a wand, you'll likely solve your problem in less than five minutes.

If your radiator is clean, please check the small vents surrounding the outer portion of your hood. These vents must be clean to allow for proper air flow.

I use a small parts cleaner brush to clean these vents, and I do it after every mowing. The same is true with the radiator and the screen that sits in front of it. All of these things must be cleaned on a regular basis.
