Thanks Joel and kwschumm. But 2 things I am confused.
I think round-up is a kind of avoid chemical if potencially want to do organic farming. Am I right? like the chemicals for pests control? If rules broken, you can not apply for organic certification for five years. May be round-up is an exception?
Other thing is the "For tractors under 20hp, you'll want a 4ft. tiller. For tractors 20-40hp, you can go with a 5ft tiller. For tractors over 40hp, a 6ft tiller will work fine. ", here we are talking about Gross HP or PTO HP?
Side by side compare kioti dk40se hst and kubota L3830 hst:
Gross HP is 41:38 and independent PTO HP is 32.5:30.5. Looks close. Dose this difference can make bigger different on final results?

Is it actually wet around the circumference of the bellhousing where it bolts to the engine block? or is it just collecting and dripping off the bottom. Cuz if the circumference isn't wet, it might just be the weep hole doing it's job. Assuming you don't have a front loader, there are vented inspection plates on either side of the bellhousing. Water can get in there, especially if you use a power washer. Heating in the day and cooling overnight can also cause condensation inside the bellhousing's comparatively large airspace as well.

The weep hole is there to permit accumulated moisture to drain out (which is also why keeping it open should be put on your maintenance schedule). It can LOOK like oil, cuz it will be mixed with clutch dust and dirt. If it doesn't turn out to be dirty water, you could also be looking at gear oil. There's a mid-connect housing attached to the backside of the bellhousing, typically containing either the creeper gears or shuttle shift.

So the very first thing you need to do is identify just WHAT it is that's leaking out; dirty water, engine oil, gear oil.

I assume you have looked at all of the linkages? If the rockshaft just dropped while you weren't using it, I would suspect a broken or disconnected piece of linkage. I believe there is a feedback rod that connects to the left rockshaft arm. I would look there first.

No offense (or for Murf, offence, eh?).

I can't help but laugh when hear the term "special edition". In automotive terms that means "the model isn't selling well so make it look pretty to sell a few more" (like when we designed a convertible Ford Explorer in the early '90's). We also called it "putting perfume on a pig" (it's smells good but still a pig), or "throw more (losing) money at it (and that will solve everything)"

Rarely will you see anything being sold as a special edition unless it is anniversary, celebration or commemoration. Why else would they spend money on something already making a good profit margin?

I have a difficult time manuvering my 4310 w/ FEL in my 24x36 pole barn. I have built platforms w/ casters to move the implements around the barn so that I can store them more efficiently (60"blower, box blade and 48 backhoe) but I dont do much "turning" in the barn with this stuff on the tractor. It's just not enough room, and if I wack one of my posts with the FEL, the second floor is coming down on my head.

Big time serious "rattle" going down hill - especially if there was a vibration with it - would have me off the tractor in a heartbeat, looking for loose lug nuts. For at least the first 50 after getting a NEW Chinese tractor, I strongly recommend checking all critical nuts and bolts BEFORE taking it out to do any work

I worked in the repair industry for many years. I was often amazed at the stupidity of the American business model.

Our shop was jammed full of broken equipment. We had no place left to store it until we could get parts to fix the stuff. The solution to this problem?........let's build a bigger shop. What a joke!

I blame the bean counters.........those idiots we refer to as "accountants". In order to make a bigger profit, the bean counters tried to reduce our inventory to the point that we weren't allowed to stock wire nuts, electrical connectors, or even hoses. They claimed that the inventory was hurting the cash flow. With all that money tied up in inventory, the business owners wouldn't have the spare cash they needed to hold a convention (read convention as "vacation") in Hawaii, or Fort Lauderdale.

One simply cannot place all the blame on the mechanics. If there is any blame to place on the mechanics, it is only for their refusal to stand up to management and let their voices be heard.

We didn't need a bigger shop! What we needed, and what we finally got.......only through a whole lot of my effort and determination.......was a parts inventory that would satisfy most of our every-day needs.

We also got ourselves a couple of people who knew how to manage those parts in such a way as to keep our inventory fresh, rotated, and up-to-date. (That was me!) And then we found ourselves a service manager who refused to allow any piece of equipment to sit around for even one day, without someone figuring out what parts it needed in order to get it back in service. In most cases, our repairs were accomplished by doing simple, regular, routine service.

Guess what? Our service department became a big money maker. The bean counters were happy. Our business owners had the money they needed to go to Vegas, and our company picknic was bigger and better than ever!

U.S. businesses have their heads packed up their butts. Profits comes from customers who spend money with the business. Profits do not come from reducing the inventory, turning down the thermostat, or from eliminating Christmas bonuses to employees.

Now go give your service manager and the boss an earful from me, will you? Many thanks.

I'm not sure about this particular model but isn't that normal behavior for machines that have a single pump system? How long have you had this tractor? Is this a new problem or a new (to you) tractor?

Robert,

I'm almost positive that your radiator has a bunch of small debris packed in between the cooling fins.

If you use an air hose and a wand, you'll likely solve your problem in less than five minutes.

If your radiator is clean, please check the small vents surrounding the outer portion of your hood. These vents must be clean to allow for proper air flow.

I use a small parts cleaner brush to clean these vents, and I do it after every mowing. The same is true with the radiator and the screen that sits in front of it. All of these things must be cleaned on a regular basis.

I use just a regular 30w conventional oil for the engine and a universal transmission / hydraulic oil for the transmission. I read that Massey recommended their Permatran III hydraulic oil so I just looked for universal oil that claimed to meet specs for Permatran III. The hydraulic oil was Atwoods brand (local farm supply store) and sold for $29.95 / 5 gallon bucket. I read in other posts that the E14D should take about 5 - 5 1/2 gallons in the transmission and about 1 quart in the front differential and about 1/2 quart in each of the gear housings (I'm not sure what you call it) at the front wheels.
Back to your question about synthetics, I haven't tried any in the tractors or any of my cars & trucks so I don't know much about synthetic oils.

I was all for it when it was first introduced but it seems to get watered down every time it comes up. By the time if/when it gets passed it will be useless.
