Got a new B3030 this spring and from a functionality POV it has been great. However, I cannot sit in the seat more than 1/2 an hour without the start of severe discomfort. I am at a lost as what to do. For 20K unit I would have thought more attention would have been paid to the operator's comfort. Other than this it has proven to be a great tractor. But, I could not recommend it to anyone, just because of the seat. Anyone have similar experiences??

I am experiencing an over heating problem with my F17 Yanmar Tractor. The motor works fine for about 20 minutes�then it over heats�.Is there any thing I can do to resolve this problem. I tried to research this problem�I thought maybe the thermostat was bad�My tractors doesn�t even have one�well at lest one that I can�t find�Then I thought maybe the water pump was bad�.Is there really a water pump on this tractor. When I first bought the tractor, I had no over heating issues�now it�s every time I use the tractor�<br>
Can you please help or suggest a repair method.<br>

Once a quick hitch is set up to work with all your implements they can be darned useful if you change implements very often. Getting there can be a challenge though. Several of my implements had to be modified to work with my JD I-Match hitch but I'm glad to have spent the time and effort to make it work.

I use just a regular 30w conventional oil for the engine and a universal transmission / hydraulic oil for the transmission. I read that Massey recommended their Permatran III hydraulic oil so I just looked for universal oil that claimed to meet specs for Permatran III. The hydraulic oil was Atwoods brand (local farm supply store) and sold for $29.95 / 5 gallon bucket. I read in other posts that the E14D should take about 5 - 5 1/2 gallons in the transmission and about 1 quart in the front differential and about 1/2 quart in each of the gear housings (I'm not sure what you call it) at the front wheels.
Back to your question about synthetics, I haven't tried any in the tractors or any of my cars & trucks so I don't know much about synthetic oils.

Did you grab the service guy by the neck and haul him up to the owner's office? I would have (and have nearly had resort to that). That is outrageous. I'd be on the phone to Kubota pronto. I'm sure you're not the first one they've told that too.

Time to look for a new dealer.

2004 John Deere 790 w/419 loader and #7 backhoe ..just turn 200 hrs .One week after backhoe was removed 3ph just drop when I was doing some loader work . 3ph was working fine earler that week (scraping the driveway). This tractor is keep out of the weather ... all service has been done by me inclunding 50 hr ...this tractor was bought new in July 2004 ,backhoe w/powerbeyound was added last year I've had the backhoe off twiced makeing sure that lines were clean and cliped together each time ...I changed hyd fluid w/filter and clean the screen (even thought it didn't need it ) hyd fluid is on the full mark...Loader, power steering and backhoe all work fine .... speed /drop valve is open and no bent hyd lines under or on tractor. I've looked at both bypass valves for trash(system,rockshaft relief)I pulled the rockshaft unit off to look inside for something wrong everything looked fine John Deere dealer was not much help only bring in and we will look at it said that it sounds like the rock shaft valve, about $1000.00 to replaces If that is the case I can order parts to rebuild it myself for under $100.00... any help would be appreated ...

Vineland is in South Jersey, close Cap May. been there couple times, as Dennis said, very crowed. Own a small farm is my dream too. Just did it.
Closing next week. It is in Orange County, NY. Close NJ north border. The price is not that crazy. total 36+ acres, 4 acres highland can build house, others are muck land, half woods, half open old farm land, black dirt.

As I said, I don't really need them just want them. My old bronco NEEDS them because none of the guages work and I tried everything I know to do. As from my other recent posts about my tractor running hot, it got so hot a couple of times that condensation formed on the inside of the glass of the guage. I too would rather not have metric guages and that may be reason enough to change them. I assume replacing them with standard 2" automotive guages would work unless someone can tell me why I shouldn't or why it won't work.

Ok, now that you know what the problem was, do take the time to install an AIR FILTER before the radiator. If not you'll be pulling the radiator often to clean it. Some use A/C filters. What ever you settel on, it's lots easer to clean a filter than pull the radiator.

Thanks, Billy. I will stop thinking use a generator to do these things. Just use a 5HP gasoline motor pump is much easer. When I have a barn with power line, air compressor should be fine.

Not being familar with your machine...look for something that looks like a spark plug of sorts but instead of a wire going to it, it will have a steel fuel line going to it. The injectors go into the head or upper portion of the motor. Follow the steel line down to where they all converge into the injector pump.

earth......my dealer said the same thing about Woods. I own the Bush Hog SQ60 b/c of my dealer recommendation. He used to carry Woods equipment but now mostly Bush Hog. He said Woods had some problems in the past with quality such as rear blades being bent, etc. and then the company wouldn't take care of it.

He said he'd get me Woods if I wanted it but he never had any complaints on the Bush Hog stuff. He's been in business for 37 years and is a well respected guy in my area.....I took his advice and I really like my Squealer.

We had a Woods bush hog for our JD and a rear blade as well.........granted they were well used and had some years on them but I can tell you that we've repaired and even had that blade professionally welded multiple times and the thing constantly breaks where the blade and the support arm come together. It's a piss poor design.

The 6ft. Bush Hog blade for my Kubota has been very nice so far.

The alternator is only 15 amps in the first place. And the three wire design doesn't excite at low RPMs anyway. You almost need to be at working RPMs before viable charging voltage is produced. Factor in the loose belt, and you've explained away a good portion of the problem. <br>

The Chinese wiring scheme doesn't help either. As delivered, charging voltage is bottlenecked via small gauge wire through the ignition switch, the ammeter, and the fuse box before eventually arriving at the battery. You won't top up a 12v battery very fast if only 11 volts are actually getting there. To more competently deliver charging voltage to the battery, I recommend a (minimum) 10ga connection between the output of the alternator and the battery cable post on the starter motor. From there it's routed directly to battery via the positive battery cable.<br>
