My backhoe is dedicated so I'm not familar with you guys' situation exactly.

But from what I can tell reading the alignment problems of the pins, it seems that there are some very important things that may have been overlooked: tire pressure which varies all the time--and not just the rears either--the fronts have an even bigger impact on it. And load--as in "loadER" on the front is another factor. Even if the loader bucket is up and not loaded, that would raise the rear pin location. Conversely, if the bucket was down, that takes weight off the front wheels and that would lower the pin holes.

But I'm jis' sayin'...

There's a world of difference comparing brakes being on and bogging down!

Sounds like either the air filter is plugged, and/or the fuel filter is plugged, and/or the fuel filler cap vent is plugged.

IMHO if the hydro had a problem, the engine would rev but you wouldn't have locomotion, or very little.

Might be time to run some "Power Service" through it.

yep, only one knotter with the problem..........also, some of my bales are longer on one side.. I think it is a feed problem.

Maybe the good folks at Kubota will come up with a hydraulic operated can opener. Campers and hunters would love it!

Seriously, I don't know what in the world I would ever use such a machine for. Even a toy pickup would be worth more to me as a tool, but I don't even own one of them simply because they aren't powerful enough for my liking.

The RTV900 isn't any worse than the rest of them, it's just that none of these machines impress me in the least.

I once had a lame horse. She was blind in one eye and couldn't see out of the other -- but even she was more useful to me than any of these Utility Vehicles would be.

I used to place some ads on another website for farm equipment. Everything seemed to go just fine, legitimate buyers or sellers till about five years ago. Since then most any ad I placed was answered almost immediately by someone from another country who would have his represenative come buy and leave me a cashiers check, counterfit of course, and haul away what I was selling. No thanks, if I want to give it away I'll give it to someone honest. My banker told me a while back all of the reasons that a cashiers check is so easy to forge, but I don't tremember it all now, he will not accept one unless he calls the bank where it was written. Frank.

A typical vapor barrier in just sheet plastic. By its very nature of being in rolls it's already "compromised" when it goes down as there is no sealing of the overlapping joints. I have removed concrete slabs (patios, driveways, sidewalks) that when broken and sitting on ground awaiting pickup actaully were weeping stored ground/surface water. I tell people who are dead-set on using reinforcing wire mesh that it is useless. Reason being that the first time the concrete cracks, water or moisture will corrode the mesh weakening it eventually leading to failure.

Billy, that's not quite a true statement as far as all items having insurance. I carry $2.3 million in liability. There have been plenty of times I have done work for people that I knew I was not insured for---I'm honest and forthright---so I tell people upfront that I'm not insured for a particular job (tree cutting for example). I tell them if anything happens they're responsible. However, I know several other business owners who are not insured at all. They tell me that if they are sued the lawyers won't get anything because they don't own anything like a home, etc. Sad but true.

It seems AnnBrush has an issue with BearCat as well as Winco- again sorry to hear your equipment is giving you so much of a pain.

But my post was not BS and I wonder how well you maintain your equipment, which would probably answer why you seem to have so many issues.

I maintain all of my equipment and keep it garaged.

A boom sprayer is much preferred when the chemicals being applied might harm, or kill, any plants that aren't being targeted.

For example, I use a boom sprayer only when the air is dead calm, and I want to kill weeds next to my garden area. If there is any threat of herbicides drifting into the garden, I make sure the breeze is blowing away from the garden.

The nozzles on the boom sprayer direct the chemicals directly where they needed, with little threat of harming other nearby vegetation.......so long as there is no wind present when spraying.

If there is no threat of harming any other vegetation, a boom sprayer isn't needed.....as would be the case when spraying for broad-leaf weeds on a baseball field, or in a pasture.

What kwschumm said is dead on. For me it is all about who has the best costomer service and who is closest. I have two different types of machines and they both break when you do stupid stuff. The Bobcat dealer is about a half hour closer than the JD dealership. The Bobcat dealership also sells Kabota and Montanas. There is also a Lowes, Home Depot and Tractor Supply very near the Bobcat dealer. So, what I'm getting at: that one little part for one of my JD's can cost me an extra hour out of my day (there and back) when it would have been two minutes after I stopped in at Tractor Supply if I owned Kabotas or Montanas.

Sorry, can't agree with that suggestion. "Running with the hood open" disrupts airflow through the radiator even more. Plus, 130F is too cold for this type of diesel to run. They're designed to operate most efficiently at 80C (~176F). I recommend the OP disregard that recommendation<br>

I wired in the relay last night. It works great, thanks for the wiring diagram!

BTW - The relay is BOSCH Part # 0332209150, and you can buy it a bit cheaper from most autostores (or online) as compared to buying it through MTD.

I have a BX24. I was loading some cut wood (Silver maple) and had a rather large piece. Best guess is about a cubic yard. 3 ft high and over 3 ft diameter (stump end). I was leery of trying to lift it but with the RPM above 3000, the loader did lift it to move it over so he could grind the stump but still with some fear of damage in my heart. The wood had to exceed the 500 to 600 pound capacity Kubota gives for the front loader. Is it all limited by the hydraulic system (assuming I can lift it with little tractor movement(just want to put it on a cart) is is safe for the tractor? The tree feller did not want to make another cut in it due to hitting an internal rock. I understand the bounce factor in a lift and this would not cause a lot of bounce to just lift it and move it a foot or two to the bed of the cart.
