I am not familiar with a 27hp version of the Ag King. Perhaps if you provided the model number it might help me figure out which tractor you're talking about.

AgraCats are rebadged Jinmas, and both JM254s I had would collect seed/chaff/dust in the lower 1/3 of the radiator fins. The battery is in the way, so you can see this without removing the radiator. That's the best way to clean them anyway - out of the tractor. Compressed air is best - blowing from the back side. Power washers can inflict permanent damage to the fins.

In addition to the battery blockage, that air cleaner housing is in a bad place too. The suction from the intake creates a vortex that the little pull fan behind the radiator can't overcome. I used a three foot section of 2" suction hose to remote the fresh air intake. Once the intake got plenty of cool air from alongside the fuel tank, things started cooling down nicely. So cool in fact that I moved the intake hose to the exhaust side of the engine for winter use.

The radiator cap sucks too, but make sure to replace it with a 7PSI or less (OE is only 3-4 PSI). If you put a standard 15psi cap on there, the radiator seams and hose ends will start weeping. The engine blocks are usually filthy, so a commercial cleaner can't hurt. And if you replace the thermostat, make sure it's for the 80C operating range. That's about 176F if you find an American one that fits.

I allready have a single spool valve and just hooked it up by splitting the hydraulic line for the front valve and running it to the remote and back to the loader valve works great. it was an open center valve. thanks for the info btw where did you get a toplink for $30 the only ones I've seen were on ebay for $150 to $250? thanks Ken.

I have 37 hp and I mostly use mine to cut grass so it does not seem to affect my hp at all. The only time I even know the compressor is cycling is when I am outside the cab at a idle and I can hear it click in and I don't hear the engine die down any when it does. The compressor is a very small one anyway. As far as using a hoe JD says you can't install a hoe with the small can tractor. I guess because the back window there is not enough room.
As far as going inside a garage i don't think the cab tractor is as tall as a non cab. Mine goes in a 8' doorway and has about 6" left. I have R 3 turf tires on mine.

First off, as crazy as it sounds, in most cases taking the hood off will make the engine run HOTTER, not cooler.

The hood is usually an integral part of the shrouding that forces all the air the fan can make through the radiator and back across the engine itself. If you run the machine with the hood off there is nothing to force the air through the radiator.

As for the flow through the radiator, there are two points that apply.

First, yes, a lot of smaller Asian machines were made with no water pump at all, the convection flow caused by hot water rising, and cool water falling is all that causes the circulation to occur.

Second, all you need to do is to remove the radiator hoses and make up a reducer or something to allow you to put a garden hose to first the outlet side (bottom), then the inlet side (top), and then back and forth till the water runs absolutely clear in both directions.

If that doesn't help, you can always jury-rig a water pump in to circulate the coolant a little more.

Also, if it does have a water pump, check that the thermostat isn't stuck shut (or partly shut) and that the rad cap is making the amount of pressure it's rated for.

arrived finally last week. dealer got 1 rv model camo and 1 worksite in orange. both were sold in 1 day. i got the camo recreational model. the only add on was a am/fm cd player. will have rhino spray on bed liner done next week. the cab is so tight it is hard to close the doors. air conditioning works great. turns very sharp. this is my first kubota rtv buy by the time you buy the 900 model and add cab and hydralic dump the rtv 1100 is not that much more and you get air and a cab designed for thismodel with no squeks or radals. also addrd the rear hitch

It is a manufacturing mistake.

It is a carry over from the 16" mould which (by law) must say "mount only on 16" rim" or words to that effect, this was because at the time, 16.5" tires for pickups were cheap and plentiful, and 16" rims were not, so people would put a 16" trailer tire on a 16.5" rim, and it would work...... for a while. :(

Just replace them with a set of ST205/75R15 tires from a reputable manufacturer and you (and the boat) will be fine. Are you sure though that you don't have the weight numbers on the boat wrong though? A ST205/75R15 tire is only a load range 'C' tire, i.e. 6 ply rating, and is only rated for 1,820 pounds, so 2 of them would only be rated for 3,640 pounds, but you say you are higher than that. If that's the case you should consider getting the next size larger tire which is a ST225/75R15 but is rated for 2,540 pounds each, which gives you an extra 720 pounds each, or 1,440 pounds total weight carrying capacity.

If this is the case then you should also ensure that the axle and suspension on your trailer (look at the weights listed on the manufacturer data plate) is rated for at least 4,000 pounds also.

If you have 3,500 pound capacity running gear (axle & springs) and 3,640 pounds of tire, but a gross weight exceeding that, someone will point an accusing finger if there's ever a problem.

I don't know how far you from Albany, but I doubt you'll find better prices or service than at Redneck Trailer Supplies, I dealt with them for years when I was manufacturing trailers and truck bodies. Good people.

I have a loader valve on my Kubota b7510, I built a cab for it and had to cut the handle down so it didn't hit the window or pinch my finger, it works like a charm. I guess if you are a little on the short side at 5'8" I must be a midget at 5'4" but I do not have a problem with the seat on my tractor no BH or FEL but can reach everything just fine. I wish I could afford the arm rests for it though.(dealer quoted me $85....EACH!!!! ouch) Ken.

You might want to check the bolts that secure your steering valve to the tractor. If they work loose, you will begin to develop a leak in the supply and return lines connected to your hydraulic power steering valve.

You may not need any seals. You may have a loose hydraulic line, instead. Replacing a broken or cracked line may not be the solution, as there is likely something loose that caused the power steering line to crack, or work loose, in the first place.

Grab hold of your steering wheel and see if it has any forward-to-back or side-to-side play in the steering column. If so, you will need to tighten the bolts that secure your steering valve to the tractor. This will likely involve removing the engine side panels and the dash, along with the dress cover that fits below the dash, between your feet.

My Kubota B2100 has four bolts that secure the steering valve to the tractor. They work loose from time to time. I recently replaced a broken hyd. line, and in the process of replacing it I discovered the reason why it cracked.

The bolts weren't very loose, but it doesn't take much for there to be a considerable amount of movement in the power steering lines.

Dear friends,

When mowing around low hanging trees, please beware of the fact that the ROPS is much higher than your head, and it's behind you, where it is out of sight and out of mind.

A good friend of mine was mowing his yard, when he decided that he could go under the wire supporting the power pole next to his garage. The ROPS caught on the supporting wire and lifted his front tires completely off the ground, nearly flipping his tractor over backward. Thankfully, he was traveling at a very low speed, allowing him to quickly stop before it went over on him.

It is rather ironic that the device that is supposed to prevent the tractor from rolling, can actually cause it to roll.

Be careful, friends. It doesn't take much pressure on the top of the ROPS to flip a tractor over on its back........and NEVER, EVER attempt to pull or drag anything by using the ROPS as a hitch point.

You're right. CTD isn't located right next door! hehehe.

CTD has a full sales staff and they travel all over North America. They can identify or measure any hydraulic cylinder to determine which packings and seals are necessary to repair the item, or even make a new cylinder from scratch to replace any cylinder up to 8 inches in diameter, and 10 feet closed length.

And if you wish to send your cylinder or hydraulic pump to them, they will repair the item and then send it back.

CTD is as close as your nearest shipper.

Stanley has an advantage over me, in that he doesn't have to mess around with international customs in order to get his material repaired and returned to him.

But, I'm sure Stanley has a supplier much closer to him who may be able to help him just as well.

Had a 525 indestrutable machine. They were designed for hard rugged use, in the middle of nowhere, that is why you use motor oil and they are maintenance friendly for the novice. Sounds like the spool is hanging up when you release the lever, needs cleaning, also the oil changed along with the filter for the hydrolics.
